Hello community: I am currently operating a non profit advertisement company looking to promote awareness for the bitcoin and its related enterprises. Our goal as an organization is to increase awareness of the bitcoin in order to encourage its trade which will result in more profit for business owners and companies which accept it as a valid form of currency. We operate out of South Florida and plan on making youtube videos centered around the night life scene. In these videos we will be encouraging friends and strangers to say something along the lines of "if you don't trade bitcoins you're not cool" or "[your business name here] is great!" We will then be advertising our campaign on various media and social forums including but not limited to: www,facebook.com www.twitter.comwww.youtube.comwww.bluelight.ruwww.dogsonacid.comwww.elitertrader.comI am also an avid blogger as well as an excellent writer (at least I like to think so) so if you need an article or blog written on the bitcoin or possibly a review for your website we can definitely make that happen. I can also advertise you on my personal vlog on the current status of the bitcoin, the deathbylollipop agenda, and other bitcoin related news. Keep in mind we are operating as a non profit organization so all proceeds made from our advertisement campaign will be fueled back into the bitcoin community in order to further its development. As for fees they are always negotiated on a per advertisement basis but a frequent consumer can expect to pay between 10-20 btc for a youtube endorsement centered around promotion of their business (approximately 2-5 minutes long). For blogs and articles a consumer can expect to pay 5-10 btc per article or blog. I will be choosing a website for personal bitcoin promotion so if I deem appropriate I will re post it on the site for further endorsement. For all you know, pirate uses the funds to buy cocaine in bulk in columbia
and resell it US side. That's not a ponzi. And the rate of return on it is
guaranteed to be much larger that what he pays his investors back.

If I believed he would default or run off today, I'd have bought Meni's anti-pirate bonds. There is still money to be made here if you play it right, but in the long term, it's a ponzi. I'm fairly certain.

So, you either did 1 of, or a combination of the following 3 things: 1) You are calling Pirate a Scammer. 2) You are calling Me a Scammer. 3) You are trying to make your 28% return on 25% Insurance look better with the link in your Sig, by simply posting. I think you forget how YOU made most of your current bankroll, by offering 15% or LESS to users who didn't have a Pirate account, while taking the profits and thinking nothing of it. I do appreciate your vote of confidence in Pirate though....and considering how much BTC he has made for you (while you used other's BTC), I am sure HE would as well. Thanks again, bitlane. |

I believe, to the best of my knowledge, that given the absence of any public financial disclosure and an extremely high rate of return that the Bitcoin Savings and Trust is a Ponzi scheme.
I'd like to make this a forum-based petition of bitcointalk users who agree with this. I don't want to do a poll, because I want people to commit their user name to this statement.
I'm interested in seeing how many people agree with me. I'd prefer to have any debate over this issue in a separate thread.
My theory is that if you want to develop community, then you need to figure out who to trust and what is a scam. Bitcoin has suffered from too many scams.
So if you agree, reply and say "I agree".
Is this your way of asking for a New Account referral from an existing member ? You clearly have no concept of the actual scope of his operation, or just how much BTC people currently have invested with him. People know who he is in real life. Due to the amount(s) in question, defaulting, for him, would essentially mean either 1 of 2 things..... Jail or Murder. Why would anyone with public ties risk that ? |

That's a bit harsh....even for a Dick such as myself. The guy has a few BTC......he didn't kill anyone's child. Let's keep this in perspective. Can you just answer this question: where does the label you want listtransaction to report for outgoing transactions, come from? Or alternative, how do you want to set it?
First off, if you had read the entire post, or even the OP, you would have noticed that... I AM NOT SMART ENOUGH TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.Second, I am simply looking for a common way to show the GUI's user Friendly Labels from the address book for both Sends & Receives. Currently, Receive Labels can be populated in a 'listtransactions' field using 'account' but there isn't anything that is common to both Send and Receive that will do the same. When I am writing my Transaction array for my php web monitor, my code is using 'listtransactions' for everything and everything is common to either Send or Receive, with the exception of a way to display both transaction 'Categories' Labels. I am simply not smart enough to answer anymore.....LOL I display the wallet's 'latest transactions' array in my Mining Monitor using this code: .....[CUT]
