1761  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 23, 2015, 12:21:05 AM
I am wondering if Fruitbasket has kept to his word and has not gambled since he started this thread.
I know it is hard and I myself have not stopped putting some bitcoin into gambling, even if I keep saying "This is the last time!", I know this will not come to fruition. Gambling is a hard cycle to break and just saying it on  a forum will not make it so.

In order to win, you must first learn how to lose.

That probably doesn't make any sense. Anyway, as someone else posted above, learn how to play poker if you want to gamble. Poker is skill-based. As such, the more you improve your skills, the more likely you are to win. It takes time, but the opportunity is there if you put in the work.

Good Luck in the future.
Learn to lose, what do you really mean by this? Nobody has enough to do a trial and error on gambling sites.
How do you propose one would do this if they don't have enough to begin in gambling to begin with?
I would say poker to start would be a losing situation for a newbie to the gambling world since there are so many gamblers that play poker as a full time job and they would lose so fast playing against them.
1764  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Have] $159 PayPal <> [Need] BTC on: December 17, 2015, 06:42:09 PM
Hey there!

I have a verified PayPal account with $159 available to exchange. I need some BTC ASAP, I can pay as gift to legit
and trusted exchangers.

I need this done ASAP!

you are not gonna get this one here i wont do paypal with even a higher member rank unless he have a good trust rating

and a newbie account which was just made for posting this tread no i dont think so
He did do this and paid the price. Not even a hero/lengendary member to do this transaction with paypal you wouldn't do it? How much trust rating would they need to have to do this transaction with? You are hero already so I can't see you running off with $159 as you account is worth more than that.
1765  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Any one try bloombtc? on: December 17, 2015, 06:37:56 PM
this site is still operational,, actually paid me this day:  https://blockchain.info/tx/99078f8bfd734f3cb8f68943104d7de5b78b3b4c906f4cd2e5a9d4dce381fb50

You simply created this account to inform us that the site is still paying  Huh Huh.
Thank you for the info.
Now my confirmation is complete. It is not a site to put anything into if false claims are coming in too try andd bring in more victims to this scheme.
Appreciate this observation Noel57 Wink

In general there has been a lot of nervousness in markets ahead of the next FED meeting, where it is expected a raise in the USA interest rates. It seems likely an approach to $500 band, but not longer at least for this 2015.
It is starting to look it is not going to reach that mark this year. A lot of doom and gloom from the US news about the interest rate hike and high debut loads on the American consumers. It is not looking so good now and that always affects the bitcoin price in an adverse way.
1767  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Any one try bloombtc? on: December 17, 2015, 05:27:46 AM
I tried it, it paid me, seems very well designed doesn't advertise outrageous interest rates either.  Looks to be pretty stable.  Invest at your own risk though.
So you still getting paid from this site?
It has been awhile and wanting to know if it is still operational or just a dead site now.
Was going to start a thread asking about it but did a search and came across this outdated topic.
Hopefully someone can give me some feedback before I place any bits into this Ponzi  Cheesy
1768  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Have] $159 PayPal <> [Need] BTC on: December 17, 2015, 05:24:18 AM
Why did this guy not heed the words transcribed by so many. Do not deal with untrusted members here on this forum, they will take your money especially from a paypal transaction.
This could of been avoided if you deal with HERO members and up to be safe from this to have happening to you.
1769  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: December 17, 2015, 03:12:27 AM
I did hear about this story and was in shock when I just read how much you got for it.
When I saw spotted it briefly I just saw the headline of house for sale for bitcoin but didn't know how much you sold it for. Over 2 years later, I am astounded how much you got for it.
I do hope you held on to it for that long and haven't spent it or put it into any shady investment scams.
Well wishing and happy holidays too you, the price of it now should be a well deserved Christmas gift to you!
1770  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Have] $159 PayPal <> [Need] BTC on: December 16, 2015, 11:44:03 PM
Why don't you do this deal with this guy?
http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1292128.0

I don't think having a verified account can safe you from a charge back. But sending as a gift doesn't do anything either just saves on the high fees paypal charges.
1771  Economy / Economics / Re: CNN: Money is flying out of China on: December 15, 2015, 08:17:19 PM
Yes this might be one of the reasons why chinese exchanges are running like hell since weeks.
Good for Bitcoin! The chinese aren't that dumb or naive as the greeks.
When shit hits the fence you have to be prepared!Or better to feather one's own nest!
This is probably the reason why we see the rise of bitcoin price. China is at it again  Cheesy
Didn't really see the connection before to China being a direct contributor to the increase in price by so much. It does in fact have a direct correlation to other currencies as the article states that the trading of foreign currencies leaving their shores is the cause. This I can see it being the reason.
1772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 450$ today. share your views guys on: December 15, 2015, 06:46:51 AM
Bitcoin reached 454$  Smiley Smiley :)Please share your views and future bump and dump about BTC price...

