2061  Economy / Speculation / Re: What 2016 holds for Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2015, 03:48:31 PM
Everybody says it will go up. Very optimistic outlook.
The new year always does bring this view to anything we look to in the future.
I feel like buying now and being so optimistic about it's growth.
2062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin's logo color be gold, and not orange? on: October 19, 2015, 03:43:58 PM
I'm okay with orange color. Why gold? I think changing something already established makes sense only if you are going to make it much better than before. So why gold is much better than orange?
Orange seems to be a good starting point. Just look at the mcdonald's logo. It was started off yellow then eventually once the brand got stuck into everybodies brains, it became synonyms as the "Golden arches".
In my mind it is an evolution of a brand to change with it's image in people's minds. But bitcoin is far from the gold standard. Maybe when it reaches it's peak again, then the general public will view it alot more valuable. We view it so now because of it's innovation, not it's nominal value like the masses are patiently waiting for it to emerge again to grab on too.
2063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will grow, if we create opportunities for people to earn it. on: October 19, 2015, 03:41:59 PM
i agree that it would be more effective if we create ways for people to earn bitcoin as they earn fiat but i don't think it still can be that much effective. because there still would be many problems with bitcoin which needs fixing first. like these attacks on network which is delaying all of our transactions every now and then. or the price which is not stable.
on top of that where are they going to spend their bitcoins that they have worked for to earn? they would have to change it back to fiat and then spend or use a third party and pay extra fees to use their bitcoin.
With everything, there is always a period where things are not ironed out and it's use is hard to work with.
It will just take more time for these problems that bitcoin faces to be amended then it's use will be more widely used accepted.
2064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: October 19, 2015, 03:33:28 PM
The government.

I don't believe that governments are doing anything at the moment to stop people using bitcoins. Even the most strict governments as China and Russia still haven't done anything major that would cripple this technology.

Yes, everybody has issued warnings, etc, but this is nothing compared to what they can really do if they want to, the governments.
I don't think the government has any problems with bitcoin. They don't see it as a threat to what they are doing, that being running their our countries.
The problem lies with the people that use it and what they are using it for. If it is against their laws then of course they will come down on those individuals just not by the means on which they came to possess such things.
2065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 19, 2015, 03:28:07 PM
Of course there is, many people earn 1BTC per hour, Not 1USD.
I love your answer. Can you show me the way, or at least share some tips how to be one of these highly established individuals?
Of course if your way is a legal and honest way, and not another ponzi scam or something.
1 btc per hour? Maybe for someone running a gambling website but for a normal person i don't think so...
Waiting for your answer mistermoney show us how to earn even 0.1 btc/hour
0.1btc per hour would only be possible if you have a job that pays you in bitcoin or are lucky at the roulette wheel for an hour but the next hour you would lose it.
2066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 19, 2015, 03:21:57 PM
i will vote for Nope it's just some pumpers and dumpers manipulating the price
because the price has stopped rising now and the last is $271 at Coinbase and i'm pretty sure highest price in this month is only around $270-$280
I do remember it being $295 during the early summer but then tumbled. It just can't break that $300 mark that everybody is wanting.
2067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the commercial banks must hate bitcoin? on: October 19, 2015, 03:18:41 PM
Commercial banks hate Bitcoin because this will replace current financial system and offer more efficient and cost effective and faster transaction with more freedom.Banks use people's money from deposits to invest in other schemes to earn much more once Bitcoin goes mainstream there will not be only Bitcoin but also many digital currencies will put banking system in danger.

I think this might be one reason , banks use the deposits to invest it and make profit, but they use only fiat currencies till now, they have doubts about bitcoin transactions and thought it's "virtual" enough to be risky
This makes complete sense. The banks can not handle it's virtuosity so they just want to see it obliterated.
It sound's more like a war then economics.
2068  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitGold.com IS COMPLETELY SCAM on: October 19, 2015, 03:12:14 PM

I would never believe this.
2069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: October 19, 2015, 03:06:25 PM
For the tech savvy there are plenty of uses for it and it's use is easy.
There are a lot of companies accepting it and even the ones not using it, there are ways around for it's use.
I think there will always be fear associated with something new and being uninformed about.
It will take time for the other 95% of people to see it as another way of paying for goods and services and not a rival as the other companies see it now.
2070  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Video: Solar-powered Bitcoin Mining farm on: October 19, 2015, 02:58:53 PM
Very cool idea and that's one way to cut out the electricity use. Most turn away from mining because of the high electricity costs, me included. This brings it back to my to do lists now.
2071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we help Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2015, 02:56:36 PM
Use it more in your everyday life.
Buy your groceries, clothes, food and entertainment with it.
The more it is circulated and used the more exposure of it's multiple ways of use will flourish.
2072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the commercial banks must hate bitcoin? on: October 17, 2015, 08:17:26 PM
There are many reasons for what banks hate Bitcoin but some of them I will tell which are more important ones.Banks are running on commissions for different services like deposit and transfers funds for payments.Bitcoin gives more flexibility to deposit in your own wallet and fast and cost effective transfers facility. It is normal bankers will hate to anything it is not just about Bitcoin which compete with them.
If banks did not run on commission they would all go out of business. Such a shame that would be  Roll Eyes

2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on: October 17, 2015, 07:29:06 PM
But in blackjack, you must bet large to make a profit. I noticed if you bet the minimum on multiple hands you will never leave with more than you started with.

You can make a profit if you have a good balance to recover your loss. No need to play multiple hands to get profit. Play one hand you can get enough profit. Blackjack is easy game to play and it is easy to win too, you just need to find your luck and slowly play to get some profit
No, I don't mean multiple hands on the same table. I meant one position, small bet, and doing it round after round without increasing your wager. That is impossible to make a profit because that would mean being lucky almost every hand. I play this way because my bank roll is small and I win 3/10 hands and don't walk away with anything more than what I started. I increase wager only after I win 2 hands at the minimum bet.
2075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending VERY Large Amounts of Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2015, 02:00:05 AM
In my country its hard to withdraw that very high cost because theres a wallet cashout limit in my country maybe i can withdraw only 5 btc per day directly to my bank account but above 5 btc we need to verify our address verification but the limit is only 20btc perday...
This is not good for bitcoin. It should limitless to compete with the banks hold on our money.
I do still believe bitcoin should be a "free" way to pay for things.

2077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about Bitcoin, Visa, Mastercard and Paypal on: October 16, 2015, 08:50:29 PM
I don't think so, I would say in the near future Bitcoin will still have no chance to displace the Visa, Mastercard or Paypal.
It is a method not a processor, so no in my opinion.
Work itself into these groups and everybody wins. Match made in heaven. Can finally pay off those credit card debits.   Wink
2078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the commercial banks must hate bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 08:47:23 PM
I would think compatibility issues and the fees don't go to them.
At first I thought they would see it as a threat but bitcoin is incorporating itself into everything that we do online now. So they will eventually have to work with it in the long run or lose more business.

2080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 16, 2015, 08:40:27 PM
of course yesss Smiley
im sure we can it $300 at this month,
look bitcoin price now stable ~260 , next week bitcoin will be stable at ~270 maybe ~280  Grin

Do you have any news or information on why you think that's the case? Nothing I see can cause a jump in BTC prices by that much.

Perhaps it's trading on the news of January 3, 2009, ehh?

To state it a different way, perhaps bitcoin is trading on its' fundamentals
Which are exactly? Maybe some perspective on this would answer the OP question instead of everybody throwing in their two cents.
