If Sevilla really go down into the Europa League once again then they will definitely be my favourite for the title. I'm saying this no matter how they perform in the La Liga at the same time. Because at the same time I know how badly they started to their league. But when it comes to the Europa League they are turning into a different team.

The Europa League has been one step ahead of the La Liga for them for many years. They have always played differently here. They became champions even without a manager who didn't have much experience with bigger teams.

Of course Lazio isn't a weak opponent but I just wanted to say that Atletico Madrid are stronger than them all. Otherwise technically Lazio is the toughest opponent in the group for them. I didn't know that the first game was going to be between them. Playing away against a team like Lazio might be tough for them.

However I still expect to see Atletico Madrid showing their quality. Even if they get one point it is still not bad in my opinion. Because they are good enough to collect at least 4 points against them these days. They started the season strongly.

Jadon Sancho refused to apologise to Erik ten Hag you know and it doesn't look like the problems between them will be solved. This is a really bad situation for them as they are lacking many players in defense line. However this is still a comfortable game for them on paper considering their start to the season.

Wolves destroyed them home in the previous season. It should be time for Liverpool to have revenge on that result as well. I will be expecting a win by at least 2 goals from Liverpool. Wolves haven't started decently and I don't think they can resist Liverpool's attacking force too long.

It was a horrible night for PSG unfortunately. Mbappe did his best in this game by scoring two goals but even his effort wasn't enough to win this game. Because there is a significant problem on PSG side when it comes to team effort. PSG are too dependent on Mbappe. He has scored 7 out of 10 goals of the team in the league so far.

We saw another example that having a dominance in ball possession isn't enough at all. Nice's xG was way better than PSG tonight. Nice's attacking effort was pretty impressive as they brought the score to even 3-1 during the game. This was a deserved win for them.

I really appreciated how Leverkusen resisted Bayern Munich today. Their performance was so impressive in Allianz Arena that "resisting" might not be the right word to define what they did actually. They balanced the game quite nicely. Even though Bayern Munich got ahead two times they still managed to equalize every time and got that one point.

I think this is a good result for Leverkusen while it isn't for the home side. Kane was really decent again by scoring a goal. But no matter how much they tried they couldn't manage to beat Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen even in a home game.

It is nice to hear about Odegaard's being keen on extending his contract with Arsenal already now. Because he is one of the most valuable players for Arsenal so they wouldn't like to lose him early. Extending with him would prevent some other teams from trying to allure the player to themselves as well.

Arsenal have built a great team with the transfers of really talented players. Their main focus from now on should be to have long-term contracts with the important players and to sign some experienced players if possible. This would secure the future of the team and increase the probability of achieving bigger successes as well.

Until he makes a clear decision on his future it seems like we will continue to hear about these rumours. I have also heard such news like he has already reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid. However I'm not sure whether this is really true. Because at the same time there are rumours linking him with some English Premier League teams too.

PSG have no choice left other than doing their best to extend his contract until January. They haven't been keen on letting him go on free transfer. But if they can't convince him I assume Mbappe would be offered a contract and signed by another team in January already but he would join his new team next summer.

Lautaro Martinez is a really special player. No matter with whom he plays in the attacking line he still continues to show the same performance. He has scored nearly all of Inter's goals in the league this season so far. He has made a duo with Thuram after Lukaku and Dzeko's departures. However Thuram is also a decent player now.

Because of Martinez's high level performance Inter wouldn't like to sell him until he gets quite old that's for sure. But I'm curious about whether Martinez will have the same thing in his mind for a long time. For now he is really happy to be a part of this team. FP1 is going to start in an hour. I think we will see a similar scenario in Free Practice to the one in Monza. Ferrari will seem really solid in these sessions once again. However I'm curious about what they will do in qualifying. The previous Singapore GP was really amazing for Ferrari drivers indeed. Leclerc got a pole as well.

But this time Verstappen should be well-prepared for the whole weekend. As long as Red Bull don't make any mistake I expect Verstappen to take pole position already. Verstappen will probably win the race as well unlike the poor performance in the previous race here.

While Manchester United aren't in a very stable condition I'm curious about whether they would lose points against Brighton as well.

They lost to Brighton in Old Trafford last season. Now they are the favourite side to win maybe but their odds are quite high at the same time. I think both teams to score is one of the likely options to happen. I can't trust the Red Devils for the win honestly.

It would be really good for PSG to extend Mbappe's contract to 2025 of course. They don't want to let him go for free normally. But if they can't convince him for this then there is nothing they can do about this situation. One thing is certain that it won't be as easy as previously to convince him to stay a little longer.

But convincing him for another year can at least help PSG sell him for a really big amount next summer. In that situation I would expect an interest by Premier League teams as well and an offer too. In this case Real Madrid would also prepare an offer and there would be just the race PSG would like to see.

Yes there is no information such as he is injured right now which is good news for Barcelona. There is really a serious problem for Barcelona in the midfield area. Xavi is preferring 3 midfielders in the middle and the number of options in the squads isn't so many. This can turn into a serious problem if they struggle with injuries.

I think Barcelona should focus on bringing some midfielders in January. Even one player can be very helpful in a worrying situation. They want to play big in the La Liga and Champions League both I assume. Then they should be ready in every way.

The probability of Eddie Howe to get sacked would increase quite much if they go on like this for a long time of course. However for now he must have a really good amount of credit for Newcastle. Because he had a huge role in this team to finish the season in top four and make it to the Champions League group stage directly.

Newcastle had an average level of squad actually but they did this tough work anyway. They need to start showing this high level team effort again. The next game against Brentford home should be a point to start from. I will be expecting a convincing win from Newcastle.

I'm really curious about Juventus' performance throughout the season. It is a really important season to determine Allegri's future probably as well. Because the previous season was like a nightmare to them and they need to make progress like finishing the season in top four at least. This isn't a thing that is too difficult to achieve for them on paper.

If it weren't for that points deduction previously they were already going to finish ahead of Milan. Now their look in the games is even better so hopefully they can maintain a good form this season. A team like Juventus deserve to be a part of the Champions League now.

Of course the Champions League title is the ultimate goal for PSG. It was the same for Manchester City as well and they finally made it. But their team performance really deserved to win that title. However we haven't been able to watch a good level of team performance by PSG consistently. This is why they are even having big issues to getting close to the finale.

This season PSG are even more unpredictable. They will be much more dependent on Mbappe after Messi and Neymar have left. If we don't see them cutting this dependance as much as possible and focus on team play instead then I won't be expecting them to achieve anything in the Champions League.

There is only one day left for a big game in the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich are hosting Leverkusen and they are the clear favourite of course. This is going to be Xabi Alonso's second game against Bayern Munich here. In the first one they were really successful as they beat them home by a comeback.

However in Allianz Arena things will be much more difficult. He wasn't here when they lost to Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena by 4-0 last season. I wonder whether we can see some improvement in their resistance level at least. But as I still believe Bayern Munich will win I don't want to miss nice odds like 1.57 for the win.
