IMO, if you vouch for someone you are basically co signing for them and should be held responsible for their actions of anything vouched for. If the voucher is not also held responsible what is the value of the vouch?

Well I had no coins for quite a bit, however I got about 40 dollars worth and want to do small micro-loans. Here are my rates, if you cannot reach them then we may be able to reach a agreement.
Without collateral
- Max 0.005
- Must be Full Member+
- Must have good trading system
Rate is 10% per day
Max loan time is 2 weeks
With collateral
I accept gamblers, must make a pretty darn good collateral and intrest rate.
- Max 0.02
- Must be Full Member+
Rate is 5% per day
Max loan time is 2 weeks
Collateral must be 115%
Note: if the loaned money is not send within the agreed time frame, you will owe 15% per day, I have the right to collect the collateral any time after the payment is late
If the collaterals value decreases 10% then I will collect the money.

I will not provide a template, someone who deserves a loan should be capeable of writing one out on there own.
I strongly suggest any and all collateral be held by a trusted third party escrow. |

This is a classic example of why "reputation loans" are usually a scam. Take a look at the Rep. building loans. Small amounts with unusually high interest rates and quick repay times. The user then progresses to larger amounts and almost always asks for multiple loans at the same time or in a close time frame. The terms have increased to much longer pay back times and interest rates to hook you in. Hey, he paid the others back didn't he so these must be a certain money maker. Take a look at the first Rep builder: Small amount and uber high interest, 100%! All of this is for appearances that the user making the request is honest when in fact he is a "confidence man". Let's not forget the usual accompaniment of sob/hard luck stories: Lost job, lost home, lost playing poker, car accident, hacked accounts and so on. Always protect yourself and your coins from these predators. Use escrow when possible and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  |

Why didn't he/doesn't he give that info? Good question. Only reason I can see would be to hedge against the explosion/devaluation of mining products. No address given, delay, delay until they are worth little or possibly something better came along, then demand a full refund. BOTH are guilty of delays but yet there is still no address to send the items to. If you want to know more, read through the OP. All this has been covered in the OP. At this point, all that will happen is more copy and pasted posts. |
