1301  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Android app] ORMW - cryptocurrencies manager on: February 21, 2018, 01:18:00 PM
What substantial advantage your application offers that google spread-sheets don't ? Your app may have currencies listed on auto-complete etc but that's not a needed feature.People still prefer using spreed-sheets as they're much more reliable.
Someone mad a similar app a few days back and I told him the same thing.
1302  Other / Meta / Re: Is it a bug? Trust shows only "???" on: February 21, 2018, 12:35:56 PM

Thank you for joining. The 3 question marks are red, that is why I assumed it was a negative, but actually the only negative comment I see in the trusted feedback is from allyouracid.
I have no idea why he left me a negative without a reference link.And he is not on a DT,he could be in your trust list or something.

But here the topic I started is on a different subject. No matter what the trust score is, negative or positive, why there are ? ? ? instead of a number?
This has been discussed before.If you understand code here's the logic behind it:

I also completely changed the trust score algorithm to this:
Code:
if there are no negative ratings
score = 0
for each rating, oldest to newest
if this rater has already been counted
continue
score += min(10, round_up(months since rating))
else
score = unique_positive - 2^(unique_negative)
if score >= 0
start_time = time of first negative
score = unique_positive since start_time - unique_negative since start_time
if(score < 0)
return ??? (orange)

move score to range [-9999,9999]
return score

The discussion thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1066857.msg11432782#msg11432782
I hope that clears the issues and you're good to lock this thread if convinced.
1303  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [HELP!] Claiming other's works | Abusing Bounty | Potential Scam on: February 21, 2018, 12:06:27 PM
That's bad.
You haven't included the part where you have sent him the translation ? Like I don't understand how can you say he is using your translation when you haven't posted the proof of you sending him one.Maybe I'm missing on something ?
1304  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KYC and identity theft risk on: February 21, 2018, 12:02:16 PM
I'm very very far from making some kind of cash-out, but i was just wondering... How do you handle the thing of being forced to give your personal informations to exchanges to be able to convert your cryptos in fiat and transfer them on bank?
I don't use exchanges.There are a few p2p services which help you exchange coins without having to verify anything.Identity risk is a big problem and anti-bitcoin.

For how i see it there it's a very high possibility (if not certainty) that exchanges are selling the informations given by their costumers... and anyway there is alway the risk that they get hacked.
Not sure about 'hackers' but certainly government organisations.That's why they take the details in the first place,to track users.

Knowing this, why you handled your ID and documents to exchanges? making some money it's enought to compesate the risks for you? do you use some alternative way to cash out your crypto?
People are idiots.Most of the retards who sign up on exchanges are only there to earn money and don't give two shits about their privacy.
1305  Other / Meta / Re: Is it a bug? Trust shows only "???" on: February 21, 2018, 11:37:40 AM
I see it is quite a negative trust but why is showing "Huh" then?

Is it some kind of bug? Haven't seen this before, here is the profile link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=560412
My profile is being mentioned right ? I don't have any negative trust from any of the DT1/DT2 members.All I have is negatives from spammers/scammers all around the forum.You need to revise your trust list if you have added them.

~My trust value would vary according to the trust settings of an individual.

Hi,
I am 5+years experienced blockchain developer. I have developed 15+successful ICOs. I can develop your smart contract also. Let's connect and discuss it.
My skype-- csankur

Thank you..!!
Stay away from idiots like him.From the user-name I can see he is low ball Indian Scammer.You want me to prove it ? @Ankur : - Please list down 10 ICO's from the 15 you mentioned that you have developed smart contracts for ? I'd like to see your coding skills and since ICO projects are mostly hosted on GitHub,I'm sure linking them wouldn't be a problem.

In which basis are you calling us scammer? We are not scammer. I can show you proof also.
 Please list down 10 ICO's from the 15 you mentioned ----- https://trptoken.io/ -- http://www.blockwallstreetcoin.io/ -- https://alexiscoin.co/ --  https://quasarcoin.io/ -- https://corecoin.co/ -- https://leukcoin.co/ -- https://morgancoin.co/ -- please check it out. These are few examples of my work.

You still haven't shown any proof.I can list down any random websites and say I developed them,would you believe me ? I won't.Like I said,there would be github accounts of these shit coins which you might want to share to prove it's legitimacy.Also those websites look crap.

