301  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 04, 2023, 12:37:39 PM
This is what I dislike most with casinos, such as this one is not worth using anymore, just change casinos with the same or similar service and try to replicate this luck you defined. The moment I was reading what you wrote, I suspected that it might be your luck shining that caused this restriction, and lo and behold, you made mention of it. This is not a fair casino and it's not worth using since they cannot guarantee you the service others are benefiting.

It's still good that they didn't delay your withdrawal, after all, it's still about bonus denial, so you should weigh your options around it.
Any casino would never sustain their business if they are always defeated by the players. Once they notice that they are always at the losing end, surely they will find ways on how to protect their business even to the extent of putting restrictions to their loyal players. It’s always expected by the way even if we resort to thinking that what they did is not fair and very harsh to their loyal players. So it’s either you stay to their casino and follow their rules, or find another reputable casino that you can play games fairly.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: October 03, 2023, 09:40:24 PM
Let's settle this! Based on your experience which game is more likely to bring a big win - slots, table games or crypto games?

On one hand, I know slots bring in large X's, but it is quite rare and you have to be really lucky. On the other hand, I saw people get massive multipliers on crypto games like Crash after a couple of minutes of playing. So which is it?
I believe all can bring you enormous profits if you have the luck and skills to play them smartly. But we all know luck does not happen to everyone of us. And when it comes to these games, slots is certainly the one which gives higher amount of profits but the chances to lose your funds is also very big. That's the reason why most gamblers do prefer to play crypto games most especially if they have the skills to win them, than to rely on luck alone which we don't know exactly when we will be having that luck.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ~If you must trade~ on: October 03, 2023, 08:50:39 PM
I was having this strong contemplation, between emotion and patience which factor affects traders the most.

If you take a microscopic view of the two "Emotion and patience" you would see that emotion gave birth to patience, meaning that if you remove emotion from attaching it to your trading decisions, you will be patient or at peace with your trades, in the sense that you won't be in a hurry to take trades, close trades unnecessarily, and generally you will be patient with trading set up and conditions to be met.
Being patient is part of your emotions, but being emotional when it comes to trading is always a bad idea since it will push you to  buy at market tops and sell at a market bottom. When that happens, you are not trading the way how it should be but you are doing it for a loss. However, being patient in trading is certainly the best possible emotion you should adopt. If patience is not present, I don't think trading will come out worthwhile and profitable in the end.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Educate yourself to be a frugal gambler on: October 03, 2023, 03:21:49 PM
Play for fun. If you are not playing for fun, you are doing it wrong. Gambling should be done to entertain yourself only, and always remember that gambling is not a sound financial investment. I have witnessed the horrors of people who blow their kids college funds and life savings on gambling at a Casino. Don't be one of these people. Have a daily or weekly gambling budget and learn which games you like and how to play them so that you can actually have much more fun playing them than just winging any game.
That's how it should be. Gambling is not a source to earn money so relying on the profit you can possibly get when you gamble is not really right. Because you're not even certain if you can double your money when you use it to play.

Therefore, it's just right to gamble with a desire of having fun. So you can enjoy the games and you'll not be pressured to win because your reason for playing is to entertain yourself. If only many gamblers can have this mindset, then we can prevent seeing them becoming addicted due to lack of self-control.
It’s really easy to say to just gamble with the desire of having fun, but when you start making unexpected profits from gambling, suddenly your purpose is not just to have fun but to earn profits as well. That’s how majority of the gamblers have turned into more greedy and more profit centered because they have started to taste the profits in gambling. But for those who are still newbies in gambling, most probably their main goal for now is just to have fun and find entertainment.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin and forget the investment on: October 02, 2023, 09:54:24 PM
Yes. Invest in bitcoin and don’t monitor it more often, or better yet forget about it so you won’t be pressure of its price fluctuations. Most of the time, if you are too greedy for your profits, you tend to check your investment most often and when the price suddenly drops, you become emotionally bothered. When that happens, you turn into panic selling so you won’t lose more. If this what you do, then you are not investing for profits but definitely investing and make you the losing end. Invest in long term because that’s the only way your desired goal will be achieved.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 29, 2023, 04:11:27 PM
If you let it affect your relationship, yes.

The thing is that this type of discussion only comes up when you either took it out of the line and gambled against your partner's wishes, or you're falling into gambling addiction and it's starting to take a toll on your relationship. Either way you recognize that there's a problem, and you pretty much know what the solution is. I don't go against partners that are not happy with their husbands/wives gambling. For one, it's true that there are other ways for you to find catharsis and relaxation if the only thing you're looking for is entertainment and thrill anyway, another would be the fact that gambling shouldn't even warrant a serious discussion between you two. If it comes to that point you're pretty much fucked and you either have to choose between keeping up with your addiction, or staying within the relationship.
If you cross your limits in gambling, obviously it will sure to create an effect on a relationship. That’s the problem with most of the die hard gamblers because they seem to be uncontrolled when it comes to fighting their urge from gambling. Except for those who know how to deal with gambling risks and has develop discipline from it, maintaining their relationship with their partners in life would be easy to handle.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 29, 2023, 03:17:57 PM
Looking to get some real-world feedback on trading bots, the pros, the cons and the most important question... do they work?

