Lakers win and the big 3 have some good numbers, but still the Pistons (the worst team in the NBA right now) were able to put the score to as close as 1 point and they almost handed the Lakers an L.
They maybe are the worst team per record but Lakers aren't the best team either. Pistons IMO is a competitive team because they don't lose by a huge margin, in fact, they beat the Heat which is also a good team. The Lakers just used their experience to outsmart the Pistons, but that's not enough against legit playoff teams, so they need to improve a bit. Pistons versus Lakers was a really interesting match. Bogdanović tried his best to have a result in favor of the Pistons. But he did not have much support. His team tried, but one man can only do so much. But on the other hand, Lakers had a really good performance and the individual performance of LeBron, James, and Anthony Davis, really helped the Lakers to have a good score. And Russell Westbrook is also finding good chemistry with the team. He did not get many points, but he was effectively moving the ball. Anthony Davis was really good with 34 points and 15 rebounds in this game.

It is an easy game for the Lakers. The Piston is at the bottom of the Eastern Conference and with AD, Lebron and Westbrook on the floor, I do not think the Pistons even stand a chance against them. When I wrote the comment, the third period of the match was being played. Bojan Bogdanovic had an incredible game. The Pistons would have won the game if one or two more of the other players had accompanied him. So contrary to what you said, the Pistons had a very good chance of winning the game. In the end, LeBron James and Anthony Davis played big and won the game. If the Lakers can do that every game, they'll have a chance to make it to play-offs again. The Lakers won after losing three games and returned home. Now they will play three games at home, maybe they can make a new winning streak.

The Nets are now number 4 in the East. Just like that. Another example of a strong 2nd unit that beat the Pacers yesterday without Kyrie, KD, and Ben.
That's an impressive performance for the 2nd unit of Nets. They are really proving that they are competitive and they did it in a surprising way, teamwork and trust each other. Another case of players taking advantage of the rare opportunities given to them. I'm honestly glad that vets like Mills and youngsters like Thomas suddenly puts up big numbers. It's refreshing and hopefully that continues for the sake of the club. People are getting tired of the toxicity around their "big 3".

Specially for Mills, I mean when he has acquired by the Nets, there are a lot of hopes that he can contribute but then he become so inconsistent. But without their big 3, then he has to rise to the occasions, same with the rest of the young players as they have to show up in the games. They will have to face the Washington Wizards next at their homecourt, this is going to be fun as they look for a momentum to stay at top 4 in the East. Good win again by the Lakers, but it wasn't easy as it looks and then Joel Embiid, another 50++ point performance from him.

Joel Embiid scored 53 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Hornets, which is an excellent result and he has a very good overall record, averaging 38 points in the last 10 games. Against Utah, this season he also scored 59 points, Philadelphia won that game 105-98, and Joel scored more than half of all points. He said after the game with Hornets, that the ball itself found me, but it is clear that the players try to play with him if he has a good game.
Embiid is likely feeling it I think the drive is likely taken over him in doing well in every game, and right now the Philadelphia 76ers are doing great and now in the 5th position of the eastern conference, they are likely having a blast and that was crazy stat coming from Embiid not only his points stats but his rebounding and defensive play are also improving if this continues and if he stays healthy 76ers will likely be seen in the playoffs, Lakers win and the big 3 have some good numbers, but still the Pistons (the worst team in the NBA right now) were able to put the score to as close as 1 point and they almost handed the Lakers an L. Bogdanovic was sensational with the series of 3s he had midway in the 3rd quarter and that gave the team a momentum boost to put the score closer. Now, I have doubts again for the Lakers whether or not they're gonna make it to the playoffs, as they even struggling to earn a spot in the play-in tournament. Though it's kinda early and we're seeing a very slight progress, but as a Laker and LeBron fan, I'm still hoping they'll figure it out.
The Detroit Piston just got a poor start, and it just continues until they can get sheer force to make it happen now Bojan Bogdanovic is not really enough to shoulder the whole team alone, having 30-plus points every game is really exhausting and he could use a rest even for a day, but surely it is not enough likely Bogdanovic would really need the help he can get, but the Lakers are smoothly taking their precious time in getting those win that they needed, and Anthony Davis is the most crucial player for them that they can not afford to lose, even with an injuries,

And it took him time to take his shot in the last possession, took him a lot of dribbles and then he will just pass it in the last second. He was well defended and if I'm not mistaken it was Pat Bev who is in front of him. He could have made the game exciting if he hits that three at it will cut the Lakers lead into 2. As usual, it was Davis again, probably the numbers he is putting is similar when they won the championship back in 2019. I'm not saying that they will be the champion again, but he is putting statistics as if he is still in his prime or not prone to injuries.

