The way for cricket to move forward is to play more multi-nation (triangular, quadrangular or even pentangular) series, along with T20 franchise cricket. Test cricket may get restricted to the pig-4, and I don't see much significance for this format among the smaller test nations. It consumes a lot of time, and the players are nowadays not interested in it.

The supporters have already got the taste of league cricket. And I believe it is not going to change. The public will demand tournaments such as the IPL, BPL, BBL, PCL, etc.

But now there are additional leagues from Sri Lanka, South Africa, UAE and a number of other countries. New leagues doesn't mean new viewers. The number of fans will remain the same. The new leagues may however poach viewers from other established leagues. And given the huge amount of money being splurged by new leagues such as ILT20 and CSA T20 League, it is very much possible.

Right now, no one caring about cricket because they have good profit from these franchise cricket into their deep pockets, so they are enjoying, but surely it's never been ideal situation and if we have some good success in Dubai T20 league then it's going to be disaster for cricket and many small boards because they could be ended with lost their quality players for this big amount and have results like West Indies which is most suffered country with their geography situation as well.

Countries like Sri Lanka and Afghanistan can suffer badly even some concerns can also rise in few other countries as well as Pakistan, Bangladesh and South Africa so better they sit and talk about this early hopefully they can end with positive side.

But what I do have a problem with is this is going to solidify the use of foreign players in the national teams a lot more. This is something I absolutely don’t like.

Okay i checked more into it so calculation are more like this. 35 Matches affair and tourney starts from 6 Jan to 12 Feb.

18 member squad for each team (6 teams). Which includes 14 overseas players (Including 2 Associate players) 4 UAE players (including 1 from U23).

In Playing XI every team can add max 9 overseas (1 must be from Associate members) and 2 UAE players are must.

We know that the United Arab Emirates managed to successfully host the first T-Ten League in their country
