Considering the formation Ancelotti is using right now there is no way Joselu aren't playing. Because he needs 2 strikers in the attacking line and there are only two available right now. If Vinicius Junior didn't get injured he would have been in Joselu's place that's for sure. However this can at least be a chance for Joselu.

He scored a goal against Getafe. If he maintains this effort as much as possible he can compete really well with Rodrygo. When Vinicius Junior is back maybe we might even see Joselu beside him. But this task isn't going to be easy considering Rodrygo's playing really good too.

Lukaku's contribution can play an important role this season. While Abraham is injured Lukaku should make use of this time period by scoring as many goals as possible. He is back in Italy again even though the team he is at isn't Inter. I don't expect him to perform incredibly well of course. But he can be quite beneficial with his goal or assist contribution.

Roma would really make use of a big improvement in the attacking line. Their defense line isn't in a great shape for now and they can make up for that by being more productive.

Wolfsburg are also decent for now. I remember them not far from the relegation zone in the 2021/22 season. But they have started to make a good progress after that. Now maybe they can be even more competitive for European tournaments. Because they finished the previous season at a really good position which must have improved the expectations too.

Top 6 teams join these tournaments and the competition would be tough for that as usual. It won't be easy for Wolfsburg. The youngster Jonas Wind is really impressive so far with 4 goals in 3 games. He can play an important role in case of a good success.

North Macedonia have really become a nightmare for Italy in the recent years. Because first their elimination by them in the World Cup qualification phase and now this result in the qualifiers for Euro 2024 this time. That goal came in the last ten minutes ruined Italy's plans and they couldn't answer in the same way.

I don't know how they do it but it seems like North Macedonia have figured out how to deal with a much stronger team like Italy. But there is still no problem for Italy in the group as there are many more games to play. They can still easily get past Ukraine in a couple of games.

Actually you have a point there. However I don't know what the reason was behind his being released by Leicester. I mean was it due to Leicester's seeing him an unnecessary player? Or was that because of Tielemans' not wishing to play for Leicester anymore? If it is the latter then Leicester had really nothing to do about his being free agent.

If this is the reason then I hope Aston Villa give him a second chance to shine again. If he doesn't meet the expectations anyway then there is no need to push more.

Exactly. Especially the previous season performance in the Champions League was really poor as they were able to collect only 5 points and finished at the last position. Atletico Madrid aren't a weak team with a squad like this. They have a much bigger potential in the Champions League like they did in the past.

This season the group stage should be much more comfortable for them. Lazio, Feyenoord and Celtic are all teams that Atletico Madrid can deal with nicely. This is more like a Europa League group actually.    Atletico Madrid should be finishing as the leader.

Roma's next game is against Empoli home and I will be expecting a clear win by them. They started with 0 win in 3 games so far and this is really worrying. Mourinho is expected to improve the success of this team but now they are far away from that point. It is of course the beginning of the season but the earlier they improve the better.

Because if they maintain an inconsistent performance in the first half of the season it would be much more difficult to reach their goal in the league. They would surely be expected to finish the season in top four to make a real improvement.

Union Berlin got a really big hit by Leipzig home the last time. If they didn't get that red card maybe things could have been better. Because Leipzig were comfortable to increase the goal gap with them after that red card. However I can still consider Union Berlin's start quite decent as they have collected 6 points.

They can be one of the teams being competitive for top 4 again if they keep consistent mostly. They are going to play in the Champions League at the same time so they will need to deal with their tight schedule well too. If they have a good balance I think we will watch decent performances from them in the Bundesliga.

Things are going on good for Arsenal at the beginning of the season. That point loss against Fulham despite Fulham's playing 10 players was really unexpected but they made up for that by a solid win against Manchester United. They can still improve their game more though because the win against the Red Devils wasn't easy actually.

Next time they have a game against Everton away which they should be winning definitely. Everton are still in the same situation. They are struggling a lot again and I don't think they can do well against Arsenal too. It is up to Arsenal to play dominant and get a comfortable win. I think they will do this.

Youri Tielemans is said to be really worried about his playing time now. Aston Villa have signed him on free transfer but interestingly they don't give him much playing time. I don't think he deserves this considering his skillset. He should be given more time to play to show his skills. He is still a quite young midfielder.

It would be good for him to play longer to find himself once again after leaving Leicester. He isn't a bad player in the end. If things continue like this for a long time I don't think his time of being a part of Aston Villa team will be that much long. His contract is until 2027 for now.