Looks like the Lakers made an offer to try and get Bogdanovic from the Pisons but it seemed to be a cash and picks offer. Seemingly a good deal for the Pistons as they are in rebuild mode and this trade would probably result in them having the worst record in the NBA this season, which is what most teams want to happen so that they can have a chance at the number 1 pick next year. All eyes seem to be on Victor Wembanyama so I could actually see this trade happening in a crazy way. Surely they would give up Bogdanovic for Victor Wembanyama if given the opportunity, so maybe the extra picks will be able to get them on board. I would like this move from the Lakers. Would be the first good trade they've made in years.

Davis has always been effective and a true contributor to the team. If it's not for the injuries, they'll maximize the use of Davis because he's always like that and they can rely on him. Regardless of that, he just need to be more careful because he's really prone to it but when he's already inside the court, can't remember those worries and things because there's only one thing on his mind and that's to win.

I was just thinking if you lead 7 to double digits in 3 out of 4 quarters of the game and never trailed even for 1 second in the game, it is an easy game. When AD easily imposes his will inside the paint, and Lebron easily cutting/driving inside and scoring, it is an easy game. When there is only 1 real threat on the opponent team, that only caught fire in the game and when they only come close when either AD or Lebron is out or when only the second unit is in playing, it is an easy game. Bogdanovic made the game interesting though when he caught fire in the third quarter. Those catch-and-shoot was near perfect. But with just 1 player catching fire with the Pistons and the others don't even score half the score of Bogdanovic, no rebound, and no assists from other players, how can I say it was a hard-fought battle for the Lakers?

Boston celtics are performing great this season especially after losing the finals to the warriors that doesnt see to have affected them i hope they can make it far in the play offs again this season, after yesterday loss to the warriors next they will face the clippers i think the bookmakers offer great odds for their win and i think they will be able to snatch the victory.

Last year there was a close MVP race between him Jokic and Giannis. One advantage Jokic has is that he remains consistent while Joel went down and got injured and so he didn't win the Award. But if he continues his performance like this and not be injured, I think he has a high chance to win this year no doubt.
He has a good supporting cast as well, lead by Harden and the Melton and Milton and Tobias Harris.
Gonna be a good Eastern showdown as who will be the team to beat with the Bucks (although they lost) and the Celtics as well.
Interesting thing Jokic is that people got used to him, I mean sure he can score decently, and he rebounds a bit like a centre should, but he passes so well and the games go through him, that was a new thing, a brand new type of "point centre" basically, he was the best, not the first of course, like Pau Gasol for example was one of the best passing big men we have seen, but at MVP level? Jokic was the first ever. That is why I believe that he got some good votes, but people are used to him so they are not going to really vote for him too much this year. People are wanting to see something new, and if Doncic could get his team into at least 6th seed, I feel like he would get it for sure.

There is no one with both the vision of a top notch point guard and the ability to play like one in a centers body. If you watch him play he rarely makes a mistake. Not to say he doesn't turn it over but the decision is the right one whether or not he executes it correctly. Dude could win mvp every year and justifiably so.

But it looks like many teams are interested in Bojan, Lakers should pursue this, he will be their sharpshooter that could space the floor giving AD enough room to use his post-up game regularly. If they are not stopping with the "win now" motto then they better offer what they can, now. The Nets are now number 4 in the East. Just like that. Patty Mills, after being acquired by the Brooklyn Nets is being forgotten. I don't see him much in the rotation because they are using isolation plays for either KD in the first unit and Kyrie in the second, Mills doesn't work on that kind of play unlike in Spurs where the ball always rotates. I'd like to see if Jacque Vaughn will use this unit again later and check its effectiveness even when the big 3 is back against the Wizards.

