1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good one for invest on: August 27, 2022, 04:31:06 PM
Obviously its big scam.

What you showing us is almost 90% ROI within 30 mins. Now think for a moment, if that company has some sort of method to generate so much revenue so that they can pay you this much amount, would not they do it themselves and live happily ever after?

It's not even a project which one should be thinking about considering that single screenshot. If you are going to just try it out with $1 then also dont dare because you aint gonna get it back. Thats the kinda scam it is.
1482  Economy / Economics / Re: Thought: how far can you go in a career without going against your principles on: August 27, 2022, 02:18:12 PM
The simple way to workout on this is: Be yourself and let others follow you! There is no harm in following your own principles and you can go beyond the skies with yourselves. Never believe in movies, sometimes they are the one whose rooting bad ideas on our minds and we start to relate that in real world due to unconscious thoughts and surroundings.

Your principles, if you have set them properly then write this down other peeps will follow you and try to mimic the success in their lives. Never forget how big personalities formed around us, they were enthusiastic about their work, shown at most dedications and went against the world.
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes claims that more than half of Bitcoin trade records are fake on: August 27, 2022, 10:25:46 AM
During the big block debate. It was claimed that some miners were filling BTC blocks to less than full capacity. Blocks 1 megabyte in size might contain less than 300 KB of actual data. This was back when there was a push to increase block size to 2 megabytes or larger.

Bitcoin transaction volume being one indicator that traders use in an effort to gauge demand. It is possible that some will send bitcoin from one wallet they own, to another. To artificially boost transaction volume and produce artificial demand. There are other motives for the practice.

Its a real world case for why building a better system won't necessarily deter unwanted actors from carrying out questionable schemes. People like to argue that capitalism or socialism will systemically prevent evil. But if people are determined enough, they can usually find loopholes in any system. As none are ever perfect.

Thats some fact there. It does prove that no matter how elegant system you build there will always be loop holes to that which can destroy the system inside out. However, in crypto space they are using it to manipulate the way trading works and to attract more clients in their data base. Even noob coming on an exchanger based on the volume perspective since it holds importance of getting any coin traded quickly. This ensure fast service for them and thus they would go and spend at least couple of hundred in their tenure over an exchanger. Now, on the world wide scale this can sum up to millions of dollars getting traded and exchangers fat wallets getting even fatter! Definitely way to adulterated business which comes with seven star service at the reception.

Last 3 days left on the price betting events on bitcoin and ethereum. The tables have turned now because of the dump yesterday from $24k to $21k.
Volatility is high so may be it will be difficult to predict the prices this time. But the risk is worth it because of attractive returns on the price ranges.
What are you guys planning to bet on ?
[...]
[...]
Easy profit for FUN tokens but they could be very small too because if you look at the ranges, $0.007501 - $0.010000 is at @1.24 odds only. And 3 days remain before the close of the market.

Yup the range is small, profits are tiny but dont forget the risk is also tiny in this one. Profits will surely follow your wallet if you invest wisely on such bets.
Moreover, to increase the return on investment you can always wager your bet on the first day of it's availability. This will add more % share to you as Time Wager Multipler. Well that's an added advantage from freebitcoin for those who wants to play safe and still want handsome profits on the way.

Recently rugby is launched, I am not sure how much games are profitable but every time I bet on them, the results are always opposite one. It's really funny but true.  Grin

At least that does not happen with FUN betting and we can have good profits no matter what the amount is.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SatsGoal - The Bitcoin Accumulation Calculator on: August 26, 2022, 06:56:44 PM
Congratulations for making the good project like this. I believe you have imagined all the scenarios while programing this calculator. You have not only added the growth algorithm in the calculator but also given option to add the prices of bitcoin manually at particular date and same can be done with multiple date instances.

This is perfect one to understand how much and at what rate we will have our bitcoins in the future. Helpful tool when it comes to future hodling of the bitcoin. This can give great insights to long term holders and with the changing prices feature one can have the goals pre-set and understand the trading strategy too.

Decent user interface.  Cheesy
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: More Americans Than Ever Can’t Afford to Pay Their Electric Bill on: August 26, 2022, 05:55:25 PM
USA always comes to me as big surprise. The continent is really wide and prospering, yet it has such problems which are seen by under developed or developing countries. The fact that they have less population as compared to other developing countries and yet they are able to fulfil the fuel/energy needs of their peeps is amusing. USA over the time has kept their reliance on the outsourcing a lot and thus they are more or less reducing in numbers of employment causing direct impact on what they earn per capita. Subsequently bills are looking bigger than bread and butter due to such situation.

