2021  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 1850 BTC on: October 29, 2015, 07:09:09 AM
$ 580,000, legitimate money is in my account duly certified by the ministry of finance.

Come on then lets see this certification you supposedly have?  Grin
Calling bullS#1t on this story unless proof is given. I doubt anyone on this forum will do this deal with out it. Too risky for both parties involved. You need a lawyer son! Better call Saul Grin
2022  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happened to turtlehurricane? on: October 29, 2015, 04:30:35 AM
Last I saw he was a hero member with neutral trust offering currency exchange for credit cards. Before that I saw him in the QS escrow drama. Now he is a full member with 4 negatives stating that he defaulted on a loan, what did I miss?

He is not a hero member. It shows him as a Full member.
Activity shows it under hero member stats.
2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 29, 2015, 04:22:41 AM
I think that since newegg implemented the bitcoin payment method,
The price has started to be increased, hope i am right.
Otherwise if amazon ebay and other big e-commerce companies will implement there would be a good advertisement for bitcoin.
yeah you right, bitcoin payment method it is helpful to the promotion
hey Amazon seems have been using bitcoin as a payment method right ?
Amazon does not currently accepct bitcoin directly on their website, but you can buy Amazon products with bitcoins using a service like purse dot io
this is their official thread, check this out
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307922.0

i think if amazon used bitcoin officially, that would be a great promotion for bitcoin
It will eventually happen.
I think if they offered it on their products that are not performing too well like the kindle or services for their Fire network, then people would accept them more. Bitcoin adaptation for those would peak the interest of the more tech savvy people having a more viable option to buy them over Apple products and services.
2024  Economy / Gambling / Re: Safest method to double your coins? on: October 29, 2015, 04:13:51 AM
Let's see whats your safest method to double! Wink

My was Betting at Directbet on odds of 2+ but now it's Bitvest, not safest but still a safe play on red bar!
POST yours Cheesy

Betting on direct bets seriously ? The know which team is going to win and the odds are only good for the losing team ,there is no way you can double your money very easily on direct bets .To mention not but i tried doubling my money and got scammed by a ponzi scheme very recently.Check out btcgrow scam thread in Investor-based-games section. The best way to grow your btc's is to either do some legit stuff or take huge risks in gambling games .
Yeeah I saw that btc-grow thread. That is terrible way to lose any amount of coin.
Some other one I saw was raisebtc which says thy can double (210%) of your deposit. But that is just as risky as gambling. They can take your money and not pay you at the end of the 20 days they hold it for. Giving you 10% per day of your deposit is a joke. These investor based games owners are the only winners there.
2025  Economy / Gambling / Re: Safest method to double your coins? on: October 29, 2015, 04:09:27 AM
Sports betting has some good chance to make nice profit by betting there if you have good knowledge about playing and wise to choose a team to place bet than it is possible.
You can suggest any sites or threads here with good percentage of their picks?
2026  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think the life of a professional gambler is a glamorous one? on: October 29, 2015, 04:02:18 AM
I would think being a professional gambler would be a really stressful life. Not knowing if you can win the next day in order to win enough to eat.
That kind of life would make you be on edge all the time.
Gambling to me is you win you get out because you will lose eventually in the long run.
2027  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: "Fun game" to earn BTC on: October 29, 2015, 03:55:13 AM
Magic The Gathering, I don't know if a game like that exist with Bitcoin or not but I would love to see one where one can play and reach levels and score and based on that you can earn some bitcoins or trade cards or achievements to do the same. It involves no gambling and I don't think it would get botted.
Actually, yeah. I can see this working with bitcoin. I would definitely like to play this if it involved some monetary system.
2028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still safe to buy bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 03:53:04 AM
I would say buy now as well. You will regret it next month if you don't, as there are only 2 days left in the month  Wink
2029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did price of Bitcoin just go up a $1 in the last hour? on: October 29, 2015, 03:50:57 AM
I checked the price at 6pm CST and it was $303. Now it is $304.4
Never saw it just keep escalating and not dropping at all like this ever since I have been in this market for the past 6 months.
Always it would drop a bit then up then down a bit more. This is pretty exciting for the ones who bought some a week ago(like myself). It hasn't let up!

Found yer issue. Be warned it has a tendency to go down just as fast or faster in times like these.
All signs are pointing up. That is what I am saying in in OP, I have not seen a steady rise like this in my life of being in bitcoin, without a $1 decrease happening in these fluctuating periods.

If you're this excited already I wonder how you'd react if Bitcoin starts behaving like it did in 2011 or 2013.

Let's hope it happens.

Actually. I think my head would of exploded if I held more than 10BTC at any one time in those years. Those be called "The Wonder Years" of bitcoin.
Wouldn't you agree?
2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did price of Bitcoin just go up a $1 in the last hour? on: October 29, 2015, 03:45:30 AM
The price of bitcoin is up and Down around $1-$2, let see how much the price of bitcoin until the last minute  of September? It is go higher or it will go back to $298?
We are in October Cheesy
If we were still in September and I came back to the future(tm) then I would be a whale right now.  Grin

I have been following the market all day today on my second monitor. I have a Bitcoinwisdom opened all day... yes im a bit of a nerd. So what i've seen is small corrections every 2-3 dollars increase.. We had 303, 305.6, 308.something.. there were corrections each time. Someone took a big dump that pushed the price back to 2xx but the bull pressure is too strong, it seems 300 is looking like a solid floor.
Glad someone can confirm my observations with some concrete analysis.
So this is a sign that it will keep rising into next month. This is some positive insight if it is!
Usually with these small ticks then solid increases this would show it isn't just a normal fluctuation in the bitcoin price.
2033  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: "Fun game" to earn BTC on: October 28, 2015, 11:57:09 PM
Dragon tale but there is gambling, so that is a no.
I would like to see something like Second life but for bitcoins instead of lindens. That is what got me into cryptocurrencies in the first place, even before bitcoin.

Actually ask this guy:
http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/03/this-guy-makes-millions-playing-video-games-on-youtube/284402/

He would tell you which game is most appealing to the masses.
He has more followers than the biebs and Rihanna on youtube.

2035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Someone just won 52.800 BTC on Dragon's Tale on: October 28, 2015, 07:24:59 PM
 Wink
It's hard to believe someone won 52.800 bitcoins in a game with shittier graphics than Runescape  Cool
I was just thinking the same thing   Wink
I was expecting Dragon Age type graphics. What do you do in this game anyways? I would check but the graphics just turned me away from looking in to it any further.
What is with the suits?
The game looks like Sims and Farmville had a mutant offspring Cheesy
2036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: October 28, 2015, 07:03:35 PM
Yes if we have to based the current and past movement of the bitcoin price this month, rising even @ $400 mark is possible. But IMO the important here is we must hold longer @ $300 mark before jumping to much high prices.

Indeed , I couldn't agree more with you , It's not very stable at the 300$ price , it's something like 297$ - 302$ so we should at least rise to something like 10$ to be "safe" .
I totally agree. This teetering on $299 all afternoon is deafening if you are waiting to sell.
Once it stays at $302-310 then we can breath a sign of relief since there is 2.5 days left until this month is over
2037  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC halving effect started @ October 2015 on: October 27, 2015, 02:50:18 AM
Too much premature exuberance over a small price increase. Please curb your enthusiasm. This $50 increase over a month is nothing to crow about. This increase can easily back track down to $250-200 any minute. This whole thing smells of pump&dump.
You can see the effects now. $295 then falling back to 285 then slowly climbing pack to $290. This does look like a pump 'n dump.
