2081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending VERY Large Amounts of Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 11:47:34 AM
This guy sold $9 million at one time:
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2014/10/bearwhale-is-freaking-out-the-bitcoin-markets.html

Another time more recently a $2m margin call created a flash crash on BTC-E (?).

So all depends on the state of the market.

Having said that I notice I nice steady light increase in BTC price.  My guess for what its worth is that Winlevoss or some other institutional player is making buys to maintain such a trend.

So that's how this kind of market works. That is the strangest thing I ever saw before.
Only thought it happens in the stock market. Now I know why the price drops so dramatically all the sudden.
BearWhale what a name  Cheesy

Try Bitcoin Zebra faucet.. As of now you can win 3000 satoshi p/h 1450 average.
win satoshi so it is a hit or miss. I don't recommend faucets. The only ones making any bitcoin are the ones running the sites.
Try capatcha solving or as so many suggested sig campaign.

so do you think as faucet runner I make any bitcoin?
why do you try not to run faucets then if you think that faucet runners make satoshi...
If you don't make anything from it, why do it? Don't say for fun because that is a waste of time and everybody knows that time is money. Unless your time is not worth anything to you.

2085  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make a living online? on: October 16, 2015, 04:13:51 AM
If I was paid to make these absurd videos why won't I? It is like doing some school project and getting paid for it instead of getting graded on it which would probably result in an F.
It only proves that anyone can make money online if they have a crazy idea that people are even slightly interested in.
2086  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now PayPal accounts can be funded with Bitcoin on: October 15, 2015, 09:25:53 PM
Coinimal is very reputable so far in my opinion. It's a new exchange but with the old reputable member of this forum who is by the way also an escrow of this forum, TwinwinnerD.

I don't know how did they manage to get this working with PayPal but I can almost guarantee this is not a scam as some are suggesting in the thread.
I think it is a good thing. More options available to the consumer is progress.

Of course it's a good thing, especially if we know that buying and selling bitcoins is very complicated at the moment and many new people get overwhelmed with this when they try to get into a Bitcoin space.

I would say this is even harder than securing your wallet properly, which is another complicated thing about Bitcoin in my opinion.

So yes, we need all of the options that we can have!

I do know of it's complexity. I have been in bitcoin since for 6 months and still find it hard to obtain it. I do deal with paypal and find this just a means of closing this gap of being so complicated to find a reliable way of getting it without paying high fees at the end of it all.
2087  Economy / Goods / Re: What goods are in demand? on: October 15, 2015, 08:48:16 PM
giftcards are always in high demand and the shipping costs will not kill you.

or maybe a dropship service point.

if you do that,i think you dont enjoy your current life, you are too scare about your future, its what i think. Grin
To scared about what the future holds. This usually scares people straight into saving for a rainy day.

Gold in my opinion is and will always win over the rest as a commodity. Yes even bitcoin because of it's stability.

I would use this once it goes live. But how can you guarantee no chargebacks from paypal exchanges. Will it go through the business account to off set this?
Nice Windows 10 interface.
2095  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: October 13, 2015, 05:34:42 PM
Fact is you don't have to rush into things. I suggest you find out more about bitcoin and the benefits that it offers and then only decide for yourself. Most of the time, we often get dissapointed if you treat bitcoin solely as an investment or another get rich quick scheme. It's never meant for that.
Best advice I have read on these type of threads: Educate yourself before dedicating your bitcoin to anything.

2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 13, 2015, 05:11:50 PM
Nobody says you can make a living from it. That is absurd to think you can quit your job and do it to earn a full time living.
Entertainment purposes only as most casinos advertise them to be. That is why they are under Gaming and lotteries commissions.
