1621  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and social mobility - there has to be a relation on: June 18, 2021, 10:39:15 AM
This sounds like modern world problems created by inflationary fiat systems.
If you use a scarce/hard money, it will likely be use as store of value by people from any social/economic status.  Doesn't prevent them from buying assets within the economy using the scarce money. And it will definitely help make the scarce/hard money more valuable and increase its price... than say using mostly foreign currencies in thesame economy.
So, Bitcoin needs to have a strong and thriving economy, preferably decentralized economy, and people will keep climbing the status ladder, if that's what you want.
1622  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you completely block sound from entering your ear? on: June 18, 2021, 09:55:57 AM

Create a sound proof studio then use it to read the joly books or anything you wanted to do in the extreme silence, but this is expensive though. Tongue

By the way I feel that being in an extremely silent place will give us haunted experience than giving space for reading anything.

That's is why I suggested reading Holy Bible/Book. It's the Word of GOD, the word of GOD can easily clean and transform a human heart/spirit, and make that human a changed and better person.
If you continue reading the Holy Book and living a Holy life, you will have more and more encounters with Good/Holy Beings. The Beings will be gentle, encouraging you not to be afraid, and will make you always happy and in Godly Love

It's important to believe while reading. The word is like a seed, it germinates in you, grows in you and gives you life. You need to keep listening to the Words (especially New Testament). And it will continuously make you a better person, and also drive you to love GOD and people always.

*Note that the Beings will never ask you to do evil things, or things that the CREATOR hates. If you read any part that sounds like it's encouraging you to do something bad, it's likely you don't understand the part, so you need to ask questions about such part from good Christians.

I'm curious to know what people do to temporary block noise or unpleasant sound from entering their ears without using noise canceling devices like headphones/earphones or blocking the ears with hands.

I theorize that if you could stay in a quiet isolated place just reading very good books (holy books), fasting and eating little (healthy) meals for one week, you could easily heal the body from lots of diseases, hear the voice of our CREATOR, become really smart, more aware, you could feel more, remember more, understand more, solve very complicated problems, etc
Been trying to achieve zero noise in very noisy environments but it's really hard to achieve without listening to gentle songs.

The best for me is ohropax, I always have them in suitcase when travelling, because you never know who your room mate might be. I am a very light sleeper so having someone who snores around me is the worst, I won't be able to sleep all night. Not sure if you heard about Ohropax, it is small wax balls you put in your ear. If you rub them in your finger for a short period of time they become hot and take on any shape. So they will completely block of everything in your ear.

Sounds very interesting.
Hope it really blocks all/much of the noise from outside of human body, and with little to no bad side effect. I have sometimes used something shaped like the ohropax(just saw the image on the internet) to plug in my ear, it doesn't work really well, so I suspected some noise or external sounds managed to pass through my body, or the device didn't block the ear canal completely to prevent the external sounds.
Your description of the device sound really interesting. Sound like it could do better job at covering the ear canal.

Will research more about the ohropax.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚽Ronaldo / Coca-Cola/ Bitcoin ₿ on: June 17, 2021, 04:44:54 PM
I think he made the right decision. The drink is really bad for the body and could get people easily addicted to it. I wonder if there is any nutritional/good benefit of drinking it. Can they not make it healthy/safe for human consumption?

I think we shouldn't rely too much on popular personalities to increase the price. They could aswell be used to crash it. It should be from stable, decentralized investments and investors

1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: June 17, 2021, 04:13:05 PM
Aside from using clean renewable energy, there should also be efficient use of energy. Little/zero energy should go to waste, in my opinion. I think this was solved by satoshi with him suggesting that heat from miners  be used for other purpose like heating homes/buildings in cold environments.
I think we should be seriously looking for ways to put the heat generated into good use,if it has not been done already.
1626  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 17, 2021, 03:50:16 PM
I actually prefer to rent, not with loan though.
I doubt I could live in a house I built with loan if the house isn't earning me more income.
Besides it's quite risky to build houses that can't easily be moved around to other locations in time of uncertainty.
I never really liked large homes for me and family. Better to build companies where people can be employed.

