Klopp was offered the manager position at Germany national team but he rejected this offer. I'm not surprised with his answer though because there isn't any reason for him to leave Liverpool right now. He wouldn't like to manage 2 teams at the same time either. I think he has done the right thing for himself.

Because Liverpool should be his main concern right now. The previous season didn't went well for Liverpool you know. They are really expected to make a serious improvement this season like a fight for the league title. He wouldn't like to increase his workload now.

These clubs are equal. It's hard to pick which club that will be able to perform better during the group stage. I don't wanna mention lens and sevilla caused by im still waiting for them to make their miracle.
The possibility for the result of this group is arsenal or PSV will be on the first and second position.

Honestly I don't think these teams are really equal. Because that was the Europa League before anything else. Arsenal wouldn't show the same performance there and in the Champions League. The Champions League is the most prestigious tournament in Europe and I will be expecting Arsenal to care about it the same as the Premier League.

Therefore I think Arsenal will win their home game against PSV by at least two goals. Maybe the game in Netherlands would be tougher but I still expect Arsenal to play way better than the last game between them there. Arsenal can collect 6 points against PSV in my opinion.

Lecce have been one of the interesting teams in the 3 games they played so far. They got 4 points in total from Fiorentina and Lazio which is a great work by them. In the end there is a big quality gap between these teams on paper. Lecce really knows how to deal with Lazio recently because they didn't lose to them in their last 4 head-to-head games.

Next time Lecce's opponent is going to be Monza in an away game. With the help of this good start they can win this game as well. But I'm curious about how long they can keep this good form. It won't be easy for them at all in a tough league like the Serie A.

This season started pretty bad for Newcastle by the way. That win over Aston Villa by 5-1 told me much more different things actually but the games after that ended up with really poor results. I know that these games were all challenging ones including the one against Brighton. But Newcastle should have performed better anyway.

For example they could have done better against a Liverpool playing with 10 players. But instead they couldn't do anything against that comeback. In the same way I would have expected them to be more competitive against Brighton but it didn't happen either. They had better figure out what is wrong as soon as possible.

Croatia are about to take the lead in Group D despite playing one less games than Turkey now. Because they are 1-0 ahead against Armenia with an early goal already. I don't think this game will be difficult for Croatia at all. They should be able to do what Turkey couldn't against Armenia most recently.

Turkey really deserved to lose the lead to Croatia after that result. But let's see what will happen in their next game which is against Croatia. It will be important for Turkey to consolidate their place in top 2 in the end. They will start playing under the management of a new manager soon too. Therefore I'm curious about that game but Croatia would still be one step ahead.

Lyon's being the worst started team in the league has come as a big surprise that's for sure. However they are still Lyon at the end of the day. They are one of the most prestigious teams in the Ligue 1 so I expect them to find a way to improve their from as soon as possible. But this is still not a good sign for another thing.

I mean they can risk their chance for European tournaments again. It is still early in the season though but this isn't the first time they are doing this. The previous season didn't end up well for them in terms of qualification for a European tournament. If they don't become consistent after an improvement there would be the same scenario again for sure.

Verratti is said to have reached an agreement with Qatari team Al Arabi. They have been after him for a long time and finally managed to agree terms. Verratti could have continued in Europe as well actually. Because I think he was still a quality midfielder and not too old yet either. But he is leaving Europe soon as it seems.

Maybe there were offers from Europe as well but I don't think they managed to match Al Arabi's offer. It is really hard to do so considering how much money Arabian teams have spent on players so far. Anyway PSG must be happy to sell him in time as they weren't thinking of giving him a place in the team anymore.

By the way I don't follow MotoGP often but I wanted to watch Bagnaia's first race after the incident happened previously. Despite a bike ran over his leg he was still amazing in his next race. He finished on podium which really deserved to be appreciated in my opinion. He is a really ambitious rider.

We have entered a new race week in Formula 1 as well. This time we are going to watch Singapore GP. The last race here in 2022 was really like a nightmare for Verstappen. There was rain and Verstappen was able to finish only at the 7th position. Rain is expected again in Singapore this week so it can be a pretty interesting race. Grin

Lamine Yamal started to shine really early and this is great for his career of course. He has been selected for Spain national team already and he even scored a goal on his debut. What more could he have wanted than this? He will probably continue to be a starting eleven member at Barcelona for a long time.