Changing source of energy is not a problem. They should reduce the consumptions with day light savings or some other measures which can save up back ups on the substations and bring down the prices by using Demand-Supply formula. Works in most of the asian countries with highly dense population.
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 25, 2022, 06:37:22 PM
Definitely big no. In particular trading itself shall be taken cautiously by freshers because they start with whole new energy but put it into wrong way and end up loosing money. Just like you are having thought of futures trading is something strange. It’s not bad, it’s one of the prime way to trade and earn even higher profits but it’s highly risky and needs enormous experience to deal with. Better off with regular trading, then understanding your assets and then putting options and futures trade to earn big. This should be short roadmap you supposed to follow. It’s really thing of patience!
1488  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 24, 2022, 05:12:50 PM
It's not easy mate. I have myself tried to do this in the past but failed and I am still struggling to establish my own business. If you don't have credibility and perfect project proposal then no bank or lender will give you any sort of financial input. The problem in any business is to have that "initial" capital and resources. Most of the weightage however goes to the capital only.

Based on you available funds you can allocate budget to various stuff like marketing, office space, salaries, expertise to hire and what not. Obviously this I am speaking out of the experience of setting an office related to trading of raw materials.

This could be entirely different for businesses like farming material or IT sector etc. However basic model remains the same for all.

With even one factor out of hands one can struggle a lot. No matter what you explain to others you will always get one foot back if things ain't properly stacked.

So always choose wisely, look at the things available in your hands. Being confident is good, being overconfident is biggest failure.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Updates on: August 24, 2022, 02:25:20 PM
I am wondering how the CEO Terra Luna is able to do this again?  From where these peeps get their nerves or strength thinking that they can get away with what happened in the past and still market their product.

In fact he is so confident that he has not even changed the name for the project and made it version 2.0 So what does he wants us to think here? Whether LUNA 2.0 is gonna be worst than what it done to us in the previous version. ROFL!!

I am pretty sure we have to keep our hands away from this person's project forever. Peeps are anti-Elon! But LUNA, dam, it was nuke in the crypto world.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: August 23, 2022, 05:24:42 PM
you forgot to include coinsbit, yobit and p2pb2b even these three sites are also full of bots and create fake trading volumes so I'm not interested in going there, I feel the 3 trading sites above have the same 1 boss, but it's true you said we were played by trading volume fake so we are stuck on one trade that cost us, i am not an active trader as i prefer to invest long term now

Yeah I remember yobit. It was going really hot in the initial years and it was not so later when many of us figured out something is fishy in that zone. Soon after that exchanger got into trouble due to such acts. Slippage is not best way to manage any exchanger it’s just one of the reason to hide the bull shit behind the curtains. I am also concerned about the way you are publishing all these things. This ain’t that much professional. You should “hire” someone to reciprocate your agenda and then enter into the market. This looks more fishy when you post randomly from such new account.
1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years ago mined 50 Bitcoin just moved on: August 23, 2022, 03:17:44 PM
Salute to the miner who did not even touch the bitcoins when bitcoin was at its peak after 2017. I mean come on at that time the valuation of those mined coins would have been more than that.

Here is short “rough” journey of this guy as per the highest peaks for year to year basis.

2011 - $30 - $1,500
2013 - $1,000 - $ 50,000
2014 - $ 600 - $ 30,000
2017 - $ 19,000 - $ 9,50,000
2020 - $ 29,374 - $ 14,68,700
2021 - $ 68,000 - $ 34,00,000

That’s wider ups and downs. Turning $1,500 into multi million wallet, that’s something impossible from bitcoin.
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is no one worried about this on: August 21, 2022, 02:38:47 PM
Even if it was not a fake rumour, is the 2 billion worth of Bitcoins (approximately, 93,652 BTC at the moment which is 0.49% of the total circulating supply) going to be sold off at once?
If no, then why should we have to worry?
The market will absorb the shock.

Opens all the senses really after looking at the circulation of bitcoin and its fiat value that’s traded every single day! Definitely this won’t have any effect on the bitcoin however there will be effect of “FUD”, “FOMO” kinda things and nothing else.

However, there is another theory by various sources and some are saying it was planned dumping to cause the flipping of bitcoin and ethereum. In this case ETH would go up by 30% etc. This event is to overcome BTC by ETH.

Quote
Some have even theorized that a drawdown in Bitcoin’s price could align with the Ethereum merge, leading to “The Flippening” being realized. The Flippening is a hypothetical event where Ethereum overtakes Bitcoin in market cap, and it could happen if Bitcoin dropped to $10,000, with Ethereum rising by 30% from its current price.

Definitely it’s something on top of just selling mt Gox funds and liquidation of over 2.8 billion plus in dollars.

Reference: Will release of $3B Bitcoin from Mt Gox cause market bottom in August?

What are you guys planning to bet on ?

I was thinking about the same today. Plan minimum is FUN ($0.007501 - $0.01), but odds are very low (as always), 1.15. ETH made a very good progress recently, but last days' dump moved it back to $1,501 - $1,750 range (odds 3.45). And if we believe it will stay there, it would be a good option.
Similar situation is with BTC, but here the 2nd range ($20,001 - $22,500) has lower odds (2.76). I will wait 1-2 days more (this month I did not do any early bets) and if situation will be the same, I will bet on ETH.

