1721  Other / Off-topic / Re: I hate small dogs. on: May 26, 2021, 05:28:22 PM

Better to avoid what discomfort them,

That seems to be people, other dogs, and Amazon delivery vans. Unfortunately it is difficult to avoid those categories, so it is easier to avoid the rat-dogs.

As long as the dogs will be well taken care of with their necessary good needs... and they shouldn't feel abandoned or helpless.   Or, there could be people willing to adopt them, who'll understand them better, take good care of them and make them useful to the family. I guess you should check to see if you can find such people
Sorry for the problems they caused you. There can be improved trust between you and them if you need to.  Lots of genuine love will build trust.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: How to protect from inflation? on: May 26, 2021, 04:08:35 PM
Depends on how well the printed money would be used.

I'd probably buy up very useful things(like crypto) that have shared value, I have full control of,  that are limited (or scarce) in supply, have high demand, are easily divisible, benefits "stakeholders" when price goes up and benefits productions of essential/basic goods and services.
I don't think it's a good idea to buy up and hold essential goods/services that keep going up in price and become expensive for others to have
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite NFT? on: May 26, 2021, 03:18:07 PM
I wrote about NTF tokens in this thread:
Everything you need to know about NFTs tokens
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5274952.msg55170814#msg55170814

I traded these tokens and sold them when the market was in good demand.
I do not understand this market and what the buyers are guided by when they pay a lot of money for a picture.
If you understand this, you are already a millionaire Smiley

Some/most could be doing it out of ignorance, for their attractiveness or in hopes of getting wealthy. This is why I think it's better to create very useful thing and put reasonable price tag on them.
If you start making proper or very useful ones that really benefit people without a proper decentralized system, you could see people crawling out of caves demanding that NFTs should be banned or regulated. This is part of the reasons why I remain cautious. There are very useful things  that can be done with NFTs or similar tech.
1724  Other / Off-topic / Something important to note about those living in subhuman conditions (so called Third-Worlders) on: May 26, 2021, 12:34:35 PM
Third World countries are typically denigrating/mocking terms for countries living in subhuman conditions.
I can guarantee you that pictures you see flying around the internet about such people are mostly exaggerated... Doesn't mean there are no poor people/places. There are lots of poor people especially with decent properties.
From my experience, those places are not very common, even in cities. You see them once in a while and you will likely be surprised as a resident when you find them because they are strange and uncommon.
I'm writing this so they don't make you fear becoming a third-worlder when you pursue true independence, or make you fear living in places like that when it's time to flee to safe and affordable environments. I would start trying to get use to proper rural areas and cheap places so that I'm used to them when I found my self there.

The kind of images you see when you Google third world living conditions (images of clusters of poorly jointed roofing sheets, wood, leather/plastic materials etc used for homes) are often a symptom of modernity, people fleeing from crisis or could be mis-application of traditional way of living. They could be poor indigenes, migrants from village etc, abandoned by society or using such places as temporary shelters. Their common wealth and resources are centrally channeled into building so called modern world and they don't have much people in governments close enough in their communities to represent them properly and help them develop decent communities.

Where I'm from, most adults build big, small or standard homes you can find anywhere in the world, mainly with their hard-earned money... This has been going on for very long time till now. People would typically develop large expanse of land in rural places without basic infrastructure like road. The problem is centralized governance has made it difficult to build proper infrastructures in such places and maintain them. Sometimes the communities contribute and build the roads
.

I don't really know why it's is a big deal to build & live in proper/decent homes when bees, birds, beavers, termites, ants etc build their home fairly easily. I guess why this is so is because we live in a world that is too attached to wealth/properties, or glorify/worship them.
1725  Other / Off-topic / Re: All things movies, short film, television and YouTube on: May 26, 2021, 10:31:55 AM
Mine is probably this short animated film about rats called "Happiness" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e9dZQelULDk&feature=youtu.be
It actually reminded me of my life back then when I followed similar routine and lifestyle.

I broke away from such routine/life and never regretted.
Be long I watched TV & movies ever since though.
1726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED? I went into the hospital cam out AND.... on: May 26, 2021, 10:15:40 AM
The price dump should be expected by skilled/experienced traders when they see big short-term money controlled by few people nobody was certain what their purpose was for. I'd be suspicious once i start seeing " centralized money or hugh money controlled by one or few people pouring in just like that.