1628  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to protect yourself from hackers. on: June 17, 2021, 10:10:30 AM
Wait, you are not completely safe even though you followed all the security measures, and you didn't mention about the phishing attack which is common and even unnoticed on many occasions so the only way to protect yourself from hacker is don't connect to internet and stop using smartphones, just get back to the keypad mobile technology, sounds crazy right. Tongue

I think we can actually have a Safe Internet. It's should be a well decentralized and transparent Internet with the right rules to prevent/eliminate such attacks/abuses.
If a decentralized network participants could create a good set of rules via public consensus and have every transactions with members of the community rated based on the set of rules, you would end up having a reputation/merit-based network, and then only visit or allow people/sites with reasonably good reputation on your most sensitive/important stuff.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 17, 2021, 09:34:45 AM
A true believer doesn't need to be too focused on money. The truth is that if they want any amount of money for doing the work of GOD (and according to the Will of GOD) they will receive the money. The world is so faithless and evil that they don't know this fact is 100% true and works all the time.
And it's important to know that the worldly richmen are at the mercy of the poor men who are Citizens of Kingdom of Light. The Spiritual truth is that they actually rule and the world belongs to them. Whatever belongs to GOD belongs to them, and there is Power in their tongues.

So, as a Citizen, money shouldn't be your major concern. People who are not Citizens don't know how wretched they are until what they put their trust in begins to crumble.
1630  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to protect yourself from hackers. on: June 17, 2021, 09:11:32 AM
Also important to be cautious while surfing the internet. The way the current internet is designed or works leaves most users vulnerable to attacks and spying by dangerous people. Your devices are meant to be your private property but this current internet design model doesn't seem to respect that. Things can be done in your "private property" by companies/people without your consent. Even those with consent should be constantly asking for permission to carry out certain sensitive actions even though they have obtained Initial consent from owners/users.
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMP - The most undervalued DeFi play right now. Read this. Thank me later. on: June 16, 2021, 04:10:19 PM
What do you mean by "Unfortunately, it's still Transparent"? or is that a typo that supposed to read "Unfortunately , it's still not Transparent?"
Do you want the network opaque or something... if yes, why?
I wonder who can handle the guilt if an autonomous coin/project they like is constantly called dark coin by critics.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you investing in crypto currency alone? on: June 16, 2021, 03:35:19 PM
People don't look that bad as far as I can tell. I don't know much about the whole country, I am simply focused on my on locality, which is more important to me. Though some complain too much but don't know how lucky they are.

Currently invested alittle bit in a business I don't really want share here yet. I'm also venturing into designing and manufacturing of machinery that doesn't seem to exist where I live. Want to know if it will be in high demand before starting production, and I want it sold as cheap as possible. By the way, I only design and get the locals to produce... so I don't produce them myself.
1633  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: June 16, 2021, 03:16:04 PM
If the market wasn't very competitive, packaged water would have doubled in price where I live.  Some greedy cabal tried to jack up price months ago but other producers flooded the market with cheap water and crashed the price by more than 50%. Competition(healthy competition) is a beautiful thing. I don't worry too much because the market people are very smart and unbelievably hard working.
I'm always filled with joy when I see them working like bees in harmony, and they most likely don't even remember anything called government exist.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 16, 2021, 10:35:35 AM
Well, if money makes you happy, then you could get addicted to it and would likely do anything to have more.
Better to derive your happiness/joy from using your talents to help others so that even when you don't earn much you will still be happy doing it.
I read there were certain cultures in the past who had little yet were always happy, contented and never really lack in their needs. They would lots of times solve problems that require payment from customers but would ask the customers to pay them Whatever they can afford or even work without demanding for rewards.
If you convinced such culture that money is everything, they will become greedy, self-centered, feel unhappy when they don't have enough of it and do all sort of evil to make alot of it to be "happy"

1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: June 16, 2021, 09:59:58 AM
You can actually be a Responsible Bettors rather than Responsible Gamblers because gambling is associated with Taking Big Risk.
It's actually irresponsible to take big risk, so that two combinations cannot be used to heal or help people who are learning to be responsible Bettors . They will most likely come across people associating gambling to immoral activity, how do you expect them to handle that?