Turkey's performance was horrible. They just can't make an excuse for this performance. Kuntz is responsible for this honestly and I believe he will be leaving the job soon as well. You just can't play this bad against an opponent which you are much better than on paper. They were nearly losing the game.

Fatih Terim can really take over once again as he is like the best candidate for the job now. Even if Turkey manage to qualify for Euro 2024 with this system I don't expect much thing from them there. They need a better team play than this.

Manchester United have made a really worrying start to the season. Now their next opponent is Brighton. Maybe the game is going to be played in Old Trafford but this still doesn't change the fact that it won't be easy at all. Brighton look far better than them in performance at the moment. It doesn't matter for them when it comes to playing away.

They are strong in away games as well. While their attacking side is really powerful I wonder whether the Red Devils can deal with them well in defense. I just think there is no way they aren't conceding a goal here and they need a win to improve their results too. Both teams to score might be my first option for this game for now.

This game has been postponed by the way. After heavy rain it was postponed and it isn't going to be played in the upcoming fixture. Atletico Madrid are going to play an away game against Valencia instead. About this game I just expect no surprises. Valencia made a good start first but their last two performances were bad.

Atletico Madrid should be able to take advantage of their vulnerabilities and continue to win. On the other hand Sevilla have a home game against Las Palmas. Hopefully they can get their first win after getting three losses already.

We are only a week away from a Milano derby. Inter and Milan are going to play a really early game against each other. Considering how great both sides have started to the season it is pretty difficult to tell who can win. Bookmakers are showing Inter as the favourite side. But I think the margin is quite small.

Both teams are great at defending and attacking at the moment. I think these teams will play an open game against each other for the win. This can bring about at least 3 goals as well in my opinion. If I'm to pick a side I assume I would pick Inter right now as I see them slightly ahead.

Dortmund would find a way to improve their results sooner or later. I don't see them making a great start mostly already. This kind of a start isn't something new for Dortmund. They still manage to be one of the top teams in the league no matter what. Bellingham's departure will of course affect them negatively.

But there are new players added to the squad who can also make a decent level of contribution. Honestly I don't think they can be in the title race until the last moments this time but they can at least maintain their existence in top four.

West Ham have made a big progress in the Premier League recently. They didn't have a good season in the league previously. David Moyes could have even got sacked after a poor performance there. However I think their winning the Europa Conference League title was the thing helping him gain more time.

It seems like he is taking advantage of this chance in a great way for now. Winning against Chelsea and Brighton by 3-1 was also very impressive work. But the important thing is how consistent they can be throughout the season. They would be expected to be competitive for a European tournament spot.

Can Atletico Madrid really improve this season? This is one of the topics I'm curious about. It is really important for Simeone's future with this team as well. If we see a similar performance this season as well then the board might not want to extend Simeone's contract. They should be able to stay in the title race somehow.

In the same way I hope to see them achieving a decent success in the Champions League as well. I already see them in last 16. However I think they should be able to reach at least the quarter finals. If they have a solid season like this then I'm pretty sure Simeone would be kept by them.

I was aware of Hungary's form until this game. However Serbia were still strongly the favourite team to win and I believed in that to happen as well. Now I just wish I didn't add their win to my parlay. Because despite getting ahead first they couldn't prevent Hungary's comeback in the first half.

The second half was quite silent about a goal and Hungary somehow managed to maintain their advantage. You shouldn't give this kind of a score advantage against a team like Hungary. They can be really good at benefiting from score advantages like in this example.

Lloris doesn't intend to leave Tottenham right now and Tottenham are said to be thinking of making him wait in the subs until January. He can even start to play for the reserve team according to the news. Vicario is the new main goalkeeper now. Tottenham made their plans according to Lloris' departure this summer.

He was expected to go back to where he started which was Nice. But this transfer didn't happen. He didn't go to Saudi Arabia either so here we are. In January I think he would find a team for himself after having no chance left for Tottenham's main squad.

Liverpool are keeping Salah just as most people expected them do so. Because the transfer window is closed in England so Liverpool can't bring any replacement for him right now. Salah should continue to be a part of Liverpool at least until the end of the season. What Messi was for Barcelona is exactly what Salah is for Liverpool now.

They need Salah to be successful this season. You remember how poor they performed for a long time in the previous season. They have made progress now and they need to maintain this good effort. We can see Liverpool in the title race again after some break.