If there is any apparent reason of this pump then I can't seem to see it . However ... I'd say that the price won't reach 500$ in the next two weeks (before the end of December) but there is chances that we will start the new year with 500$++ within the first couple of weeks of January , price should continue to rise slowly and we may see pump when we are too close from the halving block reward date . (Let's say June) .
Some are saying this is the reason:
http://www.coindesk.com/how-deloitte-rubix-blockchain-tech

As always good news is always welcome and usually a sign for the drastic bump up in price. It is took quite a drastic jump now as I just finished reading the article. People spending in this currency at this time does help too for driving it up.
1773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC going permanently over 500$ in december 2015? on: December 14, 2015, 04:50:20 AM
From what I have seen so far I would say a definite yes. The price is steady and not jumping to much at one time. That is a good growth and it will hit that mid kilo mark and stay that way into the new year.
This is my prediction from what I have been analysing so far from charts of the past month. Since the last big surge at the beginning of November.
1774  Economy / Exchanges / Re: prepaid card that can be topped up with btc. on: December 13, 2015, 07:12:00 PM
xapo has a prepaid card and coinbase will be releasing one to all states soon(it only works in some for now).
wagecan has on but don't know if it is prepaid but it can used at a btc atm.
1775  Economy / Economics / Re: China currency and effects on BTC on: December 13, 2015, 07:06:50 AM
I can't see an entire country relying on bitcoin at the moment, especially a country as large as China.
That is an immense under taking if they are suggesting getting rid of their currency so to make way for a new all digital currency. They have the infrastructure in place, at least in the large metropolitan cities, to incorporate this endeavour but the smaller cities will not be ready technological wise. That would take decades to make the whole country bitcoin friendly and accessible to everyone, even the farmers and the elderly people.
1776  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Most used online wallet is blockchain.info? on: December 13, 2015, 07:00:35 AM
I would say the most used web based bitcoin wallet would have to be Xapo then coinbase.
Xapo has giveaways all the time and are really fast. They have teamed up with Cevo an online gaming network to make it more fun when dealing with them as opposed to coinbase where they just keep your coins. You can also buy and sell from there as well.
Those are the two most popular.
I have also heard of hive and rushwallet but they aren't used as much as the above ones mentioned.
1777  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase does not have email support on: December 13, 2015, 12:56:51 AM
I am not a fan of coinbase and I would certainly not recommend them. If you got a problem with their support mailing and keep stalking them once a day, is the fastest way to get your ticket resolved, sure they will become angry but at least your problem will be resolved.
I think Coinbase has become too big and can not handle the massive influx of users all the sudden.
They keep running promotions for new members to join by giving them free bitcoins such as $60 worth of btc one time, but it seems they haven't prepared themselves to offer support for all these new clients. They can not deal with all them with the same amount of staff they had 8 months ago.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 13, 2015, 12:43:57 AM
Haven't heard of ethereum before but now looking at this micro computer it looks interesting.
Glad I stumbled upon this and will be reading those books mentioned above. I will definitely be investing into this project further.
Will have something to do during the holiday break now and know what I will asking for this Christmas.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin get faster transactions like Litecoin? on: December 13, 2015, 12:40:13 AM
That would never happen as litecoin is less established and does not have as much as a client base as the number of bitcoin users and transactions have a wide gap between the two.
I had a litecoin client running last year and it was lightening quick to receive those confirmations. I can't imagine that speed would of changed as it would of progressed by now. But bitcoin on the other hand would now be slower than the same time last year due to the saturation of users and transactions going out in that time.
1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arcade machine? on: December 13, 2015, 12:34:37 AM
I would think this would revive the arcade machines in a big way.
Now that everybody has either an xbox or PlayStation those have virtually killed going to the arcades to play them and not to mention the emulators.
Having this new innovation combined with the old classic nostalgia would be a good marriage I would have to say to reinvent itself and appeal to the next generation of gamers.
I really miss playing Rampage at the arcade hall. Undecided
