1281  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1000 BTC. 100% guarantee for lender on: May 18, 2012, 08:39:41 PM
Just convince me it will be 100% secure loan

Unfortunately I can't do that because I am poor and untrustworthy.

I will pass and let you lend it to another member of the community who isn't going to waste it like I might do.

Thanks just the same.

1282  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1000 BTC. 100% guarantee for lender on: May 18, 2012, 08:35:10 PM
How about YOU lend me 1,000 BTC for 10% per Year ?
I will secure it as well....or does that rate offer only apply when YOU want to borrow and not lend ?

It's amazing how people change so quickly, to complete different sides, even on the same equation.

I can lend you 100 BTC right now? do you want?

Can I have it for 10% per year ?
1283  Economy / Lending / Re: 2K BTC bond, 1%/month, 100% reserve guarantee, no pirate exposure on: May 18, 2012, 08:32:09 PM
Em, sorry for stupid question, but why would some one lend you btc, when he can lend 15 times less to some one and still get profit?
This is mathematically not reasonable.
Without a thought about btc price going down, government banning btc, etc.
Even some banks can give a higher rate.

High Amount (better rate to begin, volume).....Low risk, low reward. Finance 101.

Nice... LOL

1285  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1000 BTC. 100% guarantee for lender on: May 18, 2012, 08:23:23 PM
HHhmmm...

Ok, let's me ask you, will you lend your BTC to me for 10% per year? Now it sounds nice... is not it? But it is actually the same

...shoe on the other foot...

If you give me 4% per week I will lend you 500 BTC... Do you want?

1286  Economy / Computer hardware / FS: 11 Mining Cards @ 3700 MH/s - 5830/5850/6870/6950 on: May 18, 2012, 08:11:39 PM
FS: 11 Mining Cards = 3700 MH/s - 5830/5850/6870/6950

As I just finally completed getting the last of my recent batch of 7970's online, these 11 cards are now spares.
I am looking to get rid of them as a package deal.

--------------------------------------
5x Sapphire Radeon HD5830 Extreme 1GB (320+MH/s each)
2x AMD/ATI Reference Radeon HD5850 1GB (375 MH/s each)
2x AMD/ATI Reference Radeon HD6870 1GB (310+MH/s each)
2x Asus Radeon HD6950 DCUII Dual Fan 1GB (375 MH/s each)
--------------------------------------
3700 MH/s worth of cards without pushing too hard, all on stock voltage or less.

11 Video Cards + 11 Molex/6pin Power Cables Only. No Original Packaging.
(however I can throw in a bunch of Xfire bridges upon request at no charge, as I have a shit-ton of them....lol)
240 BTC Shipped USA/Canada

Shipping from Calgary, AB, Canada.
Local Pickup is welcome ($50 off, but must pay cash - CAD is fine)
I will however accept BTC for all orders to be shipped.

A little bit of dust here and there, as they were miners. Everything works 100%. All flawless.
I will get pics for serious buyers. Tire kickers need not apply.
I just want to make this as painless as possible, as I don't really have the time to part everything out and deal with multiple people.
This is simply my first batch of cards that are ready to go, with more to follow after a few more upgrades...and after these sell.

Thanks for reading,
bitlane.
1287  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Need raid controller on: May 18, 2012, 06:14:25 PM
You are going to READ mostly, so just run your onboard RAID in RAID 0 and call it a day.
For the price difference, you will barely notice a difference unless you are doing alot of simultaneous writes to the drives.

I run 3x Intel X25-V 40GB SSD's in RAID 0 on ICH10R and get a steady 700MB/s throughput on SATA II for Reads, as it's simply my boot/program volume.

My rig takes longer to turn on and post than it does to boot and that's all I need...
1288  Economy / Lending / Re: search a loan for 500 btc for 3 month on: May 18, 2012, 05:24:52 PM
I can send you the coins today. But first send me a video of you holding up your ID card with all the information clearly visible.

...and a shoe on his head so that he can't use someone else's video.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Critical vulnerability (denial-of-service attack) on: May 18, 2012, 05:23:18 PM
Should be in the getinfo "errors" key. It uses a hardcoded private key to relay across the p2p network.
Thanks.

Can I use getinfo()'errors' to display future message broadcasts in a web app ?
Should be fine, though I'd advise against posting it publicly, just in case some attacker is googling for vulnerable services.
Of course. It will just be on my local mining monitor app for CGMiner.
Thanks again.
1290  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1000 BTC. 100% guarantee for lender on: May 18, 2012, 03:21:18 PM
I suggest you to go to the gambling section, because it`s actually is.
And yeah, your rates should be like pirates one)

I offer you 100% secure loan... what else do you want?

