There is an interesting development in cricket asMankading' no longer 'unfair play' as MCC makes massive changes to laws of cricket.

I think it was necessary because cricket is now getting very fast and there are times when one or two runs are very crucial.

MCC also recommeded permanent ban on use of saliva on ball. "The new Laws will not permit the use of saliva on the ball, which also removes any grey areas of fielders eating sugary sweets to alter their saliva to apply to the ball. Using saliva will be treated the same way as any other unfair methods of changing the condition of the ball," the statement from MCC read."


Its upto ICC to accept these new laws from MCC or not. Normally ICC accepts MCC amendments without any protest.

Bangladesh Cricket Board has been released a news, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be rested from all kind of cricket formats until 30th of April. Thus, He will miss Bangladesh's forthcoming tour of South Africa. He is a world class athlete and no one can disagree with that but at the same time he lacks discipline. BCB should focus on building quality players to manage such crisis if any of their top players not interested to play.  

Shakib Al Hasan is a great asset for Bangladesh and obviously the best cricketer in the world.

But, I think he lacks the work ethic. Bangladesh really needed him for the next series. As far as I know, he himself has expressed the feeling of having a break and says that he needs the break because he is fatigued physically and mentally.

But I don't think physical or mental fatigue is the reason why he did not perform up to the mark against Afghanistan.
But then again, he is 34. And this is an interesting stage for athletes. The body certainly doesn't work as a 19-year-old now.

Tired of all this drama with Shakib and the BCB. Bangladesh do have some good players, such as Mustafizur Rahman and Liton Das. But without any argument, Shakib is a class apart. In many ways, he is similar to Virat Kohli of India. And in this case, I would say that BCB handled him unfairly, when compared to how the BCCI handled Kohli. The immediate priority for the BCB should be to improve their rankings in test an ODI formats, and for that purpose these sort of controversies are not helpful in anyway.

Mankading is very much required in T20 since they are close contest at times. I don't think Mankading will have any impact in test cricket. Use of saliva is also needed in test and ODI matches to swing the ball and not required in T20s. Saliva is used by bowlers for decades and its prohibition is something beyond understanding.

That could be an issue because we all know that Shakib Al Hasan has a really bad relationship with the BCB. And as far as I know, BCB can obviously do something like that.

I think we all know that Shakib Al Hasan was not playing too much cricket for which he would have needed rest. But as a fan of Bangladesh cricket, I am happy that he will be playing in the South Africa tour. I think the beef between Shakib Al Hasan and the Bangladesh cricket board is always going to be there. Or at least as long as Mr. Nazrml Hasan Papon is the president of BCB.

As per my knowledge shakib has played 59 test, 218 ODIs and 96 T20Is for Bangladesh and still I read posts that BCB has not done justice with that legendary all rounder. What else a player need from his board if he has played so many matches.

You're this statement is shocking for me as after 23 years of test states and having very long experience of playing cricket they still have no idea how to handle things fairly in board because this all need some good and strong team work, and I was feeling they are good and professional but after reading this all now feeling if they have nothing idea and just one player is having headache for them then they need to shut down and this all business and try on some better way for living.

Simply they need to do some paper work and try to arrange few domestics set up from there they can bring some good players and professional management peoples those do this all with good and spirited way for better and quality of their country.

Now they already have franchise cricket which is giving them good profit, so now funds are available just setting all this sports authority is nothing any serious concern for Government and peoples those are involved in this for very long time.

The match is going great - both the teams are in great spirits. Good batting, excellent fielding and wonderful bowling by both the team. England lost its 6 wicket now and still 37 to win from 38 balls. Pressure building up. I am siding SA too.

Exactly my point because 23 years is a long time for any Nation. And by this time Bangladesh should have been recognized as a force to be reckoned with in cricket but that is not something we will see right now. The problem is Shakib Al Hasan wants to be treated better as he is the best player in the Bangladesh team and the board thinks that has a problem. They just don't want to admit that they have the best cricketer in their team and want to establish their authority everywhere. that's where the communication gap between the cricket board and the players comes into play which has held the Bangladesh cricket team back for a long time.

A good point now it's time for change of topic because this all is already sorted out by both stakeholders with now Shakib is going to South Africa and BCB is also having clear all things, so members need to understand and change the point of this talk, but sadly I just check we have no enough to talk because very bore time around cricket with IPL is going to start after few days, and then we can talk some other things and have some enough topics to talk about.