1308  Economy / Services / Re: [CONTEST] 0.01 Reward for coming up with a creative name for our SportsBook on: February 21, 2018, 05:52:39 AM
This contest already forgotten because they already got their idea? and leave us hanging this contest is just a bait sad to say we all baited, or it is to early to judge them. hoping that they will announced the winner soon.
If I had selected  the winner from the list of messages posted here,I would definitely announce it Genius.Leave you hanging ? If the team doesn't like any of the options from posted ,how am I suppose to declare the winner ? I have kept the thread open hoping someone will come up with something interesting.

Just so you know,we haven't found a name yet or selected any from the options posted.I will possibly lock the thread if I don't see this thread going anywhere this week.
1309  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚩 Bitcasino.io – the FUN, FAST and FAIR gaming experience! 🚩 on: February 20, 2018, 07:56:59 PM
a hard lesson that gambling leads to money loss?
Not sure if he'd learn that lesson on other gambling websites but certainly he will if he plays on bitcasino or whatever they cam entourage call themselves.

or there is anything more of a substance,like hard lesson that I have been,god forbid,cheated?
Yes like the other users ranting in this thread,case will be similar with him.

aside of the owners associated with vegascasino.io and sportsbet.io I don't see any open scam accusations against them
they used to run shady bonus promotions at sportsbet,so I would not trust my money to the casino
but not guilty untill proven is still a thing,right?
maybe you will help gameprotect out in his never everending quest  Tongue
Blind to the facts ? The fact that one of their ventures is sportsbets,io has been ranked as the most shady sports betting website of the community should convince you enough to not trust these scums with a penny.I see it that way.
1310  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I NEED ESCROW SERVICE PLEASE! on: February 20, 2018, 07:25:39 PM
It is actually a trading exchange website account Bitfinex. I have asked several escrow experts for there service but they said the price is very low. So I felt helpless and lonely in the huge crypto world. Imagine that.
Don't buy that account.You will be scammed/banned over time.

P.S. Do you mean you are willing to help for free? That super nice of you. But about the warning I think its ok because the user is unverified on the exchange so once i get the account I will get it verified and its most likely safe to use it wouldn't it?
The user will wait for you to get that account verified and then claim it back from the website by providing them required evidences.The escrow will be helpless in this case as original account owner is always free to raise a concern with the website and claim his account back after the trade.
1311  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Account enrolled in the ChipMixer signature campaign on: February 20, 2018, 07:20:13 PM
Can't pm you ? I'm interested
You're a newbie and you're interested in buying an account enrolled in one of the quality signature campaigns on the forum ? Left you a negative trust.Go ahead,buy that account,wouldn't take DarkStar to figure out which account was sold and hence the account will be tagged.
1312  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Marek134 scammed me for 0.20 btc [HELP] on: February 20, 2018, 06:32:43 PM
1] we done escrow
Which escrow ? Doesn't look like you used a forum's escrow.Also escrowing digital accounts is pointless like the case here.He claimed by account back after selling it to you.

2] has his email id real name phone number and address just need steps or information how i can take legal action now or anyone can help i can give him 0.01 btc free

- Since you mentioned you have his personal details,how can you be sure that they're legitimate ? He could have faked it.
- Have you tried calling his phone ? Is he from the same country as yours ? You can take legal actions based on those details.
1313  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for someone familiar with Blockchain dev for a quick thought experiment on: February 20, 2018, 06:02:36 PM
I'm looking for someone that understands blockchain and it's capabilities far better than me just to have a quick chat with. It's nothing super serious, but I've got a quick thought experiment/idea I want to bounce off someone to see if it's feasible. No grandeur dreams of multi-million dollar ICO, but as a dev myself (albeit a terrible C# one), I want to explore some avenues a bit and learn something in the process.
Sounds Great.Please share your idea/requirement on the forum to get views from all types of possible logical thinkers on the forum.I could ask you to message me personally but you'll have one sided view that way.The more people read your idea,the better suggestions/criticism you'll receive.

Obviously this is just for fun unless we hit it off and become best friends. Just for someone bored tonight I suppose. Again, this isn't some 14 year old delusion of grandeur where I'm going to offer you equity to code my project. Just want to chat through some things.
Nice.If you are too insecure about posting it in public,send me a PM I'll explain you through stuff.
1314  Other / Meta / Re: Joel_Jantsen's Merit Distribution Thread (Newbies Welcome) on: February 20, 2018, 05:53:30 PM
Great minds think alike; I just posted this in another merit giveaway thread - I'm giving my Merits away under the conditions mentioned in this post:
Certainly they do! I will only be giving merits if you verify those accounts as a successful connection.I hope newbies who think quality posts are the only source of getting merits on the forum learn to contribute constructively thereby supporting such threads.

