What New Zealand did today is not acceptable and they should be held accountable for that by ICC.

Rameez Raja has a very clear stance on it and i think we as a nation should boycott Cricket relations with New Zealand unless they agree to play the full series in our country.

@UmerIdrees it’s a delicate situation for Pakistan, because if ICC finds favour in New Zealand’s merit then many other teams that were traveling to Pakistan will also cancel their tours. Also boycotting is not an solution, they should work with New Zealand and see how they make it mutually beneficial maybe play more games at a neutral venue, because gaining some revenue from this series is better than losing it all.

I don't think that the PCB should expect a favorable decision from the ICC. The pig 3 (BCCI, ECB and CA) will be solidly supporting CNZ. Although it was unethical to pull out of the tour at the last moment, CNZ do have a valid reason for doing that. Now the question is whether the ICC will try to pacify the PCB by offering some financial assistance or an offer of playing the series elsewhere (UAE?). The first one looks unlikely as of now, since the ICC is short of funds at this point due to the pandemic situation.

The Series won't be shifted to anywhere because IPL is around the corner and the focus is on IPL.

By the way, there was no security threat in Pakistan, but New Zealand had a losing threat and they opted out.

Nothing is guaranteed right now. I don't know which direction the ICC will tilt. Do you remember what happened during the 2003 Cricket World Cup? Both Zimbabwe and Kenya were awarded points (through walkover), after England and New Zealand refused to tour these countries due to "security threat". And back then New Zealand failed to qualify for the semi-finals just because of this. So will the ICC penalize New Zealand this time also? But times have changed. And 2003 was during the Dalmiya-era, when the pig3 didn't had much power.

Yes, the things have changed in these 18 - 20 years. ICC was very fair back then and there was not much influence by the BCCI or ECB.
I think ICC won't take any action on it and this give courage to big nations to keep repeating the same actions for their own benefit.

ICC was more or less unbiased during the pre-2004 years, and this was the time when the pig 3 lobby took over the ICC. Actually the politics within the ICC closely follow what happens in India. 2004 was the year when the UPA government came in to power in India. The BCCI was taken over by the Sharad Pawar / N Srinivasan gang. They gained control of the ICC very soon. In 2014, UPA was kicked out of power and the NDA government was elected. Immediately there was a change in the BCCI/ICC. Srinivasan was replaced by Shashank Manohar, who slowly reduced the power of pig 3. But still, I don't think we'll ever go back to the pre-2004 era.

Only Nepal is having native players and the other two don't have any nationals in their cricket squad (their playing XIs are entirely made up of Pakistani and Indian citizens). What is the point in having international teams like this? Take the case of Oman players for example. I am 100% sure that they don't have any loyalty towards Oman. They themselves would be supporting their home country when they play for Oman. The tragedy here is that teams with native players such as Nepal and Kenya get sidelined by these teams.

Oman and USA are not basically cricket based countries, people of these countries always put more importance on all sports other than cricket. So cricket teams from all countries are made up of non-formal players from other countries. The only Nepal cricket team is made up of teams with only their native cricketers. Other countries qualify themselves from the qualifiers To do so, it has included local cricketers as well as cricket star cricketers from other countries.

Much like the brain drain, the players are given huge amount of money and at the same time instead of them playing on behalf of their own country they would rather go to a place where they are respected more in the first place. Since in country like India, cricket is much like the *appearance* as well, therefore many of the talented young people are almost.ignored..

But not only that even if Oman did win , there were much more foreign national players in the other team which was honestly so weird. Is this something that should be banned as well ?

Everything is clear from the points table. Teams playing with foreign players (Oman, USA.etc) are on top of the table and they will receive more funding from the ICC. On the other hand, the teams that used native players (Nepal, PNG.etc) are unable to compete against them, and the ICC will reduce their funding in the coming years. The case of Oman is very peculiar. Out of 11 in the playing XI, no one had Omani citizenship. And a majority of the players were based in Pakistan or India, and had no connection to Oman. They agreed to play for Oman just because the cricket board offered them money. I don't have any issue if this is happening in franchise cricket. But the entire sports becomes a joke when international teams are created like this.

My guess is that DC will steamroll SRH today. T Natarajan has tested positive for COVID and Vijay Shankar and a few other players have been asked to go for quarantine. So even if the match goes ahead, SRH will be fielding a weakened side. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals will be fielding a full-strength side, with Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada featuring in the playing XI. Kane Williamson will be captaining SRH, but the issue for them is that David Warner is not in good touch.

ICC has very limited or no role in cricket affairs these days, its mainly BCCI that runs the matter along with ECB and CA. Boards who are financially stable can do anything of there choice and this is not good for the game. Because of IPL, series schedule is decided and players are released to play IPL in place of national side.
I don't think PCB will get any compensation since he is not in the circle of any big three. Though I feel sorry for PCB as they are the first one to tour New Zealand after the attack on Mosque.

Delhi Capitals beat Sunrise Hyderabad by a huge margin of 8 wickets. Most of the players could not make a very convenient run for Sunrise Hyderabad. David Warner is one of the most dependable batsmen in the team Golden called and went back to the pavilion. The rest of the boys could not collect any big runs.

Undoubtedly, corona was out of the team as some of them were positive. As a result, Sunrise Hyderabad took the field today with a weak team. Sunrise Hyderabad could not make a very convenient run today with some good players Delhi Capitals have to be defeated.
