less than 8 minutes left to start the India vs Bangladesh, 10th Warm-up game. What do you think about the match? Can Bangladesh for-fend India or India will win the match easily like before? Need to remind that the last match of India was very bad and the last matches of Bangladesh in Tri-series was very fantastic and Bangladesh won the final.

After 45 overs, they have made 280/5, with Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the crease (79 from 65 balls, 4 sixes). At one point it looked like they may fall well short of 300, but the partnership between Dhoni and Rahul helped to stabilize the innings. The problem for India is that the three over rated players (Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar) have failed for the second consecutive time.

KL Rahul and Mahendra Singh Dhoni both struck a magnificent hundred, after 50 overs IND made 359 out of 7 wickets. Such a nice total after early wickets. On the opposite side, BAN demonstrates very poor body language. Here what I hope some great batting from Bangladesh.

Bangladesh too is doing well with their batting. End of the over 20 Bangladesh have scored 90+ with two wickets lost. It won't be a win to Bangladesh, but they prepare themselves good for the upcoming matches. India had a poor performance on the last match and now this is a perfect recovery.

Guys, have you noticed the batting of Tom Bundell from New Zealand? He is fairly new and there was a lot of people talking against the decision of calling him in the team. He is playing nice.
Bangladesh till now is playing better but chance of losing is high however, still Musfiq is in the field and if he can continue, it's possible.

I would say that the inform team heading into the World Cup would have to be Australia, as I said in a previous post when they beat England, Australia would have to be favourite or second favourite to win. India has come into form at the right time as well, not sure about England as they did win their last warm up match but it was to Afghanistan which didn't put up a fight. I'm thinking that it will be out of these three teams followed by SA, WI and New Zealand, the dark horse for me is Bangladesh.

Indian batting department has always being a strong point for the Indian team. The current pitches at England are also supporting batsmen and this is also a good sign for Indian team. Even if Virat Kohli and Dhoni does not able to make big runs in a match, they still have players who can bat well and make decent score for their team.

Even they are multi cultural country, they were the world leaders once now feeling pathetic to see them in this situation. Their colony rule made them a multi cultural but they should bring with their own people for world cup kind of games.

Then you (I mean in general) will say England is a racist country, they discriminate immigrants and give priority to their own race. I hope you got what I mean. Those players may originate from other county or may be their ancestors are from some other county but right now when they are playing for England and long before that they are English citizen. You can not separate them from original English.

Anyway, yes the showdown starts from tomorrow. Get pumped :-)

Let us not bring race and religion into sporting events, just enjoy the event and consider everyone as fellow human beings, there might be bitter past but things have changed a lot, but with recent emigration from Arab countries you might feel some uneasiness if you are travelling through some regions where they are densely populated other than that everything is normal.
Everyone is predicting England to win and i see only one guy favoring South Africa to win  .

I was expecting a high scoring match, with England batting first and scoring above 400. But they managed to score only 313 in their allotted 50 overs. Now they are in real danger of losing their very first match in this world cup. There was hardly anything in the pitch that supported the bowlers. But the English batsmen threw their wickets away.

The World Cup has began and it looks like England will be winning this match easily, as South Africa are down by 7 wickets and only have scored only 183 runs so far. England was favorite for this match and many gamblers have put money on England. South Africa have to regroup themselves now for the next matches, while England had continue their performance where they left from the Pakistan series.

I thought the 311 runs from England was a par score on that pitch and opened the door for SA however the England bowlers bowled well to bowl SA all out for just 207 runs. SA had a big chance at winning this match if they put more partnerships together as they were bowled out in the 40th over. Ben Stokes deserved player of the match as he batted well and took a couple of wickets with the ball.

England has done on all batting and bowling as well as fielding. They were a great performer and has placed themselves as a major contender of the cup.
That's why they have the lowest odds. They'll next be playing with Pakistan, west indies and bangladesh which would be another easier win. Their competition may come from India.

Pakistan will lose the match. The way Pakistani team batted has disappointed many people and i am totally disappointed for the progress of Pakistan in this world cup. The west Indies bowling did their homework well and they use Short Pitch balls for which Pakistan Batsmen had no answer and they hardly made a total of 100.

They dominated every single department during today's match and the Pakistanis were quite clueless against them. I am quite convinced that West Indies will at least be able to reach the semi-final stage. After that, everything will depend on luck.

West Indies has been particularly spectacular on English pitches. Of the 4 world cups hosted by England, West Indies was the winner on two while was the finalist in one. I don't think that's an important thing but surely West Indies is a probable team for the world cup trophy.
Pakistan on the other hand seems the poorest team in the tournament.

I felt the same however I'm not getting too carried away with this win by the WI even though they played well in all aspects of the game but they were playing a team that has been in poor form for months now so it is hard to get an idea on how well the WI really are. I'll wait and see how they are when they play a better opponent before thinking that they can challenge for the World Cup.