Kudos for your support Joel.
Thanks to you too!
1315  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Marek134 scammed me for 0.20 btc [HELP] on: February 20, 2018, 05:45:28 PM
1.Why did you trade with them without using an escrow ?
2.Why do you think after buying an account he would not claim it back by changing the details ?

I doubt you will ever get your money back.Only point of contact for the said user is their email address,

rosljuk@gmail.com.
(leaving here for future reference)

You can however give that email address to your local police or something if your country has laws which govern crypto related stuff.
1316  Other / Meta / Re: An idea to democratize merit assignment to all levels (complementary) on: February 19, 2018, 03:59:29 PM
Not all posts are going to be meritable as we know. For example, joining bounties won’t be, neither will those small posts created to encourage someone. Frankly, neither will many post that are used as stepping stones to boost activity levels. But some are now going to need quality and visibility thanks to the merit system.
Yes and that's why I made a thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2971165.0 (a way people can get merits even if they can't earn merits through constructive posts  )

1. Set a minimum length for a post to opt to being meritable (let’s say a minimum of 1.000 characters).
No post under the minimal length may be merited.
That's bad because,
a) A post could be one liner,just one word or an image but highly constructive.
b) A post could be an essay or a paragraph yet contribute nothing to the topic.

This is just like the current signature problem,people get paid for shit posts just because they're 'lengthy' (and merit system was made to solve that error )

2. Let each user (even newbies) be able to mark (somehow) with a visible icon one of his own posts which he considers could be meritable.
Let’s place a limit on the number of self-chosen meritable posts (1 or 2 per 14d for example).
Honestly,you will have everyone marking all their posts because no one here thinks their posts are trash until they're banned from SMAS or something.Merit system again keeps it subjective and let's anyone give merit if he finds a particular post helpful.

4. Based on the number of positive meritable posts received, the post qualifies to receive “system generated merit”.
You know with the advent of account farming,it is very easy to cheat that system as one will obviously use alt accounts to mark posts as 'meritable'.
1317  Other / Meta / Re: Joel_Jantsen's Merit Distribution Thread (Newbies Welcome) on: February 19, 2018, 01:20:56 PM
That doesn't look like a successful report to me..The user has copied parts from one of his post to other which is conditionally okay I guess.Anyway I'll let the thread maintainer (@Welsh) to take a stance on that post.

Might as well want to add a separate section as a 'List of Merit Distributors' eh ? Will be good to have.
1318  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for feedback about a website [0.01 ETH REWARD] on: February 19, 2018, 11:35:36 AM
If you know me ,I'm a JavaScript Enthusiast and a Full Stack Software Developer.Can certainly give you constructive comments if I find time to review your website.Of course will do it without any bounty/reward.Shoot me a PM only if you think you can trust me with your idea.
1319  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MonteCrypto: 1 BTC prize for the winner of this video game! on: February 18, 2018, 08:08:04 PM
  We are trying to keep our identities secret for now, but we can say we are a group of game developers and that we had a crazy idea for this game.
edit: address of the wallet to claim: 19mb9mZ1w953zBd7viHwWK2ZhPmcbMQh4Q

You do realize that because you are new and wearing masks, you will need to transfer that 1btc to a legal service before anyone takes you seriously.
That and I don't think community is taking the game seriously.Check out the comments on their YouTube video you can see how everybody is finding them shady and relating it to a 'scam' or a gimmick to run some mining script in the background.
I doubt anyone is interested in actually buying the game..Even if they escrow the money,they might as well ask one of their team members to solve it...
1320  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole truth about the Merit system on: February 18, 2018, 07:50:32 PM
I am still not yet getting how you got such DT Membership without any readership or experience in maintaining forums.
Please go on and read that thread, in any forums Plagiarized content is not allotted at all, but you speak false statement.
Are you retarded ? Do you even understand what he meant by this

Quote
No. Plagiarism is permanently-bannable, thus a Meta issue.

@OP,you don't have to open a thread in Meta as I have reported the account with nice description with your links and they're likely to get perma-banned soon.Nice catch though.Most of his posts seem copy-pasted.

Guess I remove him from the campaign. The reason why I merited him was because it was a good post and I can see why now.
He wouldn't be able to post after getting a ban anyway..
