1441  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: 15x HD7970's in BTC on: May 09, 2012, 02:12:40 AM
I'm in calgary!

have you tried going to memory express?

I want to do a simple BTC payment/transaction with someone.....and am willing to compensate Wink ....(using BTC of course).
1442  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: 15x HD7970's in BTC on: May 09, 2012, 01:42:45 AM
I am looking for 15 (fifteen) Radeon HD7970 Cards.

I am willing to pay ~1500+ BTC for the lot, including shipping to Calgary, Canada.

Please PM me or post here with offers.

I would prefer Brand New Items and do not care about Brand.

thanks,
bitlane.

**EDIT**
I should have been a bit more specific in my request, as I would prefer REFERENCE Design, or a Non-PowerColor Dual fan.
(complaints about the Powercolor VRM Cooling on their $460 CAD Dual Fan Design on NewEgg Canada)

**EDIT 2**
Unfortunately there are too many complaints about the Sapphire Dual Fan Cards suffering from Coil noise, so those are OUT as well....

Currently the Visiontek Reference Cards at both NewEgg USA & NewEgg Canada seem to be the most plausible, as there is no limit for purchase.
1443  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Delta 120mm 130CFM Fan PROMOTION: 4 fans for the price of 3! on: May 08, 2012, 10:36:06 PM
This seller is TOO HONEST for his own good.

He refused to take my extra BTC, even with my lack of math skills and reading comprehension.

I hope there is a place I can make a complaint about this type of activity Wink

(as it's a very foreign subject to me, compared to what I have experienced on this forum to date)

So, in the end, not only do I get 8 fans for the price of 6 (6x $15.00 USD to Canada = $90 USD), I also get the already discounted BUNDLE price for 6 (6@ $75) and 2 Fans FREE.

**DISCLAIMER**
You know that there's a chance that you are dealing with an honest vendor when it takes 2 days of near-arguing over PM in order to get your payment made because you keep offering to send too much and the seller keeps refusing the amount (because the buyer keeps trying to apply 'worldly-standard-economics' where it's a crime to apply 1 deal to another, or, in conjunction with).

Thanks again.
1444  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoinfeedback.com - How can I make it better? on: May 08, 2012, 02:28:31 AM
I figure it is time for a refresh of Bitcoinfeedback.com, both visually and feature-wise.  All comments/criticisms/suggestions are welcome.  How can I make the site better?  My intent/aim was for something along the lines of heatware, but for Bitcoin users.

Sort-able user name/info tables (although the search seems to be pretty dead on even with a tiny bit of info supplied).
1445  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Deathbylollipop Future(s) {Stocks, Bonds, Ads, Lollipops} on: May 08, 2012, 02:08:19 AM
No listing on https://glbse.com/ipos, no listing on https://glbse.com/assets - only empty words.

Don't you even have the 8 BTC to buy a ticker symbol before announcing it?!

We are currently on the market looking for a loan.

Once we have the necessary funds available then following up with a glbse ticker symbol will become our priority.

So you actually need a $40/8BTC Loan in order to even get started ?

WEAK....

8 Fans for 'the price of 6' to CANADA please.
Will wait for final price and BTC address.

I still use it and it works for me 100%, never a problem (however, NMC only).

Why doesn't everyone just leave it alone and let people do whatever they want ?
My silence is not a requirement of your freedom.

Why not go straight to the source and PM Pirate, rather than smear his name and reputation here ?

....pissing in the wind much ?

One advantage of borrowing from people on the internet is that unlike shady characters, we won't break his legs or murder his family if something goes wrong. We might sue him and such, but in the end he can declare bankruptcy if things go very far south.

Speak for yourself Wink
1454  Economy / Lending / Re: Bitcoin Savings and Trust is probably a Ponzi Scheme: A Petition on: May 07, 2012, 05:21:04 PM
Of course we do not want to support shady, anonymous and opaque shit as a community. It is for that reason that I did not invest in bitscalper. Bitscalper refused to reveal his identity  while running an arbitrage service where he held onto large amounts of bitcoins. This was quite clearly a scam. Pirate on the other hand has willingly given his identity to his customers. Further he has given his customers a basic explanation of how the business works: selling bitcoins locally to people who do not wish to use the established exchanges. As a customer I am perfectly happy with this explanation. I do not require a detailed audit of his transactions or a play-by-play run down of everything he does in order to trust him with my bitcoins.

Thank you for the information. I was not aware that Pirate had already disclosed details of his operation and am now beginning to think the people calling it a ponzi are just jelly.

Matthew, I have to say that for a 4,000+ Post Member of this forum, I find it difficult to believe that you have never attempted to find out who Pirate actually is....?

All of his personal information is quite readily available to anyone willing to do the legwork if not satisfied with the basics.

Can you increase the speed of my Bitcoin Mining by up to 300% ?

Since you were one of the Developers and you did alot of research, I figured I would ask.

Any chance we could hear from 'Ruth from South Dakota' ? ....in regards to increasing payout ratio as well as your secure wallet ?
1456  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Deathbylollipop Future(s) {Stocks, Bonds, Ads, Lollipops} on: May 06, 2012, 11:41:32 PM
Do you have a sample of your current 'Cutting Edge' work that we can see as an example ?

What is your track record and do you have any current References that can speak as to the quality of your work ?

LOL, Nope, just buying an island to escape to.

Isn't that kinda feeding the fire ?

You said something else for them to talk about.

...I walked right into that one....LOL

===========================

Now finally DBL and myself are proud to announce official development of a Top Secret undertaking classified under the name "chemical X".

Due to negative feedback received from certain members of our community Deathbylollipop is being very secretive in regards to said project but the official press release statement for "chemical X" is as follows:

======
======

"Project ("chemical X") is designed to place an absolute stranglehold on Bitcoin advertisement and upon release will launch DBL into its role as a Bitcoin business Powerhouse "

                                                                                                      - Deathbylollipop CEO
======
======

You can watch the official "chemical X" promotional video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mmCMUPCNgE

It's a good thing that you have decided to be a FOR-PROFIT Organization, because you will need the extra funds once you get taken to court for using that video by it's rightful owner.

Seriously ? How stupid do you think we all are ?
