Unfortunately, Arsenal didn't win this match, even though Arsenal had tried hard to win because it looked like they always kicked at goal several times and showed that Arsenal had tried by showing that Arsenal's possession of the ball was better than West Ham's, but in reality, West Ham's defense is difficult to penetrate. I'm sure many Arsenal supporters are disappointed with this final result, and Mikel Arteta must evaluate this very embarrassing defeat.

Arsenal having difficulty to face the low blocks club and this is the main weakness of arsenal. It was losing three points and im starting to think that arsenal will not make it this season. it's caused by it was playing far from good. Arsenal was dominating the match with very high ball possessions combined with lots of goal attempts then what? it was losing against a low blocks club like westham which is using counter attack as its strategy. Westham was also able winning the game with cleansheet and this is so amazing to see that.

Glad to see that westham was able to helping liverpool to create gap toward arsenal. It seems like that the bad story of arsenal this season is starting from here right now. Im very happy with this result caused by it gives manchester city to be even closer again to the liverpool.

Arsenal team has performed very badly today, while Arsenal team is currently second in the points table. The West ham United team is very experienced in the attacking department which is why they have been successful in two attacks despite having few attacks. Premier matches are always unpredictable. It already happened since many years ago. So, we shouldn't be so surprised to see the funny matches of Arsenal and Spurs. Specifically for Arsenal, they very often lose points with weak teams. And it will lead them to a decrease of their performance in the next matches. I honestly don't know why Arsenal often started the season impressively but they end the season with a very bad way.

In tonight's match, two North London teams received crushing and embarrassing defeats.
Tottenham had to go home empty-handed without full points from Brighton with a score of 4-2

Arsenal lost the game to West Ham and while Arteta and his player had to get the full three points from this match they failed and now Liverpool is happy because there is now a two points gap between Liverpool at first place in the table and Arsenal while Arsenal could change this in the game they had against West Ham.

But Manchester City has had very good news. Because De Bruyne has recovered and has reportedly participated in several training sessions. What I have said previously in this thread seems to be true that there is no team show their consistency this season. Who predicted that Arsenal and Spurs will lose with 2 goals difference? For Spurs, some people might predict that it would not be easy game for them but conceding by 4 goals earlier is something unpredictable. On the other match, Arsenal wasted the opportunity to overtake the 1st position from Liverpool in the standing. I think the upcoming window transfer will be the key for all teams to improve their squads. Most teams has the same issue, its all about missing players due to injuries but they dont have good secondary players to contribute to the team when the main players are unable to perform well.

Spurs no longer belong to list of competitors for Premier League title. They will have to fight for only a spot in top four of the league, not for the league title.

Arsenal with their inconsistency and instability will have to struggle to maintain their position in trio race with Liverpool and Manchester City. I always think that Liverpool are stronger than Arsenal, more experienced and still are the strongest challenger against Manchester City in this season.

Again, Pep and Manchester City will win it, I don't know because Liverpool and Klopp are strong, experienced and know how to win Premier League again.

Very few people thought of those shocked results and many gamblers lost their money with these clubs and their bets on bigger teams.

Win small or win big, it is not big different because goal difference will only be used to compare two clubs on the ranking table if they have same total points. If one club have less points than another competitor, goal difference is better or worse will make no sense.

Is Haaland still injured and is it know for how long he will be out? I thought he had recovered already during the FIFA Club World Cup, but it seems that Guardiola doesn't want to risk anything and give him more time to make sure he doesn't start early and get this injury break out again. But Manchester City is still a very respectable team without him. Alvarez is a great player who is able to score from lots of positions and without any big issues. He is one of the most important City players I think. But when Haaland is back, they are definitely a stronger team with him.

As updates are coming about Eric Haaland most chances he will miss few more matches but coach already give date he could be available in of the February which is surely good news for them because he already missed few matches, and now he will miss few more matches, but these are mostly against weaker sides which will not create any problem for them, and they will be able to have him before Champions League big match and with this he will be also available for few Premier League matches which will give him good practice before this big match.

But, as they suffered in last few matches due to injury of their two big players KDB and Haaland now in January transfer window they will be able to have few new faces into their squad which will give them better performance in further any injury case in coming weeks.

Arteta and his boys are planning to give Arsenal fans another heart break and is becoming a normal style of feeding the fans with a shameful performance each time the race for the title is becoming hot and interesting.
I don't see any reason why Arsenal would lose against West Ham who don't know when to get a straight 3 games win, Arsenal played everything but didn't get a goal, this is to show that they are not in any form to even be at the top of the table and even win the league title.
This performance alone has given football lovers that impression that the Gunners are not capable of beating the best to be the champions of EPL, I must say that I'm seriously disappointed with the performance of Arsenal, they should watch out for Liverpool and Manchester City and probably Aston Villa to over take them.

Arsenal who's consider to be in race with Liverpool for the the EPL title have suddenly dropped from the race,  what do we expected from these clubs now that they lost to Westham United? A recovery back to winning track? The matches are becoming complicated for elite clubs, their opponents are not stopping behind and keen on holding them down and denial of three points. The EPL race is changing into another dimension, we would be expecting new challengers and there's Manchester City who will surpassed Aston Villa and Arsenal who are relenting in their actions to win EPL matches.

No mate, if you check my early comment about the Arsenal and Westham match, you will see where I said that Arsenal should not underestimate Westham because Westham has achieved two consecutive wins in the premier league without conceding a goal.