For you to gamble with your own money. This is hardly a 'Loan' ....as is what is done in this forum.
Take your proposition to the Gambling Section.

Why would anyone loan 1,000 BTC for a 25 BTC return ?...LMAO
1291  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1000 BTC. 100% guarantee for lender on: May 18, 2012, 03:19:43 PM
I can see why so many people have chosen to ignore you.

Why, Yes, you are correct. I love being ignored.

What in hell is a sub-100 post user doing creeping around in the Lending section anyways ? WHO are YOU looking to Scam ?
Are you here for a loan as well ? Do YOU have a fool-proof plan for massive gains and just need a few hundred BTC to get IT off the ground ?
1292  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1000 BTC. 100% guarantee for lender on: May 18, 2012, 03:12:52 PM
Nope. It's gotta be a Ponzi.
there has to be a reason why he doesn't want the money sent to him.....
Maybe he wants to break into our wallets.

Nope, it's a Ponzi. It's gotta be a Ponzi.....

So, in that case, I can lend up to 1,000 BTC but I will require 7% interest WEEKLY (Pirate Rates) in order to make this Ponzi worth my time.

How do we know this isn't a Ponzi, or possibly a Scam or that you will use it for drugs or hookers ?
You know how careful people are around here......
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Critical vulnerability (denial-of-service attack) on: May 18, 2012, 12:50:08 PM
Stupid question, although I think someone else was wondering the same...

How was that mass 'vulnerability' message sent and displayed within the affected Bitcoin GUIs/Clients ?

I saw that (in the lower left of my Bitcoin-QT Windows GUI) before I saw the forum warning....

I guess what I am most wondering is, what call was used on the client-side to retrieve that warning ? (getmininginfo.something ?)

I would like to be able to display future warnings etc in my Web Mining monitor, that I also display other BTC info in using API calls.
1296  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGminer - web monitor beta v0.5 [switch pools all rigs] on: May 18, 2012, 12:28:22 PM

so much for refactoring...  i did add a 'heatindex'  that I have been using extensively.    It is very helpful to see when 'farm' is starting to warm up.

heat index is basically the card temp plus the fan percentage.  it only works well if you have fan on auto.

160 would mean a card temp of 75 and the fan at 85.   danger.
134 would be card at 73.5, fan at 60%                       comfortably warm
117 would be card at 67, fan at 50%                          green!

I might check it out and 'borrow' the heat index code from it to add to the version that I am still using....as I have pretty much done the same for the last couple updates....lol (add pools etc...hehe)

Other than that, the only thing I really have left to do is add delete-pool to mine (add-pool works AWESOME !).

Not sure if I mentioned it, but I also added a visible countdown and am using 45 second updates now (still have manual reload button as well).

This app truly is a life saver and I don't know what I would do without it.

thanks again.

I do not sell drugs, I have a different strategy! when I get my silkroad for private purposes, to smoke a little weed themselves ^ ^ weed is good for stress ^ ^! I hope someone can help me quickly!

Unfortunately I am unable to offer the loan then. I was hoping it would be for drugs, because the sales are always quick and the rate of return is also excellent.
I am not interested in anything else that the funds might have been used for, as most are too much of a risk.
Good luck and I hope you find another Lender soon.

What type of Drugs do you normally buy and sell on Silk Road ?
Your transaction history and dendrogram tree are both quite fun to follow.....

Will you offer a portion of your profits as interest on the loan from your upcoming sales ?

Edit: Any plans to release your custom monitor code?

I actually didn't write it.
You can find it in the Mining Software Section. It was written by jjiimm_64. I changed it a bit, but it's his project....and available for free.
"CGMiner Web Monitor"

I put a link to the cards I am using at the bottom of my post above.

Thanks for that. It seems like the Gigabyte cards are the ones that can get lowered in voltage the most. My HIS cards take a total shit with anything less than 1.1. You cards and another posters are both getting great voltage numbers and both are running GB cards. I have 36 7970s now and none of them are Gigabyte.

I have 24 XFX Black Editions and 12 HIS. I am not super happy with either's performance.

I decided to try and up the overclock a bit more (+10Mhz), from 950 to 960Mhz on each GPU to see what would happen.
It had no effect on the power readings on the UPS's (which probably means I could undervolt a bit more if I wanted to) and the cards are now running at approx 573 MH/s each. I will run like this for a day or so and try more after I confirm this is stable.