So please, only comment below if you're actively using trading bots and how successful they are.
I'm not really good at trading so I try bots thinking that it help me and expecting this would change my mind about leaving trading. Unfortunately, the results never met my expectations, for me, it was a failed attempt. I've found out that trading bots is useless if you as a trader don't have knowledge about trading. I'm not sure if hiring someone to set up the bots instead of doing it personally is a good idea, but I don't think so. Because the only ticket for us in order to succeed in trading is to become knowledgeable about this.
Trading bots does not bring magic to your trades. What you need in trading is your potential as a trader, and the best of your knowledge and skills that will help you improve your trading career. Those who have succeeded from using trading bots are probably professional traders as well, otherwise if you are just a beginner trader and you resort into using these trading bots, definitely they will not be working either.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 29, 2023, 01:07:51 PM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.
Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.

That's pretty basic thing to understand. If you are a gambler, you should know your chance of winning, and the more realistic you are, the better you will be able to employ the right approach. Yes, there are games that are considered luck-based and skill-based games. You can't interchange them. When we say luck-based games, it's a game that you are betting against the house, and of course, they have the house edge as that makes their business thrive and stay profitable even in the long run.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 29, 2023, 12:17:43 PM
[....]
With all of that, I only agree with Patrick Beverley. As a defensive player fan, I am always keen to those who plays hard on defense. Jrue Holiday is one of the defensive masters either defending a guard or a big man, it doesn't matter to him. Bucks has their offensive player on Giannis, what they need is a wingman for him and it's not Jrue that should've taken out. It should be Middleton! Ever since he became an All-Star, the fire on him is almost gone.
I can say he dodged a bullet here because Trail Blazers may have not liked him, and the Bucks was forced to trade Jrue.
Trade is a two-way street. Maybe Middleton was offered initially but the Blazers didn't want him probably due to his injuries and recent performance as well. Let's remember that Giannis is also asking questions on how serious the Bucks management are in winning another championship so the pressure is there to make moves that will likely make their franchise player happy and not leave as a free agent. Now is it the best trade for them? Probably not but let's see.
But there are news though that Jrue will be traded as well or the Blazers are going to used him as a trade bait to get young players or maybe future picks as they have to start their rebuilding as Dame is no longer their franchise players.

I do agree though, it's a two way street, maybe Jrue is a good defending and a offensive player, but Dame offer so much depth to the Bucks and with Giannis, they could be pose to be one of the most dominant duo next season. So for me, it's a win-win situation for both teams.

There has to be a change made by the Bucks as they didn't have a good playoffs last season. Imagine, they were the top team, and yet they lost to the Miami Heat, who were only in the play-in tournament. There's some kind of curse the Heat have on the Bucks as they could dominate this strong team. I guess the Bucks will get better with Lillard; at least they will have a clutch player who could take the last shot, which Giannis could not do as he is very predictable.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 28, 2023, 09:49:12 PM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses
Those successful stories made out of gambling are the reasons why these young individuals have resorted into gambling believing that they will easily get rich here just like what those successful gamblers have experienced. As an outcome, they become hesitant to finish their education first and chose to gamble instead because of the winning opportunities that it comes to offer. At the end of the day, they only come to realized that there's more opportunities to lose in gambling than to expect consistent winnings.
311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: September 28, 2023, 08:40:25 PM
We all know the high risk that is associated with bitcoin but it will be a lot high risky if you invest in bitcoin without making yourself knowledgeable about it. Yes, knowledge is power and without knowledge you are doomed. However, if you are aware of its risk and you know exactly how to mitigate it, then it will be easier for you to overcome it and still end up successful and profitable with bitcoin.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 28, 2023, 02:20:40 PM
It is quite confusing that there is not specific definition of a professional gambler and also that America is one of the countries with strict gambling taxation law. But America is making money from gambling taxes, they shouldn't ban gambling. It just makes no sense.

In my country, gambling winnings are not taxed. It is considered more of a recreational activity than a source of income. This though is likely to change as more gambling organizations are created. The government may wake up one day and demand a piece of the gambling pie.

America cannot ban gambling, as they generate significant tax revenue from a billion-dollar industry. Major sports like MLB, NFL, NBA, and others are responsible for a large portion of these bets, and it benefits the government to allow more gambling sites to operate legally. As long as proper tax enforcement is implemented, there's little chance they will consider banning the entire gambling industry.
The United States is a country with all kinds of laws and regulations related to gambling. Currently, the gambling industry is one of the biggest contributors to the country's revenue. Gambling companies pay tax to the government and the funds remitted by those companies are invested in various projects in the country.

In such a situation, if any harm occurs to these industries, they will lose huge revenue as well as their development activities may be affected. Moreover, in the United States, Every individual have freedom. If someone enjoys entertainment by spending his money on gambling, the government of the country will not interfere. Moreover, the law is respected in their country. If someone violates the prescribed law, he will surely be punished. Because they legislate holistically, gambling in their country will not be banned.

Of course, who would let go of a billion dollars yearly income from the casinos.