Well that’s logical, the odds are tiny because everyone understand it will end in the same scale and everyone would be winner. The Share will be tiny but it also depends on how much have you invested in that scale? If odds are tiny then it becomes bull investment while on the other hand if odds are big and multiplier is huge then definitely you need to hold your horses while investing. The second would give you lot of money but risk is at its best.
However, in case of FUN, it’s really making smaller moves so I bet it’s more than okay to invest in bulk in the bottom odds. Easy profits.
1494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Average crypto futures trader monthly salary is 9000$-30,000$ on: August 21, 2022, 10:43:19 AM
This guy always amazes me with his posts. They are always without sources, without any logic and without any second thoughts. Now what the hell he is talking about here? 9k was fine but the upper limit is 30k per month and that’s insane salary and moreover you can also attract sweet raid from income tax revenue department. They would be amazed to see this much income from individual person every month just from trading.
I highly doubt that anyone can go this big. This would need team of 3-5 pees for sure and that too with experts.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are all Hodlonaut on: August 21, 2022, 08:39:56 AM
We already know CSW is fake and if I have to vote multiple times then the answer is going to be same all the time.   That guy has already looted many peeps with the fake claims and unfortunately there are also followers of the same as you would say every devil has the gang!

Hodlonaut’s claim already has great points and their community is going to grow many folds when the court is opened and session starts. It would be interesting to see reaction of Craig when he goes down further the pothole.

Sometimes people have all the tools they need on their hands to finish a solid building, however, since they don't know how to use them properly, it will look like they constantly need more and more tools indefinitely.

Not just that, many times peeps have all the assets and bank balance they can have but start to loose it over the period of time due to the fact that their money is sitting around and they just keep spending it without any second thought. This is many times money coming from their fathers and they dont value it. One thing is for sure, the cycle of earning more money needs to go on and on and on, otherwise it takes no time to reduced the wealth just like that. Money comes very hard way and it takes no time while spending it.

It's always better to have multiple income streams, businesses and proper finance management to keep the growth of wealth and then spend whatever the heck we want. Smiley
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SBI decides to withdraw crypto mining completely from Russia on: August 20, 2022, 07:17:58 AM
They are not gonna incur loss from it, all they would do is shift the hardware's into more feasible country. In fact this is great opportunity for them to rethink about the crypto friendly country with less taxes or zero taxes and also more greener energy to run the farms. With the crypto gaining less popularity in the Russia and War conflicts, its already No-Crypto Land in the future.

I believe, SBI can actually plot good strategies ahead and re-establish the firm elsewhere. Currently they are just going down with the revenue, losses would be something like: hardware getting burned down in ashes, ceasing of their assets etc.

However, at this point they have everything in the hand. It's just about how they plan their journey ahead.
1498  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 20, 2022, 04:23:43 AM
The fact that he sent over wrong network is really bugging. I would always check all the details ten times before sending the money because I have taught my brain cells that it's crypto and it's irreversible stuff. You get only one click to do and there is no going back. Reminds me the discussion regarding how one can reverse any transaction that is already confirmed with the help of 51% attack capacity.

Though it's not written on Roobet's ToS, it's always users responsibility to ensure they are inputting correct data and select correct network. That's always return at the time of sending your coins.

However, I am sure, if it is in the hands of Roobet team they will help you out. No doubts against Roobet!
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 19, 2022, 01:21:53 PM
Tell me a project you missed the biggest opportunity on that could have changed your life today...

In 2019 many people hate HEX and called it Ponzi scheme, I have more than 50$ to risk on this coin at the time, I bought some and I got 500,000+ HEX, this cost me around 11$ or so and in November 2021 one HEX turned 0.55$, that's whopping 280,000$ or more.

That was wonderful opportunity mate. What to say, I missed and still missing the bitcoin investment opportunity before 2016. Bitcoin was literally growing at its highest speed and was flourishing over the internet like badass boss. The thing is, I knew about it way before that when few of my colleagues used to discuss about it in pantry over coffee.

I was also actively talking about it but sadly our conversations were more or less negative about and it's use case was very little at the time. We also thought about it as ponzi scheme and there were lot of such schemes over the internet. So that was the opportunity I missed and I dont think I can get it back.
1500  Economy / Economics / Re: Lenders and borrowers during inflation on: August 18, 2022, 02:14:22 PM
Borrower does take huge risk with the loans. I mean if they are borrowing in the high times then they should make sure that they are having good profitable business too. They are borrowing but they should plan and execute their business thoughtfully otherwise how they gonna repay the loan? It's not about how much difference are they getting benefited for the "value" of something but its about how the borrowed money will be returned along with the principal + interest in the high time.

I am stressing on this because, in such inflationary times, business also slows down based on the nature of business. For example, if it bicycle business and we are in inflationary times then why would anyone spend money on it and not on the food reserves or may be healthcare needs etc? This could indirectly affect that kinda business. While on the other hand healthcare, food industries may get benefited as it is the daily need to survive. You can walk if you dont have biycyle but you cant live if you dont have food!

So its not just about borrowing and lending calculations, its also about where the money being invested? Do they have that much returns in the current period? Is it going to stay stable for the tenure of loan and much more!
