1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 28, 2015, 08:33:42 AM
Yes I am holding my Bitcoins for price increase.
XT just sucks. I paid my Internet bills With bitcoins bit now I have to use fiat to do so because of the falling prices.
You can pay your internet use with bitcoin now, which country are you in? I am in a first world country and they don't allow us to do that. Well yet anyways.
The future hasn't arrived for us as our economic ways are still in the 90's.
1742  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Never trust an online wallet, for those who don't know on: December 28, 2015, 08:27:49 AM
I trust Coinbase... Why not? There's not a problem with trusting them.
Many have complained about having their coinbase accounts locked. But usually it comes down to them using it for online gambling sites which is not allowed in the united states where coinbase main site is located. That can get there whole company in trouble if the feds know they are enabling their clients to fund accounts for the use of gambling online.
1743  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Never trust an online wallet, for those who don't know on: December 27, 2015, 08:05:47 PM
Online wallets are not for storage, everyone knows that.  They are a temporary place to use to collect and move funds for different reasons.  If you go to bed at night with more than a single BTC in an online wallet, then you are leaving it on the sidewalk for the next passerby.

But not everyone know or even care about it, especially beginner who try to use bitcoin, they want an instant method to have a wallet without research first about the security.

And that's the main problem.
I think over time as bitcoin grows an emphasis on not using online wallets will be more predominant then it is now.
Online wallets will always be needed for access of your bitcoins on the go. I don't see why online wallets are being downplayed as not being safe. I have used some on my app list for my mobile device and have not had a security issue. Just as long as they the creators of the wallet puts out updates then that should patch any issues from a security stand point.
1744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 26, 2015, 05:15:44 AM
hold bitcoin at bullish momenth then after stable sell it Roll Eyes
after it you can buy back at bearish moment

trade is good to growing your bitcoin

But I was not able to catch a good buying price to grow my bitcoin. I sold my coins $380 levels and I was expecting a good buying prices below $300, which never happened. Now I got forced to buy above $450 levels. Literally I have missed some $70 run and profits. I guess holding without any trading itself will give us big profits in long run.

you can take 5-10% to buy back it's enough for me, i think after bitcoin pumping we will found corection price,, sell at $460 then buy back at arround $440
But with that much of a percentage you are not making anything out of those buy backs. Anything under 15%, and most of what you could make is being eaten by transaction fees or something else.
Making $20 from selling at $460 is nothing for most of the serious traders out there and it isn't really worth their time.
1745  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: December 26, 2015, 05:10:30 AM
As far as I know xapo doesn't have any transaction fees for what I have used it for when sending bitcoin from my wallet or receiving. Haven't used the card yet but of course debit cards have fees to use them. They always do per transaction.
1746  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ✔ ✔ CRYPTOPAYOUTS.com - 200% Single-Line Doubler - DIRECT PAYMENTS on: December 26, 2015, 01:22:35 AM
Has anyone receive payments yet from this investment game?
I would normally go on the site to check for payouts but I am wary to click on any sites that I am not familiar with this time of the year which are usually phishing sites. Undecided
1747  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Senior member account on: December 26, 2015, 01:19:18 AM
No interest in a senior account?
I will be dropping to 0.17btc for the boxing day that is today.
1748  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will January 2016 bring? on: December 26, 2015, 01:18:04 AM
Didn't realize that January is a bad month for bitcoin. If what time tells is true then I won't be expecting any gains this time around either.
Too bad as I was seeing next month being a good time to sell any bitcoin I had left after this holiday season.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 24, 2015, 07:07:01 PM
The price does not look too rise even for today.  Nobody is buying any and are more likely holding until the day after it being boxing day when everybody is spending their saving (bitcoin and fiat) on year end deals.
I would say wait if you want to sell cause now is not the time. The price will keep dropping and maybe in the new year it will increase abit more to the level we were at a week ago.
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: December 24, 2015, 10:18:11 AM
I would, once I find something that I am not able to buy without real money (fiat), which is not allowed at the time being.
I would see online services such as online hosting and vpn services could go this way, as only accepting bitcoin as payment but not as yet.
This could drive more people to not rely on fiat as the only real money available to make their purchases, but we will see what lies in the future when it comes.