It's safer when coin supply is well decentralized and held mostly by many independent long-term investors rather than gamblers (big risk takers) or people willing to manipulate/attack the market.
Don't know much about the phase E, by the way. Not sure if i have heard that in trading before.

Wish you well.

1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Ico and Its Uses on: May 26, 2021, 09:29:29 AM
What is an ICO - Initial Coin Offering?

ICO, or Initial Coin offering, is a fundraising method with which new crypto projects can raise money. Typically when starting a startup company, you need fairly good capital investment to get started. You could find angel investors and loans but that involves either having some debt or owing someone money.

With ICOs, startups can create crypto tokens and sell them at a discount to investors looking to invest in new opportunities. Usually, when someone invests with your company, you have to give them a share of the profit. But when you raise funds through ICO, you only give the investors the tokens.
They are not entitled to any ownership of your company or project...

Token/coin owners should be part owner of the project if it's a decentralized(rather than centralized) crypto project... It's shared/decentralized Network participants or investors would help secure.
The project owner could have more right over a "decentralized company" though and can make more money from fees and other means...

1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: May 26, 2021, 09:02:51 AM
I typically see staking (not consensus based Staking like PoS) as an investment to support a Decentralized network, except they pay you interest that isn't guaranteed to be profitable... it's more like holding long-term Bitcoin World.
It's good idea to stake on decentralized/secure networks long-term, Or you could aswell buy a more secure deflationary cryptocurrency longterm and hold the crypto securely to benefit from its long-term price increase.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sometimes wonder whether Bitcoin has established a religion. on: May 25, 2021, 04:48:36 PM
It's OK to support your Nation's founding fathers who selflessly gave their best for the good of the nation, and it's important to stick to the good principles/laws the Nation is built on rather than trying to eliminate or replace the Nation. .That's not religion... It's patriotism

By the way, , there is only one GOD, who is the CREATOR of this World and Heavens. Satoshi doesn't qualify as GOD, neither does supporting Bitcoin qualify as Religion. True Religion is serving the CREATOR of this World in constant purity/holiness.

1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think CBDC's will be interchangable with cryptocurrencies? on: May 25, 2021, 03:53:46 PM
There isn't a lot of difference with CBDC and cryptocurrencies so I think that we won't be resisting to any changes related to this. I think that it is good that CBDCs are being introduced but I think that they should be tested first and have some experiments at a small scale so that whenever the chance of failure were to happen they don't have that much of a damage.
This issue will largely depend on the position of the states that will issue their CBDCs. It should be noted that not all stablecoins of central banks of states will even use blockchain technology. So, the Chinese digitized yuan, which will appear soon, will not use blockchain technology and we still have to study how it will interact with cryptocurrency. So far, there is very little information about this on this forum. Most likely, they will not actually relate to cryptocurrency, although they can interact with it.
However, in general, CBDC can be used as we currently use private stablecoins. The only difference will be in their owner.

Once it's not fully opened to the public/society (who I assume are the real owner) like true cryptocurrencies are, you cannot safely say it's owned by them (the public).
Fiat are supposed to share thesame feature with decentralized crypto rather than being centralized, opaque, mutable, high in permission/trust, weak in privacy/anonymity, etc.  The good/better is constantly slandered while the bad is seen as good... That's the irony in both worlds that the blind cannot see.
1731  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help staying anonymous on: May 25, 2021, 03:10:04 PM
Such webpage or platform would need to be really decentralized, transparent, immutable  for safe use of Anonymity, and without any central/controlling power able to easily de-anonymize you. This will also let the government see that what you are doing is safe and moral. Your articles, posts or data could be attached to Private keys that has immutable copy of your verified Private Identity, while the public keys is use for anonymous identity. This should help society concerned trace those who seriously abuse their Anonymity rights.
I'm not sure we have a webpage/platform as described above. It just has to be done right for safe use.

I'd make sure what I write about a country/government is true, moral, and with no intention to cause harm to society/people.
1732  Other / Off-topic / What is the likelihood that a virus breaches a Cell barrier if this happens? on: May 25, 2021, 02:24:26 PM
Imagine a Human Cell is as large as a City covered in protective bubble/shield.   Many invaders/viruses/microbes surround the City attacking the shield in order to breach it.
What is the likelihood that the protective barrier surrounding a cell get breached by a virus if the barrier is weakened?
What weakens the barrier? Sin/evil, fear, hate, radiation, Bad foods, , etc?   I believe all these combined would weaken it. So, how can society prevent the body/cells from getting exposed to these problems?   Consider the fact that a microbe can stay in human without successfully breaching a strong shield.