We need to be really careful with words/information we feed on. They can harm or heal us

1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is gambling taxed? on: June 16, 2021, 09:28:07 AM
Would it be proper to tax gamblers, particularly  people who take big risk in betting? I would have no problem taxing responsible bettors, but gambler... I really don't think so.
Government should discourage people from gambling rather than taxing it. Doesn't sound responsible to tax people who gamble(or take big risk with their money).  It's more like taxing cigarettes or even junk foods, and that seems like society is benefitting at the expense of others.

It OK to tax Responsible Bettors though.

1637  Other / Off-topic / Re: Importance of water on: June 16, 2021, 09:09:35 AM
I read an article recently that was talking about new artifical water. Usually water comes from the springs and has different minerals and tastes. But now a company is creating a water with a special mixture of all the important minerals. It is being created in a laboratory and could be sold all around the world, tasting exactly the same. They didn't say anything about the price but I can imagine it will be very expensive, which makes me scared. Water becomes more and more a resource where people want to profit of it.

Hope they make it really expensive and unaffordable to the regular people. Afterall we have water in abundance.
I think we could find some of the best water from spring water. People tend to boil/treat such water to avoid getting infected by harmful microbes or harmed by harmful substances.  Wish there are easy and effective ways to drink the water without boiling/treating to avoid making it inferior/weak(you could be right to call it dead water).
Seems that could be done with some special filter
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value? on: June 15, 2021, 05:06:32 PM
In your World, illegal activity does not alway translate to evil/immoral activity otherwise we would have alots of things that are legal in your World easily qualify as evil/ immoral.
I think we should probably have a balanced forum where the immoral usage of both fiat and crypto can be transparent/fairly highlighted so that we can determine which one qualifies to exist.
A Just and reasonable security agencies would accept currency system that helps them fight crime easily without breaking the laws.

The value of Bitcoin is determined by its tech, ideals, uniqueness, security and usefulness. So as long as it continues to be useful, unique and secure it will remain valuable.  If tyrants join hands to ban humans from fetching water from the streams or using herbs, that won't stop herbs or water from streams from being valuable or used morally by people even though it's Illegal to use them or will it?
1639  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a co-founder for an escrow service on: June 15, 2021, 03:58:19 PM
You did not need to create another thread in Dev & technical discussion board - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5343800.msg57233080#msg57233080
Multi posting is against the forum rules, and this is the appropriate section for your post, the other is wrongly placed.

I like the idea of an escrow service, to mediate transactions, especially if it's trustless, as that's one of the major objectives of Bitcoin.

You mentioned a smart contract being one of your long term goals; what should users trust on till then, before putting your funds at stake one needs a certain level of assurance or some sort of collateral. Basically, why should I trust you or your website?

I am working on a multi-sig system, basically i am trying to make it as simple as possible, even for new users, it takes a lot of work but i will get there as soon as possible.
If you have any ideas on how to make it easier for users, i am open for that.

You mentioned using/developing smart contract for this in the future, what stops you from doing it now and have it decentralized and also trustless? I could contribute ideas in that area even though I may not have the required skills in smart contract development.

I think we need an automated, decentralized, permissionless, trustless & open escrow system anyone can simply plug into & use safely to do business with peers from anywhere in the world. I wonder if something like that exist yet.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kishu Inu on burj khalifa on: June 15, 2021, 03:21:33 PM
Is Ronaldinho shilling for cryptocurrency? Few days ago, I have seen him posting for ATARI token saying ATARI to the moon. If anyone is interested- https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=352560382904596&id=100044519105951

Anyway, I don't think it’s a good move for crypto community as these are purely shitcoin. Instead, BTC logo would better suit there.

Interesting.
It's surprising that one of the best and the most popular football/soccer players in the world would promote a token in that manner. I wonder if he's paid to do so or  just promoting it because he finds it very useful/safe.
