It is not a normal performance but it is like that some big achievement for the Sri Lankan team because if we look in the past, then the Sri Lankan team was too amazing and they always qualify for the final and semi-final matches.



In short, in past they always qualified in the playoffs matches but from the last few years, their team downfall has started and can’t even go in the group stages, yes they played well in the Asia Cup because there were less teams but still, they have to perform in the ICC tournaments as well, this victory will motivate them to do it more.

I think in the next match, the Indian team should try to do the bat first because their bowlers could do good batting and they are able to defend the low score but I think it could be a good decision in front of them to win the toss and decide to bat first. If they lose the toss, i am sure Sri Lanka will again bat first as they did in the first two ODIs.

By the way, in yesterday’s match, the Indian team did not win the toss, they lost it that is why it was not in their hands and lost that match but tomorrow if by chance they will win the toss then they should not have to do this mistake. If they will win the toss of the third ODI match, BAT first. Emphasis 
Not that winning the toss will win the match but the point is that Indians would ideally want to bat first and then see how things go.

I think in this pitch a total of 251 runs in defendable because Sri lanka have qualify spin bowling attack. Sri Lanka outstanding batting performance scored 240 runs in a loss of 9 wickets in first inning of match against India. Sri lanka batting performance is amazing especially Avishka Fernando batting well scored 40 runs and Kamindu Mendis also batting good scored 40 runs helped his team to set a huge total of 250 runs. Washington Sundar bowling performance outclass picked 3 important wickets by just giving only 30 runs his economy rate is just 3 runs per over. Sri lanka needs to pick easy wickets of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli if they want to win this match and lead the series by 1-0.

the match is currently going on and it looks like India is going to win the match very easily.  India has already scored 123 In only 19.2 overs and they have only lost 3 wickets while doing so.  right now India Needs to score 118  more and the required run rate is not even 4 per over.  so it should be pretty easy for India to win this match from here.

 as I was writing this,  it looks like we might have some surprises in this match.  India lost the first wicket at 97 runs.  and now the score is still 123  and India has already lost 4 wickets.  Virat Kohli just got out.  so I guess this is not over until it is actually over.  well, the Sri Lanka good comeback?

Sri Lanka outstanding performance in the 2nd ODI match winning the match by a huge 32 runs margin and leading the series by 1-0. while chasing down a target Indian team only manage to score 208 runs All out in just 43 over of the match. The Player of the Match is Jeffrey Vandersay for his amazing bowling spell picked 6 important wickets and his economy rate is 3.3 runs. Rohit Sharma outclassed batting scored 64 runs well deserved half century by 44 balls and Axar Patel also batting well scored 44 runs, unfortunately missed half century by 6 runs short and india lost the match after last hope Axar Patel got out. Now 3rd match of the series is remaining if India wins then they have a chance to level the series

Lost previous tournament this would be bad for Sri Lanka team but their comeback in ODI tournament was  extremely good and great. In second Odi game, people choosing india team for betting and believe that their team win this game but Sri Lanka team changed the turn of game to win and beat Indian team  and this was great victory and winning the game by 32 runs and leading this tournament with 1 win. India team showed strong T20 performance but they did not maintain their performance in ODIs matches and their middle order did not play amazing. Sri Lankan bowlers especially Jeffrey Vandersay displayed amazing gameplay in bowling with taking 6 wickets and Charith Asalanka also with 3 wickets. But Rohit Sharma and Axar Patel both supported their team for win and performed good efforts in batting but India could not chase 240 runs record. Sri Lankan spinner bowlers played crucial role to win and now their team have a chance to win this tournament. India needs a lot of improvement especially in their batting line-up to avoid losing next match and whitewash..

Sri Lanka sqaud displayed very amazing performance in the second ODI match against India squad and total two matches were successfully completed and now this competition was led by Sri Lanka sqaud with one victory and India has zero victory. T20I competition both played previously, Indian squad showcased actual performance under the captaincy of Yadav. But Sri Lanka sqaud made a strong comeback in ODi competition and second match, Sri Lanka squad has managed to collect 240 scores as a Defeating target which seem not hard task for Indian sqaud to achieve it but their batters displayed very slow innings after losing some main wickets like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Dube. Sri Lanka squad emerged victorious by massive scores 32 and also almost 8 overs remain to play but all wickets of Indian was wiped out.

That is great victory by Sri Lankan team. Sri Lankan team is becoming my favorite team because of their best performance in ODI matches. Indian International ODI cricket team is top of the World and openers of India are top of the rank and they always won due to their batting but in last two matches we saw tough competition between India and Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan gave tough time to top class batters of India.  I think now Indian team home work not good and they need more practice. And I always saw best bowlers from Sri Lankan team but In last few years, Sri Lankan team face many challenges and that team performance was not good but now they are looking in good form and they have capability to win against any team because they are full confident to win against India.
