Even though Kings XI Punjab is strong and they have the Trump card, Hashim Amla, there is no way Kolkata Knight riders will loose today's match. They are the hot favorite, they won the crucial toss and chose to bowl first which will be very much favorable to them.
Definitely for Knight riders.
Both the teams are good, but I think KXIP has a good chance of scoring high, But similarly KKR is playing in home ground, so they have some added benefits. But I will support KXIP today. As I said, Kings XI had no chance in beating Knight riders today. If they had scored a minimum 200 then may be, just may be they would have a chance of defending but 170 was too low on front of Knight riders. Sunil Narine became a lunch hitter after the last big bash season. It's a great advantage to their team now. Tomorrow is the return of Virat Kohli, let's see what happens. |

As I said, Kings XI had no chance in beating Knight riders today. If they had scored a minimum 200 then may be, just may be they would have a chance of defending but 170 was too low on front of Knight riders.
Sunil Narine became a lunch hitter after the last big bash season. It's a great advantage to their team now.
Tomorrow is the return of Virat Kohli, let's see what happens.
170 was not such a low score to defend. In IPL and T20 matches, teams defend a low score of 130 as well but today was not the day of Kings XI. They lost three wickets in just one over and since then, they couldn't recover. They failed to take a wicket and gave away 76 runs in just 5 overs. Then and there they lost the match. Narine truly deserved the MOM award. |

It was a really surprising tactic by Gautham Gambhir to open the batting with Sunil Narine and it really paid off as he provided the knock expected to chase the score as Kolkata Knight Riders does not have any international players who are specialist in T20s in their squad but they pulled this win .

Gautam Gambhir is a master mind player, i remember him when he was in Delhi with Sehwag..I was dammn sure about his win though i did not saw the match as i am in different time zone, i really miss watching Cricket in India. |

RCB v Mumbai Indians,Tomorrows game will be an interesting one because Virat Kohli will be back in the team after the injury and along with ABD it will be the strongest team in the entire IPL as they have Watson and Gayle and by the looks it is the team to win the IPL as they have one hell of a team and Mumbai Indians have to give Johnson a chance by resting McClenaghan.

KKR captain is in tremendous form, a previous game they won by without loss of wicket and yesterday they won by 8 wickets, They are looking very strong in this tournament. I think they will reach playoffs easily. Punjab starting was good but after that, they not played well, so the score was bit low. Congrats to KKR. |

Ruling out best opening pair of Robin - Gambhir they have tries now 2 different pairs and ystd was Narine move proved them again that they are flexible and it yielded them a result which they were desiring. What a start they got of for 5 overs 75 around runs made them the target look so easy .

It was a good strategy by KKR but I think that this may not work out in the next match,he is like harbhajan who can fire or go for duck..only time will tell but will be interesting to look out for what KKR plan with openers |

Just witnessed one of the greatest come back in IPL history,Mumbai restricted Bangalore for just 142 runs and then they lost four wickets for under ten runs and then they made a good partnership with Pollard score the bulk of the runs and winning the match with seven balls remaining ,it was an extremely good performance.

This is not greatest one , last time with same team when the target was 172 and they were 55/5 down that time also pollard saved them and won the match for them, Samuel Badree hat trick did not got them to win it, RCB are always the same only big names but totally weak with bowling. Two two hattrick witnessed, now in second match andrew tye took hattrick in last over, pune scored 171/8 totally collapsing in last over, i think this score will be defended if they take wicket of maccullam and raina very soon. |

MI is now looking strong in terms of batting and bowling and they played well during the powerplay. RCB are losing the plot and if they keep losing matches like this, they'll find it tough to qualify. I'm happy to see Virat is back and in form but they need Gayle to perform while MI on the other hand have big players like Pollard who is capable of hitting sixes and get runs. |

Dhoni is not in the best of form and the only batsmen in the team who is reliable is their captain Steven Smith and he cannot perform in each and every match,they have to include a T20 specialist like Daniel Christian and Usman Khawaja must open the batting for them as one man cannot perform all the time. |
