I did notice that too. It is stuck at $316-319 since yesterday, rising back then falling to that same price. That does seem weird to me. This would confuse most coiners whether to buy or sell , just not to lose too much now.

Would it be more profitable to buy on Chinese exchange and sell on US market? It would be harder for US based exchanges to trace those trades there, due to high trading volume.

Sounds easy Might give it a try once all details are established.

What the campaign manager last stated how you know if you are accepted in this campaign or not. Don't need to ask every second post if you are. Newbie accounts are still allowed to join. It is on the original message(OP) and code is available there as well.

I am from the Netherlands and also mine girl can prove there identity will create account with her identity when needed. Heard also about https://shapeshift.io but not sure if this is a good solution As far as I know Virwox.com don't ask for any kind of verification and they accept Visa & MasterCard , so you should be able to buy bitcoins from there without any issues .
how trustful is this? I have used shapeshift when I needed to exchange my alternative coins to bitcoins. It was fast but they rates are high. You pay for the speed. Not noticible unless you are sticky about losing about $0.10 on a $1.20 transaction from litecoin to bitcoin. This will vary with the market price of course. That is an example from when used last March, but it was sent fast to my wallet. If you want quick and anonymous - no account needed it is on the fly, then this is a good solution for you.

I guess you just proved that they can actually be interested in bitcoin! The real challenge is to get girls interested in me, not in Bitcoin. I apologize for the inconvenience but I could not let this pass. Just make yourself more valuable. They will come to you, just as bitcoin.

To be kind to others. There is a thing called karma. It will follow you for the rest of your life what ever you decide to do in a situation. Good or bad.

If its bitx.co, then i dont believe anyone goes there, the volume is nothing, compared to btc-e. Still btc-e is one of the few bigplayers in the world of exchanges.
I like it but because of the changing relation to other exchanges. Its good to sell there coins to dollars when its close to bitstamp, and in case of coin-need,buy back after a few days when the coins are much cheaper at btc-e than anywhere else. Sure you can only do that when you park funds in several exchanges.
to this introspect of them. I am pretty sure you will get a not to nice Pm from their admin here. Even if it's true.

BTC-E has been like this for years. As mentioned above in one of the previous posts, it might have something to do with the fact that it is fairly difficult to get fiat currency into your account there. If I want to have a certain amount of fiat currency there, I just deposit BTC and sell it there to get $ in return. I have been doing this since early 2013. Best and fastest manner if you ask me.
Ah this is why it is so behind the others exchanges that were mentioned. Always wondered why the bridge between the others were so long to this one. Thanks for the answer to this mystery to me.

The article is actually negative on Bitcoin as a currency, even though it likes the blockchain technology.
This can only be expected from a magazine that sells itself as a champion of free markets but just happens to love the dollar and American hegemony at every turn.
What do you expect from a Capitalist publication? Praise and promotion for this emerging enemy to the US dollar

It could be if there was a uniform way to move it fluidly from one form to another. Until that happens I don't see it happening in the foreseeable future.

It certainly has been a rough year for Bitcoin but I'm beginning to think the price of Bitcoin is on a steady incline. I think we are finally beginning to see Bitcoin start to bounce back and become a new standard currency.
You can say that again. I read that one guy bought March of 2014 and just now in the past week has made some thing off his buy of a few coins. That would certainly be a long year of distrust to me in an emerging entity. I would have given up on them after 1 solid year, so I would of sold them at $219 just to try to break even seeing it as an investment that failed. Bravo to the ones who stuck with it thus far. Salute to you

Would this be a pump to go up to $400?
I think sudden jump from 250 range to 400 is not good. Because this is more than 50% jump in short period so it may not survive at that high price for long time. It is always slow and study movements can survive for long time. If it goes to 400 range then I will sell my 50% bitcoins and then wait for lower price to buy. I like this explanation. Thanks for the insightful suggestions to watch out for. I thank you.

What is it their business what you do with your coins as long as they get paid?!
It sounds that you have it linked to your bank account to be able to sell what you win. But still, they could say it is illegal activity if the amounts are high. Suspect of money laundering ? Can't see that as they see where the funds are coming from. Is it in their TOS that gambling is not allowed using their services?

http://bitcoinist.net/ibm-integrate-weather-channel-data-blockchain-technology/Digital assets of The Weather Company has been acquired by data giant IBM, a company that is also invested in blockchain technology. Part of this deal sees the weather.com website, together with several other ventures, change hands. The ever popular Weather Channel is not part of this agreement, as the television network will become independent from now on. What does IBM want to do with the weather now? Control it as they could not with their attempts in other ventures.
