s1lverbox 0: -0 / +0(0)    2014-09-08   0.01000000      OP lend from me BTC, and as promised bitcoins was returned and everything went as planned.

Frequent small loans/repayment seems to point to a long con. Not saying you are doing this but it fits a pattern and is suspicious.
1882  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: buying 5btc via paypal on: September 10, 2014, 04:03:16 PM
THIS IS SO STUPID!!!! WHY MUST SHIT AL;WAYS BE SO GOD Damn complicated!!!

Easy. Read through the Scam section, it will become quite clear.
1883  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.0075 loan for 12hours will repay 0.01 on: September 10, 2014, 03:42:03 PM
As title reads please help  Grin

You now have multiple loan threads open as well as a negative for item not received after payment. This activity makes you look very suspicious.
1884  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: September 10, 2014, 01:51:54 AM
Be careful and accept paypal only with an escrow and sent as a gift or family.

And this will only give someone a false sense of security. In reality, this will protect nothing and has been proven time and time again.
1885  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Negative Trust Report] Lendee Defaulted on .2BTC Loan on: September 10, 2014, 01:21:51 AM
This is a very rare occasion. Glad tennis had the guts to get back in touch. Very happy that you to have come to some agreement to get this outstanidng issue resolved.

@tennis - I'd message the user's who have left bad trust on your account and redirect them to this thread so that they can remove the ratings.

Negative won't be removed until the loan is paid back as per the agreement.
1886  Economy / Lending / Re: tesco value loans!!!! on: September 09, 2014, 09:28:47 PM
Hey, you need a loan? Not enough collateral? Have you ID and proof of address?

Im offering 3 types of loans.
  • Full collateral up to 1btc
  • 50% collateral + ID + proof of address, proof of incomeup to .5
  • no collateral, +ID + proof of address + facebook account

If you choose a no collateral loan you must upload picturre ID and proof of address.

THESE CANNOT BE SCANS!!! They must be taken by photo and be high res pictures with no partial pictures.

Passport, national id, utility statement as proof of address these will be accepted once i check i think they are legit.

Pm me here or send me an email @  tvouchers@gmail.com

This is a bad idea all the way around.
1887  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Entz scammed me out of 355 dollars paypal gift on: September 08, 2014, 12:24:13 PM
I have no idea how many times it has been stated and proven: Paypal and BTC just don't mix.
People NEVER learn.

I wanted to buy one of those iban cards from member mp2btc. Sendt him 40€ in btc because he seemed legit but i never received the item. Also no answers on my massages and e-mails after i payed.
Don't go first with this guy. Use escrow or he scamms you!

Need more proof than that.

No requests trough PM
Low interest rates [for the bitcoin world at least]
120% Collateral is a must
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will not give no collateral loans unless you're a Hero member + with positive trust

Repayment date will be determined depending on your needs

I don't care what the money is for, if you have collateral I will give you the loan

Post the type of collateral you have, amount you want to loan and leave your address.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Current available treshold: 1.5BTC
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is legitimate collateral?

Mostly alt coins, this should be a coin with decent trade value

Cloud mining accounts such as cex.io,eobot etc.

I can do physical goods but in that case you'll have to pay for reshipping the item back to you.

All collateral should be held using a trusted third party escrow.
1891  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC @ $500 <> Paypal <> I go first. on: September 06, 2014, 12:39:32 AM
I don't see why.

I bought from someone here like this multiple times. It was back before the huge 1200 jump, but still.

Im sending as family/friend and going first.

Im putting all trust in the seller, I understand this because I'm not as high of a member.

Thanks to all.

Gift, going first or Verified account won't matter if you decide to charge back. That can happen for around 180 days.
Trust is on the buyer as Paypal doesn't cover any digital goods.
You may want to explore other options.
Also all the Trust I can see is:
Xara 0: -0 / +0(0)   2013-07-01   0.00000000      how much do you want for channel

I don't know what that last line means lol.

But either way, I didn't think you could charge back if you sent family/friends. Huh

Yes it can.

I realize that my loan request may not be able to be filled by one person. So if anybody
can help out with sending any portion to 1FLaqMaLCgNoAY9R9rcRq842aTQgaMDmoT it would be greatly appreciated. This is why I want to keep it on btcjam since it's easier to allow for partial lenders.

thank you.

Explaination?
1894  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering loan [With collateral] Up to 0.25 Btc on: September 05, 2014, 12:44:25 PM
So I presume , my loan service does not interested to anyone ?  Let me know your offer , have a nice day  Smiley .

I would strongly suggest you add in the OP a trusted third party to hold all collateral.
1895  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan (gamble) on: September 05, 2014, 12:38:19 PM
This screams SCAM, not saying your a scammer OP but this post dosen't look good. Asking for big loan and PM details, loan for gambling and OP is Newbie, hmm, good luck your going to need it.

Ok. I knew I am newbie and post doesn't look good for people. But this is not a SCAM Smiley So, if I don't take a loan I will wait for money from my buisness. 7 days and it is ok. Wink

Making multiple threads asking for loans doesn't look good either. You may want to rethink that strategy.
1896  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos: How does this trust score work, then? on: September 04, 2014, 12:33:45 PM
I feel kind of against reputation being given to someone who provides a loan though, unless they took collateral without escrow. The person receiving the coins actually has an incentive to scam so it isn't really worth trust imho.

IMHO, if nothing was risked or the loan was multiple micro (to build rep) then I don't think it should have much weight. Also other sites (LBC, rig rentals, etc.) that have built in escrow and/or other protections, those I really don't consider as little/nothing was risked.
1897  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] Small amount of BTC with Paypal - looking to gain trust on: September 03, 2014, 02:50:00 PM
Well the only way for me to gain trust is for someone to sell me something.  Can be a small amount at first.

And for the 100th time, YES I KNOW I AM A NEWBIE. YOU DONT NEED TO POST HERE AND TELL ME THAT AGAIN.

No, there are several ways. You may as well offer other means of payment as Paypal is very risky.

Looking to buy a small amount of BTC with Paypal so I can become trusted.  It is very hard to become trusted at first if no one will sell you anything!  I have a verified Paypal account and am willing to agree to your terms.  Please let me know if you can help.

You can build trust with buying things too. Or use local bitcoins, that's usually hassle free.

Or.. You can buy some of my coins Smiley

1899  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Selling $500 Amazon Gift cards at 15% on: September 02, 2014, 04:07:38 AM
Hello Everyone,
I'm new here, though not to BTC (barely).  From time to time I get $500 Amazon Gift Cards as compensation for my freelance work instead of a proper bonus, like cash (love my job). I'm looking to get rid of them at a fair price and I am willing to use escrow,  please feel free to ask me any questions hopefully I can find a few people here to trade with.

Thanks in advance for reading!

I hope everyone protects themselves in light of the recent gift card scams.
