Australia lost there 9th wicket on 166 it was Sean Abbott 49 on 40 balls that helped them crossing 200. Australia team were not playing with there major bowlers like starc, Hazlewood and Cummins. That's another plus for Pakistan. Australia will conclude this historic tour on 5th April by playing the only T20I.

Australia was one of the first teams to implement the player rotation policy. This time they went with a bunch of inexperienced players (Nathan Ellis, Jason Behrendorff, Ben McDermott.etc), and still managed to perform. However in the 3rd ODI things didn't worked as per the plan. Both the opening batsmen (Travis Head and Aaron Finch) were back in pavilion before they managed to score the first run. When Marnus Labuschagne got out, the score was 6/3 after 5 overs. And from there, things went downhill for Australia.

It was a really bad start for the Australian team in that match. from 3 wickets down for only 6 runs set the Australians on the back foot from the start. the score was 67 for 5  at one point.

I think they did well to reach 210 at the end of the innings. it was sad to see Abbott miss out on his half-century.

Pakistan also played really well, Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq played really well and made sure that Pakistan went on to win the match really convincingly. Pakistan eventual events this series 2-.  I was actually amazed to see that Australia didn't go into this match with their full power.

winning after a long long time is obviously a victory itself. Babar Azam must be very happy on receiving the Red SUV, what a great treat for his efforts and hardwork.However  Iman ul Haq played really well - infact the whole team did well. But I don't know why they give their best at the end - like IK.

Once after the T20 match against Australia there is no match for Pakistan. As per schedule the next series is against West Indies during the month of June. After the series, Pakistan plays on the T20 World Cup matches. Pakistan have got a lot time to prepare themselves for the T20 World Cup. Some have mentioned the complete Australia isn't available in this series. When the incomplete squad can score 348 runs why can't the same team win the final ODI. So, those are just reasons and the reality is Pakistan did the best.

It was a really bad start for the Australian team in that match. from 3 wickets down for only 6 runs set the Australians on the back foot from the start. the score was 67 for 5  at one point.

I believe both the team played well. Aussie are undefeated be it Women team or Men's team, their strategy and techniques are amazing and they work really hard to win whatsoever is the situation. Winning and losing is the part of the game. But Thanks to Aussie team and reviving the cricket in Pakistan after long long time.

Yes, I have no doubt about the capability of the Australian team. It was just a little unexpected for me that they did not go with their full power and try to win the series.

But I guess they are focusing on much more important things like the world cup right now. And Pakistan will also get a lot of confidence after this. You are right we can't say about match fixing until its proven. There is no one who speaks against IPL not even the icc since everyone gets his fair share. The ROI will be low if you rely only on legitimate sources like sponsorship, TV rights etc. Big parties need big return on there investment and this comes only with some fixing.

Money is a dirty game and its involved everywhere most of the time we cannot predict what is going on behind the screens. But there is money going in and out of vault of both the parties. And then people come with the excuses that everything is fair in love and war. What to say about it?

This is in fact bad for Pakistan. Teams who continue to play are used to the real matches and practice matches would not give you benefit as the real matches can be useful. Pakistan recently played PSL and the team continues the form in the ODI series. Don't think the same performance can be shown if there is break for 2 , 3 months of international / domestic cricket.

No one speak about IPL much because when someone get caught or face any allegation, they face suspension or life ban. I won't say that it's perfect system from any angle or fixing/spot fixing are alien concept to IPL but it's also true that they don't jerk around.

2 Franchise faced suspension for couple of years (CSK-RR) when their shareholder, not team but shareholder faced charges (Conflict of interest) and in some cases their shares were also seized, not to mention it followed by BCCI president resignation due to conflict of interest (CSK). Players got lifetime ban from the franchise although they were cleared by the Court but still every franchise boycotted everyone.

When the user gets unpredicted results they term it as fixed matches. It isn't happening now, this is common in all games. In specific with cricket we can see it quite often, because even a single player can change the game anytime. With Australia Pakistan match there is no reason to state it a fixed match. In the second ODI Pakistan gave the best. In the third ODI Pakistan lost a single wicket and that might be the reason for stating it a fixed match. In my understanding Pakistan took the home ground advantage to mark the win.

I think in past two years there wasn't much cricket due to covid19. Only in 2021 we saw resumption of cricket with SOPs, still its a good decision from Taylor to get retirement before CNZ drops him from the squad. We rarely saw such trend in sub-continent players stick with teams as long as they can before board decides they are no more required.

I think now we can understand why Pakistan was trying to go for draws in the test matches. They knew that they are not as strong as Australia in the test match.
Australia did really well in the test format, also the ODI format too.

I was also really amazed by the confidence that Australia had shown in the last test match, now there is only one T-20 to go and I think it will be a 50-50 about who wins.