Very big day for Bojan Bogdanović while their stars are resting. That is the prime Bojan that we knew in Utah Jazz, he will punished those who are not defending him well either outside or inside offensive plays. About the Lakers, my doubts will always be the "what if AD is out?" question. Unlike teams like the Cavaliers for example, even without Mitchell (+5), they win games against an average team like Thunder (11-15 record). Strength without stars, the Lakers' 2nd unit should keep on improving, soon they will be badly needed especially with this season filled with back-to-back games. The Nets are now number 4 in the East. Just like that. Another example of a strong 2nd unit that beat the Pacers yesterday without Kyrie, KD, and Ben. Bogdan Bogdanovic also just had a great game after he came back from injury. And Bojan Bogdanovic just had something similar. It is amusing. I think everyone shares the doubt about AD. Every Lakers fan and organization workers must be praying for his health. And Nets were also very impressive. I found their performance amazing without their stars. It was actually even better than some of their performance with KD and Kyrie.

I've been hearing the prospect about this kid, Wenbanyama. Where he's possibly going to be when he's going to enter the NBA? There's the picking/draft round but there's also the other ways of acquiring him by most teams through possible exclusive contract or buying his contract to the current league he's in. Is he really that like a future or just an overhyped? I don't wish him to end up but I don't also want people to expect a lot just as mostly thought of Oden.
People looking at him as perfect proto type player and looking and his highlight we can really say he is so good many NBA player agree that he's generational one. Hopefully he will not get stab hard by injury before he land on NBA because if he get serious one maybe what you thought about being another Greg Oden might be happen. That's also my kind of worry to him. Everybody years back then, we're all in for Greg and then an injury hits him. Victor should be careful on his physical body and moves. I know that there could be advisors on him so that he'll be taken properly and with care and he'll have that mentality on how to decide properly for every moves that he do everytime he's on a game.

But it looks like many teams are interested in Bojan, Lakers should pursue this, he will be their sharpshooter that could space the floor giving AD enough room to use his post-up game regularly. If they are not stopping with the "win now" motto then they better offer what they can, now. Bogdanovic is perfect for the Lakers. He is the key piece they have been looking for this whole season. It was said here, over and over again, they need an outside shooter that can space the floor, not just for AD, but for WB and Lebron as well. He will open up lanes for Lebron and Westbrook to drive in. The near-perfect stroke he displayed during their match with the Lakers, knocking down threes even with a defender on his face, might have made Rob Pelinka's eyes twinkle in desire to get him. The only question now is, do they have the pieces to offers for Bojan? I've been hearing the prospect about this kid, Wenbanyama. Where he's possibly going to be when he's going to enter the NBA? There's the picking/draft round but there's also the other ways of acquiring him by most teams through possible exclusive contract or buying his contract to the current league he's in. Is he really that like a future or just an overhyped? I don't wish him to end up but I don't also want people to expect a lot just as mostly thought of Oden.

We can never really tell until he played in NBA. NBA is a different kind of beast. I only watched his highlights, and it is good. But that is not good enough to know if he will be good in NBA. We have to measure him with the intangibles. I need to watch a full game or 2 of him to know. What he does when he is off the ball, how is his leadership, his defense, and how hard he practices? These will all add up to how successful he will be in NBA. Talent can just take you so much, but persistence, consistency, and work ethics and habits will make you an NBA Star.

Regardless of that, he just need to be more careful because he's really prone to it but when he's already inside the court,
Can he keep on being careful on the court, especially with his position? hehe. What he needs to do, which he is already doing since then, is to just continue to improve his overall physical strength and sturdiness. Since he already faced lots of injuries at a young age, that takes a toll on his body in the long run even though he is recovered and fit to play.

I'm curious who you guys would list as your top 5 players in the world right now? I think you've obviously have to include Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Kevin Durant. But after these three, I feel like it's pretty hard to round out the top 5. I feel like Lebron is still in this category, although of course getting pretty close to longer being there. But who else would you guys choose to round out your top 5?

These are my top 5 in no particular order. - Giannis - Durant - Tatum - Jokic - Curry I picked Tatum over Luka because of how his performance impacts his team not only this season but all throughout his whole career. The remaining has already an all-star for a long time and all 4 of them are a future hall of famer. Your question is a bit general, and I must think of a specific time frame for it. I mean is it "all-time" or "this season only" or in the last 5 years etc. My choices are the best in the world for the past 5 years and I think they are the ones who has the most impact on their team.

I will have the following. -Giannis -Davis -Zion -Curry -Lebron I have Lebron and Davis who are in one team because they are playing great basketball, can't deny that Lebron is a hall of famer and he is still the king of basketball. Comes playoffs time, Lebron will be in beast mode and that will give their team a good chance of winning.
