1181  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Running Cloudflare on: March 25, 2018, 05:28:26 PM
This might be required for securing the forum from hackers. One big problem I experience with this is sometimes while making a post here, page refreshes because of cloudfare. This results in all content written till then getting removed. Is there any solution to this problem ? Can we have some other alternative to this security measure which does not cause any trouble while making a post here ?
You mean page randomly refreshes while writing a post after you have passed the cloudflaire wall the first time you opened the website ? Do you have a dynamic ip by any chance ? Do you use a VPN ? Maybe your ip will be one of those data sources which cloudflaire has detected as part of the ddos attack ?

As interesting as it gets,I'd like to know more about your case.
1182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vegascasino.io stole from me and they could STEAL from YOU on: March 25, 2018, 05:22:14 PM
Are you too stupid to put vegascasino.io scam into google?
It's never going to work out with these idiots. No matter how many times people post that bitcasino.io,vegascasino.io,sportsbets.io are run by the same agency and their operations are shady,no one seems to care about it much unless they get scammed for as low as $100 bucks.

OP next time do your homework before randomly playing to gambling sites.
1183  Economy / Lending / Re: micro loan me on: March 25, 2018, 05:15:07 PM
I live in war, in donbass
sorry bad english
How are we suppose to believe you live in a war zone ? Do you have any proofs to support your claims ? I'll probably send you a few bucks if you prove that you actually live in a war zone and you don't have food to eat.Mind you,I'm not going to be convinced with random pictures on the internet and I'd try to find out if there are any non government organisations working around to give free food.
You can message me personally but if you're spamming I'll block you.
1184  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Running Cloudflare on: March 25, 2018, 04:17:34 PM
I believe the admin added cloudflare for a reason. But it is a pain in the back. Today when I tried to login, I had to try several times because I got the message that entered invalid captcha. Filling the google captcha was already a pain before.
Wait,Google captcha and cloudflaire are two different services and are not dependent on each other.Cloudflaire is there to prevent Ddos attacks while captcha prevents spam bots.Having said that I agree captcha is pain in the ass.

And because of cloudflare I lost a post today. I made a lengthy post and when I pressed the post button I cloudflare page popped up and BCT said the message was empty. Admin should do something about this so posts which takes time to type does not get lost because of cloudflare.
Does you browser cache the temp data being typed ? If you're writing a lengthy post,it's always better to write in your text editor or keep a shallow copy of it somewhere.Admins don't care about your post and they shouldn't since forum's usability is more important than your lengthy post.
1185  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would you rather use Paxful or LocalBitcoins and why? on: March 25, 2018, 04:07:51 PM
I can honestly say that I think I've only heard Paxful in the same sentence as 'scam' but obviously that's users, not the platform. I'm not sure there's any presence where I'm at. Localbitcoins all the way for me.
Totally.LocalBitcoins for me all the way! Been using them for a few years now without any hassle. However, today after ages I checked my login stats and recently there have been a few failed login attempts from the ip addresses which I don't use (Russia and Indonesia specifically).I thought of activating 2fa but again I don't store any coins on an exchange whatever the case so no problem at all.Login Guard helps in most of these brute forcing cases.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]🚀StasyQ - brings crypto revolution to the adult industry on: March 25, 2018, 03:58:40 PM
Need to make an announcement.I hope participants get to read this.

I will be taking over as a bounty manager for this campaign starting from the following week.Which also means,

 - Campaign from now will be very particular about post quality,plagiarism,alt-accounts and everything in between.
 - I'll shorty ask OP to add those rules in the main thread.
 - Should you have any doubts,I'd appreciate if you post them in the telegram bounties group or in this thread.
 - This bounty campaign does not encourage ANN bumping, shilling etc.Accounts found doing so will be removed from the campaign along with a negative feedback from the DT.

I hope I'll get full co-ordination from the bounty participants.Thank you!
1187  Other / Meta / Re: Open external links in new tab on: March 25, 2018, 02:51:14 PM
I have suggestion, if it's possible, to add automatically target="_blank" to external links posted on forum!

I think that is better for user experience, because  I need to stay on forum when click on link on some external post links!
1.No,check out the link posted below to know the details.
2.User's security > User experience.

Honestly,I'm not very fond of having 100 tabs open. You can always use your mouse-wheel or right-click -open-new-tab  option.

For "security" reasons NO
It has been asked and explained multiple times already but I can't give you a link right now, but if you search you will find it quickly.
There you go : Links no longer open in a new window/tab
1188  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Accusation actmyname on: March 22, 2018, 09:36:46 AM
actmyname wondering how much an account is worth and buying it is two different things, so I'll ask you to return the previous trust to me.
You can actually return the previous trust to yourself without having him to do it.I'll tell how,