If you can solve this problem, you solve the pandemic problem.

1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could someone expect any other coin price can be up as compare to Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2021, 10:27:11 AM
A secure coin with really low supply, high demand and strong/useful decentralized economy that can securely accommodate lots of users for peer-to-peer transactions could easily be as high as Bitcoin in a "short time" and still remains high long-term. Before you join such project, make sure it's safe enough to almost guarantee the high price long-term. An insecure Network could easily lose that if it's hacked or breaks down due to substandard infrastructure/system.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Matic Network coin is consistently outperforming on: May 25, 2021, 09:44:55 AM
How much money/stake is required to be fully part of the Network and take part in consensus/governance? Should be very affordable for most/all visitors who wish to be fully part of the network. If not,  you can't really call it a truely Decentralized Network. It has to be Decentralized enough to let anyone easily run full node and take part in full network consensus. That's a good Principle (Satoshi's Bitcoin standard) truely Decentralized Cryptocurrencies should be based on.
1735  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: May 25, 2021, 09:22:24 AM
Hope this doesn't look like Government is fighting crypto. I believe bad people in governments and others are fighting True Crypto. They'll need to break alots law to "ban" something that's way safer than centralized currency.
Well Decentralized Currency governed by good rules remains the way forward.
1736  Other / Off-topic / A Kingdom ruled by invisible tyrant was conquered by a superior KING. on: May 24, 2021, 05:47:28 PM
The tyrant is feared by many and has great control over those who fear hm. A far more superior KING notice the condition of those enslaved by the tyrant, HE caught the tyrant and put him in a great chain, then asked his enslaved subjects to flee the kingdom before the tyrant wakes up and get unchained. Alot of people listened and flee but most stayed back, misused their freedom and begin to live the way they want.
The tyrant eventually woke up, got unchained and noticed his kingdom has been plundered, with most of the subjects who remained in the kingdom not doing their jobs exactly as he wants them... he was very mad at them.

You either follow the superior KING or risk being overburden when the tyrant wakes up and notice you have not been following your strict slave routine. .
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Organised crime on: May 24, 2021, 04:01:05 PM
Same way it's foolish/lawless to ban bananna because criminals are perverting its usage,  misusing or abusing it.
The wise goes after the criminals and let the good banana be... or even put things in place to prevent the misuse or abuse of bananna.

It's OK to ban bad/unsafe bananna though
1738  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money is the Essence of Remorse. on: May 24, 2021, 03:39:45 PM
Old thread, but still worth commenting on.

I think its better to spend your entire existence doing the good things you have unique ability in, things that bring you happiness/satisfaction... then use that to better others/society.  A fair/just system should rewards you for helping solve important problems with little/no bad side-effects or problems.
So, if money get distributed according to how impactful our solutions are to societies, we will likely have most people using their unique abilities to solve more problems for the benefit of society, which will in turn earn them basic income to take care of their own needs.
1739  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do older bitcoin holders have plans in place for their crypto if they pass away? on: May 24, 2021, 02:52:12 PM
Would be interesting to have some kind of decentralized smart-contract for inheritance transfer.
If you could have coins/assets auto-transfer to the address/addresses of loved one or next-of-kin used on the Inheritance-based smart-contract, you wouldn't be needing centralized middle-men.
Such smart-contract could be set to alert the owner occasionally and privately to confirm whether he is alive/dead. Once the owner stops confirming, it broadcast to the rest of the decentralized network(or directly to the next-of-kin) or send some sort SOS signal which would request other members/participants to verify the real status of the owner, with important information that can be auto-mailed to phone number or contacts of the next-of-kin in secure manner. Once death is confirmed by the next-of-kin, transfer is triggered and coin released to the next-of-kin address/addresses
1740  Other / Off-topic / Re: I hate small dogs. on: May 24, 2021, 01:46:28 PM
I think creatures like that need to be understood. They may be reacting like that when discomforted or maybe trying to let you know something in their dog language that may sound unpleasant to humans but normal/harmless communication/expressions in their dog culture/language. They are probably made in that way for useful purposes.  I tend to think dogs that of different types don't need to be always cheerful, or aggressive, or protective etc.
Better to avoid what discomfort them, and focus more on the good things they like. If that's is try long enough they will learn to trust you. They could be taken where they would be mostly useful, or you let them safely express themselves to understand what department they would be mostly useful.
