2101  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.25 BTC 7% Interest 30days - btcjam on: June 04, 2014, 03:43:51 AM
How is there NOT a risk?

Well what about ::

I have my passport, my address verified in the website / Credit Check is being verified aswell and will be verified soon.

I have had ebay for over 8 years, paypal over 2-3 years. And if i default, i will be hunted down by debt collectors and i will be in BIG BIG trouble, i have also given access to coinbase to allow BTCjam take payments out of my bank account so they have protection if i were to default (which i wont)

So in all seriousness, there is no risk after all. I would not risk getting my referals on facebook being messaged saying why did you default on 0.25btc, it's ridiculous to think that i would.

Meaningless. Btcjam loans are defaulted almost daily and nothing is done about it. Nothing. You are high risk, only Trust you have is a negative, All your accounts could be stolen or throw away accounts.
Reputation loan is a huge red flag.
I ask again: How is this no risk?

If it isn't tangible, Paypal won't back it. Been this way long before Bitcoin.
2105  Economy / Lending / Re: Full time Miner + DayTrader looking for 10BTC Investor on: June 02, 2014, 11:47:10 AM
Collateral isn't something you hold, the lender does. If you don't even have it, how can it be collateral?
2106  Economy / Lending / Re: requesting .01 btc loan on: June 01, 2014, 11:51:51 PM
.011 btc will be paid within 2 days if not 10 percent increase everyday after that

Hi,

I decide to mine a little with asic 10Gh/s. I don't want to make lot of money but I play just for fun and contribute to Bitcoin.

Can somebody help me to choice a pool with less commission and fee ? (because I think I'll not mine a lot with just 10Gh/s)

Thank you

A few seconds looking and you would have found it yourself: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104664.0

Thanks for this answer. Perhaps I'm not clear sorry. With your experience what is the best choice for a beginner like me with 10ghs Smiley

Read the list. It shows fee percentages and whatnot. I don't endorse any pool, do your research and choose a pool. Happy mining.

BE WARNED BTCNG IS A SCAM. I SENT HIM 0.992 BTC SINCE TUESDAY 13TH MAY AND HE DID NOT PAY ME. SELLERS/BUYERS PLEASE NOTE AND LETS CLEAN THIS FORUM FROM FRAUDSTERS LIKE THIS.
2110  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy ~0.5 BTC Paypal on: June 01, 2014, 04:38:21 AM
I wouldn't suggest purchasing with paypal as people would think you are doing it to scam as you can do a chargeback.

I never charge back however, that's the point, I have bought countless times and show me one post of someone saying I charged back.

With red mark no one going to sell you BTC through paypal better try virwox.com

I understand that point, however in my defense the bad reputation was given to me with no basis by clearly stupid individuals.

You are shady at best and now back at the Paypal scheme. Stupid or not, you are not trustworthy. Period.
2111  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.05BTC loan on: June 01, 2014, 03:26:10 AM
The original 0.055BTC transaction is now also confirmed. Funny how I have "45 minutes" to send the BTC or you will liquidate my LTC, and I get told to send a second BTC transaction as the first is too slow, yet you are still holding both my BTC and LTC hours later after the original "slow" BTC transaction has confirmed.  Roll Eyes

The problem is you wasted people's time. I warned you but you didn't listen. Buying trust is not the same as buying a sandwich and you are very lucky you don't have several negatives. I sincerely hope you learned from this experience and won't try trust buying again.
I am sure you will get your funds back, just exercise a little patience.
2112  Economy / Services / Re: Knuckles Escrow Service on: May 31, 2014, 08:10:08 PM
Willing to Escrow for 1.25%(under 5 BTC) fee. Im new and want to establish a escrow presence everyone can trust and love. Cause how else did everyone else start out? probably the same way i am. message me for skype information or feel free to PM me. I'm considering this a Original Post, for all successful escrow trades!!! Thanks for everyones consideration!!!

You will most likely need a lot more Trust before you can be a useful escrow.

First try the in-depth guide posted here...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0

and follow the directions posted by unacceptable up there /\ so people can get a clearer idea of how to help  Wink

Have you googled instructions or checked out you-tube?
Once you get going the set-up shouldn't take more than 20 mins

My browser won't connect to my miner. The browser says it couldn't find the IP address I typed

You have to be in the same IP range. I gave you easy, step by step directions.

I followed them and when I typed the IP address it says. Oops Google chrome could not find 192.168.1.99

Did you change your adapter to 192.168.1.xx?
2115  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.05BTC loan on: May 31, 2014, 04:04:09 AM
Well, I'm happy to give the person that loans me 0.05BTC some profit, that's part of borrowing. I dont' see how my request for a loan is any less genuine than if I had said "need to borrow 0.05BTC to buy a sandwich for lunch, will repay after I get my pocket money"...other than I was truthful about my motivations for requesting a loan in the first place.

It's viewed as buying Trust. It could also get you flagged.

2117  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.05BTC loan on: May 31, 2014, 03:43:17 AM
Suggestions? I don't need the money, but I am trustworthy and I want to prove that I am. I can offer loans if that's a better approach?
It takes time to build trust. Be a contributor to the forum or buy/sell/trade. You don't have to do large trades, gradually build up your Trust. Loans can cost you coins and done improperly cost you Trust as well.
2118  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.05BTC loan on: May 31, 2014, 03:38:37 AM
Purely to build trust. I will offer 3LTC as collateral. Happy to use escrow if fee is 1%. Loan will be repaid in tomorrow at 5PM EST.

Trust loans are frowned upon. Try using other ways to build your Trust, those will go further to prove you can be trusted.
2119  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: May 31, 2014, 03:36:06 AM
I MINED FOR OVER 12 HOURS AND HAD "ZERO SHARES" AND NOTHING ADDED TO MY UNCONFIRMED OR CONFIRMED BALANCES

SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT'S GOING ON....Huh?
(been mining slush on and off for awhile noe)....shares registered under my worker, but not in statistics under blocks found.....

blocks found isn't your reward for work done, if you have "Current shares","Score" and "MHash/s*" all showing numbers your doing fine.

Current round has been going for 12hrs +, so you haven't been rewarded yet for previous work.

You should have started 4hrs earlier you would have a heap in unconfirmed.

Look at the Statistics page you can see what's going on. Wink
LOOK....I UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT....WHAT I AM SAYING IS: UNDER THE "STATISTICS" PAGE, YOU KNOW THE PAGE THAT DISPLAYS ALL BLOCKS FOUND AS THEY ARE CONFIRMED?....NOW GENERALLY IT SHOWS YOU HOW MANY SHARES YOU ACQUIRED AFTER THE BLOCK HAS BEEN CONFIRMED, "RIGHT?"......EVERY BLOCK IN THIS WHOLE TIME SAID I HAD "0" SHARES IN EVERY CONFIRMED BLOCK I PARTICIPATED IN....AND HAVEN'T SEEN "ANYTHING" IN UNCONFIRMED REWARD"....THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH NO REWARD FOR MY WORK (1ST TIME I THOUGH MY FAULT, 2ND TIME...NOT MY FAULT).............SO, SHOULD I HAVE SHARES IN THE STATS PAGE ON CONFIRMED BLOCKS OR NOT?

Caps aren't helping, please adjust keyboard.

8 rigs in a rack, CAT5e cables all coiled up nicely, no damage and been this way for years. Maybe I'm just lucky.