Go to your profile ->Trust ->Trust Settings and inside the Trust list just add this text
Code:
~actmyname
.BAMM your trust-list will be returned to you again.Thank me later.  Kiss
1189  Economy / Gambling / Re: Add DICE to your website on: March 21, 2018, 12:56:02 PM
Will this work for https://game-protect.com/ ?
That should work for any website if it is bundled as a script which gets called in the header file of the project. Moreover,I don't see any API information on their website so really hard to predict what extra measures should be taken to implement it.
My rough guess is,it should work like any other js-plugin.
1190  Economy / Gambling / Re: Add DICE to your website on: March 21, 2018, 12:18:58 PM
sounds interesting. how does it work?? javascript? do i need my own hosting?
Yeah obviously you will need your own hosting for the plugin to work.It will be bundled as a third party JavScript application which you should be calling in your header file (mostly).
OP,how do you make money ? Do you take the house edge and divide between the other parties or the house edge is set differently for every plugin user ?
1191  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining - Where Are The Reputable Operators? on: March 21, 2018, 12:13:58 PM
A lot of people don't like the idea of cloud mining. My guess this is mostly because all the major operators seem ridiculously dodgy. But, the theory of cloud mining is very solid. It's based on exactly the same principle as cloud computing. I work in the software industry and I do not want to be maintaining servers. So, we lease computers from Microsoft Azure. It's expensive, and we could definitely get the computing power cheaper if we just built our own servers and put them in a safe location. But, this is not practical for many reasons. This is even more so the case with mining. ASIC computers are extremely noisy, hot, and chew threw electricity. So, it only makes sense that these computers be placed in server farms where electricity is cheap and hopefully sustainable.
Maybe you should know the basic principle of bitcoins, mining isn't profitable in the long run, especially if your competitors are running farms thrice the size of your set-up.Where are these miners hosted ? In a low cost electricity region ? Are they actually present or just money is taken for other investment purposes ?
IMHO,I don't consider any cloud mining operation real if I don't get to see their mining location personally through either visits or photographs.
1192  Economy / Services / Re: [Wanted] KYC for ICO on: March 21, 2018, 12:09:13 PM
If an ICO needs you to do a KYC,you should not be part of that crap in the first place.Who knows if they are stealing your documents for a few shitcoins they will be offering you ? Or are you that broke to give up your identity online to strangers for a few dollars ?

Can you tell me the name of that ICO anyway ? I'm a bit curious.
1193  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need Custom Trading Exchange with Full Source Code on: March 21, 2018, 11:48:17 AM
where can i find a company that can provide me a Custom Trading Exchange with Full Source Code?
You can't.If you do,you're likely being scammed.
Developing a secure exchange is not a joke and people willing to sell you "exchange scripts" are mostly scammers.Should you wish to get your own exchange developed, you will need to find a company that takes such projects. (I do know a few services which I can link you to [PM me in that case]).$30k should be enough to get it developed.

Do you think i  should i go to an Ico to collect more money? Or this amount is enough to get a local  exchange crypto/crypto something like Binance.
Who said ICO's give free money ? Nope, you don't want to start an ICO to get money to fund your project.

An exchange like binance might cost considerably more. Pm me we can discuss
Pm this idiot and you will likely be scammed if you pay them anything upfront.
1194  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion for eliminating the possibility of having the exact similar posts on: March 21, 2018, 11:36:53 AM
Yeah, basically. How many people do you think are even doing that?
How many people do you think even care about the advertising spam ? If they would, the could use the "Report to Moderator" button quite often.

Also the guy is at least trying to ''help'' with the advertising ban, although a reversal it's certainly not going to happen.
Your point being ? Which part of my post shows I'm on the other side being defensive ? I just gave a solution that have always worked for me.
1195  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion for eliminating the possibility of having the exact similar posts on: March 21, 2018, 11:13:38 AM
Better solution yet,HIT THAT

1196  Other / Meta / Re: Projects using "ANN thread bumping services" and how to stop them? on: March 21, 2018, 09:39:32 AM
I don't know if it sounds practical but if I had to come with a rule to stop this - I would simply want those threads moved to trashcan with a warning to not use ICOBumping services. However,an ICO can create a new thread but as soon as thread bumping is reported, they will be instantly moved to trashcan.
1197  Other / Meta / Re: My account got hacked - please help!!!! on: March 21, 2018, 08:47:26 AM
Damm,

I had an auction up and running and "minerjones" was escrow. "ticked" won the auction and I sent him the private btc adress through pm for payment. It was a binance adress and obviously I still have my binance account. So could I ask "ticked" to post here and he can confirm the adress which he sent the BTC to. So then I can proof that I own the adress for example I could send "ticked" some btc from that adress which I sent him for payment back in February 2018. Exact date was 2018-02-09

Would this work?
You want to know the harsh truth ? Even if you run around the world and get a messaged signed of account ownership, chances are,you will never ever get your account back.(Unless you're ready to wait for a month, two months or forever)

Account recovery is the least priority on the forum and there are people waiting for months to get their accounts back, you will definitely be less in priority if at all theymos decides to do so.
Move on.
1198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC PAYMENTS ON MY WEBPAGE! on: March 20, 2018, 07:01:08 PM
Nobody would send you any Bitcoin if you are not using a reputable payment processor.
How would that matter to a customer ? All customer has to do is send their bitcoins through the medium requested. If the transaction goes through, customers should be given the promised services regardless where the bitcoins go.It's client's fault if they get scammed by the payment processor used and not customers.
1199  Other / Meta / Re: This forum is continuously getting slower.. on: March 20, 2018, 06:57:18 PM
Click a link to asub and it takes like 20 seconds to process and go. Its like that everyday now. Why?

Theymos just switched it to cloudflare, I notice the difference already, it's much better.... (I saw the change when I clicked a link). Wink
That possibly means there could have been a Dddos attack in progress/still is as I'm writing the reply since the website is loading extremely slowly for me especially the threads with 20+ pages of reply.
Having said that, other pages/replies are working fine now.
1200  Other / Meta / Re: RANK & MERIT-BASED Signature Campaigns (an attempt) on: March 20, 2018, 06:46:13 PM
What happened to Lutpin tho? Haven't seen him around for quite some time.
Probably fighting spammers and leading the merit charts.I'll tell him you miss him.

OP: Why does threads these days have to be extra long and verbose ? Putting it graphically makes you look like hunting merits is one of your intentions behind creating the thread. (which you did)

I hope someone posts a tl:dr version of the same.