1753  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Paypal trader on: December 24, 2015, 07:44:01 AM
But still youre doing business with them, dont you ?

What you are implying?

The facts, you are doing business with well know scammer such as buyingBTC51

I have done business with him in the past. At the time of our trade, his only negative trust was from you. The reference on that negative trust makes no sense to me.

Sure it dindt... i just dont go around posting for fun or without evidences.

Btw im not the one who brought up your name in this thread.
Scam buster you are implying that btc-mike is incohorts with buyingbtc51 a known scammer. Please provide viable evidence that can backup your accusations.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 24, 2015, 07:38:31 AM
You're not done.  How many bets have you placed since you started this topic?
He has said that none were placed since he has started this thread. Lets hope he has kept to his word on this matter.
There are so many wh0 has repeated the same thing as saying "This is evil" and "don't bet as much as you can afford to lose". We as the forum logical know this already. There is no one that force this upon anyone that is a addict to gambling. They have to learn this themselves. Don't spew out the same redirect over and over again. Instead contribute something new to the discussion.
Thank you.
1755  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Senior member account on: December 23, 2015, 11:48:41 PM
bumping for today and with price drop I am in a giving mood for this time of year.
1756  Economy / Digital goods / Selling Senior member account on: December 23, 2015, 05:50:01 AM
I would like to offer a Senior member account.
It would not include a signed message as I bought the account 1 month ago.
It does have a untrusted negative feedback from a known and outed scammer, so not a problem joining any campaign.

asking for 0.2btc but neogtiable.
good post quality all in English
activity is 420+ (will be hero in little over a month)
and trust given for successful trade for skrill given while in my possession.
1757  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 23, 2015, 05:37:12 AM
Don't just quit cold turkey, just bet to have some fun and consider that money gone when you decide to bet it. The casinos will always win, that's their business, however you can have some fun and be entertained just the same. The problem is that many gamblers take it seriously and think they have what it takes, I never really understood how intelligent people keep falling for this.
It is hard to quit cold turkey because of that little voice that keeps telling you that you can must get back what you have lost. That is the hardest part of letting go of gambling. It is the devils voice I tell you  Cheesy
But if Fruitbasket says he has not played since he started this thread, I believe him. If you are a strong willed person you can overcome any obstacle especially gambling. It is sickness that does not need to be in people's lives, that goes especially for this time of year when it can ruin not just your life but your families and everyone's around you as well.
Keep it up brother!  Wink
1758  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 23, 2015, 05:30:06 AM
The average online female looks like this:

snip

If you're lucky she looks like this.

-snip-

LOL I don't think like that, on my campus many beautiful women who undergo an online business properly, the body is no different, they stay beautiful
So your saying they cam their bodies for quick bitcoin? This is an online business that makes millions and if formulate properly can be lucrative to those poor college students.
If they are gifted with that beauty why not... they are not losing anything for using that beauty at their possession. Why give it for free when using social media Cheesy
if they're that really beauty, i thought they will become a model, and camshow service isn't a good deal
I just backtracked on the post by QuestionAuthority and nobody would pay anything to see those "Beauties"!  Cheesy
They are Cartman-esec too say the least.
But yes if the real college beauties want to flaunt their wares for some bitcoins, go right ahead. More power to you. Money is hard to come by nowadays and if you got the "talent" use it.

1760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 23, 2015, 12:34:20 AM
Those numbers are really interesting.  Which exchange?  This was just a few months after the 10,000 bitcoin pizza.

Indeed, about 7 weeks after laszlo's famous pizza trade with jercos.

I was using bitcoinmarket.com at the time.  There were other options for buying/selling such as OTC, NewLibertyReserve, and the forum, but bitcoinmarket.com was the closest thing to an exchange.

I have more old trade data if your interested, going back to about April, 2010.  Volume is relatively low but one can't miss the wild yet largely forgotten July, 2010 rally.

That is a legendary exchange that will never be forgotten. That was the first story I ever heard about bitcoin and it cemented it's foundation as it stands today as a currency with limitless possibilities venturing on to hope for a better economical future.
I bought mine for $175 per bitcoin. Can not remember the exact date but it was well over 2 years ago.
