Forget about any bilateral series between these two nations for the next  20 years at least. The political spectrum in both India and Pakistan has moved very hard to the right and extreme voices are having complete dominance as of now. As per the scheduling, India was supposed to visit Pakistan one and half decades back, but they pulled out citing border clashes and terror attacks. The ICC has adopted a neutral stance on this matter, saying that the two countries should resolve the differences amicably.

Why next 20 years, you think the right wing extreme skilless imbeciles will be ruling for the next two more decades. Oh god i never think so,  i will be surprised if they will be able to regain power during the next elections, you can fool people for a while with the gimmicks but not all the time.

At least in India, there seems to be no unified opposition. The 2024 battle is going to be between the BJP (which is a pan-India party) and the TMC (which is mostly limited to West Bengal). I don't know much about the situation in Pakistan, but I guess Imran Khan doesn't have to deal with an effective opposition. I am not hearing much about either the PPP or the PML. And in reality it doesn't matter even if the government changes. I don't think that the other parties would take a favorable stance to the bilateral tour.

I don't know much about the situation in Pakistan, but I guess Imran Khan doesn't have to deal with an effective opposition. I am not hearing much about either the PPP or the PML. And in reality it doesn't matter even if the government changes. I don't think that the other parties would take a favorable stance to the bilateral tour.

Things have gone tough between both countries but not upto that extent. They haven't played any test match against eachother over a decade now. In India Congress is another big party who can beat BJP in 2024. While in Pakistan PTI and PMLn are big contestors for 2023 elections.

I actually think the opposite because this is not something that has been happening for one or two years. This has been happening for a long time between Pakistan and India. And will be happening in the future also in my opinion. And yes the people in power are dumb, but they are the people in power. If you know what I mean...

Under the current situation, I don't think that even if the government changes it will have any effect on the opinion that both countries hate each other. And that's why I don't see this series happening in the recent future. The government change is not something that will help the cause too much in my opinion.

As few other members already mention tension and other problems related to these countries, surely no one has doubt we will never watch bilateral series between these two countries in next few decades because no one want to solve issues even most of political parties trying to have some better number game with this tension. But good thing we can watch these countries only in ICC events which is also not bad at all as we read few days back all tickets sold out in few hours for match between India vs Pakistan in upcoming ICC twenty/20 World Cup which is going to hold in Australia. Other than this we have nothing special from these countries, specially in cricket because mostly politicians fees it is a better way to create hate between these countries peoples, so they are fueling this all.

With now IPL is next biggest event coming in few weeks hopefully things could be good as recently we have many cases with covid19 and many players are also having problem with this all.

The problem is that everyone knows there is a certain problem but no one seems to give the solution. And no solution is going to work if not the tension between the two countries reduces.

And as we know that the political leaders control almost everything about sport in a country, I don't think the situation is going to improve even in the next 10 years in my opinion. I actually think that both the teams have accepted the fact and moved on and I think that is something that we should also do as fans. The only time we are going to see India versus Pakistan is in the ICC events.

First two matches were a win for New Zealand, the second match was very close and this match also doesn't look like a win for India Women who have managed to score 195 runs losing 5 wickets in 34 overs.

First two matches were a win for New Zealand, the second match was very close and this match also doesn't look like a win for India Women who have managed to score 195 runs losing 5 wickets in 34 overs.

Right now NZ women need 149 runs in 23 overs. Both teams are in winning position. India bowling done good job to get rid of top NZ batting line except Amelia Kerr who is still not out on 55 runs. A wicket or two here may tilt the game towards Indian women.

Political situation between both countries take twist when big powers intervene. I don't think it will be dry period forever and we can't say when it will last. India likes to play with Pakistan in icc events only since they have better record against Pakistan there. Victory in last T20 WC was first ever win by Pakistan against India in WC.

In this case, the dry period is going to last for a while. As of now, I don't think that there is any chance of a resumption of cricketing ties between these two countries. And that will be the case even if the government changes. So for now, we have to contend with whatever we get during the ICC tournaments. In fact there have been demands from some of the political parties in India that they should stop playing against Pakistan even during the ICC tournaments such as World Cup and Champions Trophy.

Well there is no chance of this going to happen any time soon. Specially indian players in PSL in never going to be possible. Indian players are not even allowed to play any league all around the world not even Big bash or any other league. So playing them in PSL is no way near possible .

On the other hand women Indian team players are allowed to take part on BBL and The hundred. It's only men who can't play anywhere else.
PSL is very small league as compared to IPL, so it won't be too much attractive for Indian players as they now are used to million of usd for every auction.

Even Indian women down in this series badly with lost of only twenty/20 and now down 3 - 0 in ODI but still few very good individual efforts from Team India are good signals before start of World Cup all matches were close ones and Indian batting line-up doing good job with having 270 and 279 runs in last two ODI's for me New Zealand women doing this all just because of having home ground advantage otherwise these results could be completely different Deepti Sharma and Goswami doing very good bowling but all in vain hopefully we will have some better results from these women's in mega event which is going to start after 10 days and Indian team is going to play first match against Pakistan which could be very easy win for them and good start of this campaign.

India has a better record in ICC events against Pakistan. But Pakistan is coming on though. They have performed quite well against India in the recent ICC tournaments. And I don't think that any change in any political power is going to help the issue that they are not playing against each other. I think this is one debate that even the players have just accepted and moved on, we all should accept.

If India have actually done that I think they are just dumb, whoever said that must be really dumb to think that ICC is going to let something like that happen. I think that's a good solution and a different approach to a unique problem. And by doing so, both IPL and PSL are going to have a huge boost in viewership. But in reality, I don't think that is going to happen.

My suggestion is that Cricket Australia and ECB should ban Indian women's players from taking part in the WBBL and The Women's Hundred. Why should they be allowed to participate when the Indian men players are not allowed in BBL/Hundred? It is not the responsibility of these cricket boards to groom the female Indian players. The BCCI can't simply outsource their job abroad. They are the richest cricket board, and still they don't want to spend money on setting up a new women's franchise T20 league.

That's actually very well said. India is one of the richest boards in ICC. And if they don't wanna start a women's T20 league, it's a shame.

But in cricket, the only way to get recognized is through international play and by playing with the national team. When there is no team to play with it's absolutely impossible to get recognized by the leagues.

So ultimately the cricket leagues like IPL and PSL choose their players from well-known national teams. As we can see that cricket is a game which is played with the national team more than league teams, the number of nations playing cricket needs to increase as soon as possible.