It depends on keeping his performance level decent of course. This isn't going to be easy for a 16-year-old player though. He is very inexperienced but he can get a lot of experience by finding many chances at this young age in a big team like Barcelona.

First Mason Greenwood and now Antony... Manchester United are really unlucky to deal with this kind of problems as well. There are even memes out on the internet related to these news. It is just interesting to see this kind of incidents in the same team recently. As far as I know Greenwood is in the clear now too.

I hope the Red Devils don't have incidents like this anymore in the future. They should be able to just concentrate on their game to improve from now on. Because things aren't going on well for them these days. The players should be prevented from being demoralized.

I don't give any chance to Genoa against Napoli in their next game. Their winning over Lazio shouldn't mislead anyone. Lazio didn't start the season well as they lost to Lecce as well. Otherwise Lazio would have also beaten them easily. Genoa isn't a big competition for Napoli obviously.

Besides Napoli will be expected to make up for the Lazio loss as well. I will be expecting a comfortable win by Napoli by at least two goals here. Napoli are also one of the most competitive teams for the title this season again. This kind of games shouldn't be a big deal for them.

Victor Boniface transfer has turned out to be a really good one for Leverkusen already now. Because he has scored 4 goals in 3 games already. He didn't have very impressive scoring statistics before though. But Leverkusen must have signed him thinking like he is a promising player.

He is only 22 years old now and there is a long time ahead of him improve his skills much more. If he maintains this solid effort throughout the season he would increase his market value very much. In the long term Leverkusen can make a big profit in his probable transfer to a bigger team.

The upcoming game week starts with a PSG - Nice game. This should technically be a comfortable game for PSG considering that they have started to find their rhythm. They scored 7 goals in total against Lens and Lyon in their last 2 games and they were really decent at defending at the same time.

Mbappe's contribution in this is just huge obviously and he will be the most relied player here as well. Nice finally got their first win after 3 draws. However they are very likely to get their first loss. Mbappe should be continuing to score and PSG should be winning this one.

It looks like Tottenham's winning streak will be 4 games by their upcoming game against Sheffield home. This is an amazing way to start a season for Tottenham. Kane's leaving the team hasn't affected them negatively because they are playing more effective as a team right now. It seems like there is a good relationship with their new manager.

While his system is working well for the team this is another game they should be winning comfortably. They scored 5 goals against Burnley away. I wouldn't be surprised if they do a similar thing against Sheffield as well. Tottenham are eager to be in a title race this time as it seems.

The surprising result of the day was in the Albania - Poland game of course. I didn't expect Poland to lose this game honestly. They were the favourite side to win and they already beat Albania once. But things went really wrong for Poland in this game. They had a goal disallowed due to offside as well before Albania scored their first goal.

If that wasn't offside maybe we were going to talk about a different result. Poland were just really bad at finding the target today. They had so many goal attempts but only one shot on target. This prevented them from answering Albania with a goal. Now Albania have captured an important advantage in the group.

However they have a pretty tough game next time which is against Lazio. But the game is in Turin which can be a good advantage. I know how Lazio beat Napoli away recently. But when it comes to Juventus' home games against Lazio I see that Lazio can't beat them in the league since 2017. I think Juventus can maintain this unbeaten streak. I expect a win by one goal gap.

Martin Odegaard is really a player to admire. This must be one of the best signings for Arsenal honestly. They signed him from Real Madrid for only 35 million euros. Now he has increased his market value to 90 million euros at the age of 24 already.

Even Real Madrid must be really surprised to see his development this much.

He has been one of the most consistent players in Arsenal squad. That's why his value is increasing gradually. He is surely the second most important player for Arsenal right after Saka. He should definitely be kept for longer years. Arsenal aren't poor so they can pay him what he wants.

I was not expecting to see Harry Kane saying these about Tottenham at all.

He said this to point out the significant difference between Tottenham and Bayern Munich. He indicated that it is top team mentality to win as many games as possible. Even when you lose one game you can be under pressure. It is a good thing that he says this actually because it is really the truth.

Tottenham have never been under pressure to become competitive for the Premier League title. Because it isn't a realistic goal for them considering their history so far. But if you are playing for a team like Bayern Munich you had better do your best to win and be praised by people.