We can find the data on the list   National tax revenue from commercial casinos in the United States in 2022, by state

And here's an interesting fact ;

Quote
National tax revenue from commercial casinos in the U.S. 2022, by state
Published by Statista Research Department, Sep 7, 2023
The national tax revenue from commercial casinos in the United States was highest in Pennsylvania, New York, and Nevada in 2022. Tax revenue of commercial casinos in the state of Nevada amounted to approximately 1.15 billion U.S. dollars that year.

They collect a significant amount of taxes, but gambling is not making the lives of the majority of gamblers difficult. For the majority, gambling is just treated as a form of entertainment. This is unlike in poor countries where some treat it as a source of income even when they can't.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have a clear understanding of what DCA means on: September 28, 2023, 09:59:33 AM
It's crucial to watch how the market goes up and down and change your DCA plan if needed.
The whole point of using DCA is not having to consistenly check the market and obsess & stress about price fluctuations. Instead, you are supposed to buy the bitcoin at the regular intervals no matter the current price, beliveing that price in the long term will go up.

What you explained is basically trying to time the market, which in the end is more about luck than anything else and is opposite of DCA.

Regardless of how the market moves and whatever its price at the moment, DCA is still encouraged since the whole point of it is to mitigate risks by buying at different prices, as long as your goal is to hold them for longer term by not panicking whenever a current price dump occurs. That is to lower the risk from market volatility, and to increase your chances of making you profitable when you decide to sell them at a very reasonable price.
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KYC matter? on: September 27, 2023, 09:10:40 PM
It is good to point to the fact that people should not leave coins on exchanges because any exchange can be hacked and because the person do not have complete control over his coins.
To the point
But as I shared my thinking, you lose more than on just your cryptocurrency when you KYC and that exchange turns to scam. Scam exchanges double scam you by: stealing your cryptocurrency; stealing your KYC document.
That is the reason why centralized exchanges will never be a safe avenue for our cryptos. Aside that KYC is compulsory, once the exchange was hacked, we can never get back the personal details we have disclosed. Which means they are free to use our KYC details if ever they will use it for other transactions. And that creates a bigger risk for us, and a higher chance of losing our crypto without us knowing.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Education. on: September 27, 2023, 02:38:39 PM
I don’t see it wrong bringing gambling education at schools since it could pave way for the kids awareness about gambling. However, my point is instead of educating them, it could even trigger their interest and curiosity to try out gambling and talk about their experience. That’s even a serious problem if ever.

I believe people gamble not because they are less knowledgeable about it, but maybe because they don’t have stable jobs that will pay them good compensation. So they try out their luck in gambling and believe that it could give them instant profits. They gamble not to make them entertained but because they are gambling to earn a living.
316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Even the official links aren't safe anymore. on: September 27, 2023, 11:45:20 AM
Thanks for the awareness OP but yeah, I also believe that even official links are not completely safe so one should still exercise with caution. And the fact that the site is giving you a free money without any deposits, well that’s odd. That alone is already a red flag. I have not experienced this but I think the Houbi exchange has issued an explanation about that. Try to visit again their site and probably you can see some reviews same to what you experienced, that will answer your doubts about houbi exchange.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: September 27, 2023, 06:24:07 AM
For gamblers who like to spend a lot of time gambling, having plenty of casinos is nice as it provides a better experience. As the crypto gambling industry continues to grow, the competition is also improving. So, sticking with just one casino may not be ideal. It's similar to being a shopper who wants to find the best value. Of course, you would try different stores as they have various offers and discounts. This approach can provide more satisfaction as a gambler.

As long as all the casinos maintain a good reputation in the space, I don't see anything wrong with it.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 26, 2023, 06:18:11 PM
If it's still not legalized, that doesn't mean you should be afraid of holding or selling Bitcoin, as long as there's no specific law yet to penalize it. The term 'not legalized yet' and 'declared illegal' are two different things. The former can be considered somewhat positive, as there's still hope it will become legal in the future. However, if they declare it illegal, that means you should avoid violating the law, especially if the penalties are severe.

You can still own Bitcoin, but do so at your own risk.

Also, keep in mind that halving does not automatically present an investment opportunity. There's no guarantee that what we've witnessed in the past will be the same scenario in the future. The market is full of hype, making it riskier, so it's essential to exercise caution.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do No Send Your Bitcoin To Your New Hardware Wallets I Do This! on: September 26, 2023, 05:43:54 PM
For me, as long as the wallet provider is legitimate enough, the kind of tests you recommended might not be necessary. It's advisable to store in a hardware wallet as it's safer compared to just letting your crypto sit in exchanges. So, if the most trusted wallet provider is not reliable, then it would affect the entire ecosystem, as people might think that storing crypto on any device or platform is not safe anymore, which could lead to a drop in interest to hold.
320  Economy / Gambling / Re: casino rating on: September 25, 2023, 02:22:50 PM
Ratings can be biased because they are based on individual experiences, and we never know the credibility of the rater. The poster above is right; just check their ANN thread. If you don't see any bad feedback and the thread is active with forum members of higher ranks sharing their feedback and participating in discussions, that's an indication that they are a reputable gambling site.
