Werder Bremen destroyed paderborn, 5-1 end result, that is not even close and they were dominating the whole game as well. It is an interesting tidbit and I am sure normally they are not this better than paderborn but think about it this way, the team that is 17th beat the 18th 5-1 and yet there is a huuuuge chance that they will still be relegated. I mean they did get that 3 points from this game but that is not even enough, there is too much difference and they have to keep winning every game which I doubt could ever happen.

Dusseldorf might stay in the league if they are lucky but that is not going to be easy neither, they have to work really hard to achieve it. With this return Bayern is basically champions and there is nothing left for them to prove anymore, they could go out there with youth teams and still become champions.

Schalke is hosting Leverkusen tomorrow, the smart bet would be on Bayer but Schalke must win a game eventually.

If you looking back the last few weeks and playings that Schalke has done i would say that Schalke will be losing tomorrow.
Because Leverkusen have played not bad and good and i guess they will win this match to get an spot in the Campions League.

And as i have said and written Bayern Munich has won with a bit of luck !

If I see Schalke winning tomorrow match vs Leverkusen I will get an error in my brain CPU for sure. They are just rolling against everyone expectation!
BTW I am too lazy but curious to know if anyone has a tab about the rank/score of teams in games after the pause without counting those before coronavirus breakdown?

Wow. I didn't see that coming. I mean, I did expect Bremen to win, but not with 5 goals . That could be enough boost for Bremen to finish in 15th place. Let's see how Mainz plays tomorrow.

Werder has played surprisingly well the past few games, so that they have a serious chance of relegation and staying in the league. Nevertheless, they have to play against Bayern Munich in the next game. Then against Mainz and Cologne. They won't win against Bayern, but they have a good chance against Mainz and Cologne if they can take the momentum with them. Six out of nine possible points will be enough for the relegation and probably also for a save rank in the league.

Borussia Monchengladbach are quite unlucky to have conceded a late goal against Bayern Munich, if Borussia Monchengladbach could force a draw against Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund would have higher chance to compete with Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga trophy this season. this was an outstanding result, it's okay that any team can lose, but when it suffers 5 goals really it is something that makes the coach of the team that suffered 5 goals not fall asleep thinking what failed in the defense

this was the type of game that once again showed that having high level players make a big difference in the game, I’m already thinking that the game would end in a draw and I stopped following the game because I thought my bet was lost, but I was surprise that when I come back to follow the game I was ending with the victory of Borussia Dortmund.

agree for Mainz and Augsburg, seems that both teams will be good with a draw, since four points in three rounds should be enough to keep Dusseldorf and Werder below the relegation line, although with a win both teams will be certain in their next season in Bundesliga

i would bet on Leverkusen, they could get three point advantage today in Gelsenkirchen, and i do not think that they will miss it, it is a low quote @1.45, but certain for me, and better option than goals, although expect a lot of goals today

Mainz currently sits at 31 points at the moment, only two points ahead of Dusseldorf and Werder Bremen and the relegation/relegation playoffs. Augsburg has just one point more. So for both teams these 3 points today would mean a lot in the relegation battle. The head-to-head statisics favour Augsburg which has won the last three matches against Mainz but on the other hand they out of their last 7 away games they only won a single one and overall they only managed to get 3 wins out of 15 away games. The home statistics for Mainz don't look that good either with only 4 home wins so far. So for this match, I'd say it can go either way and it's pretty hard to predict a winner. However, out of the last 14 matches between these two team, there was only one draw (in 2015). Even though my gut tells me Mainz, I'd say BTTS (@1.61) is a safer bet.

With the current performance of Schalke it wouldn't surprise me if they won't get a single point in their remaining matches this season (they only won one game so far this year). And now they have Leverkusen as their guest, which will be eager to take advantage of Gladbachs defeat yesterday to secure at least the fourth place and thus the UCL qualification. Tbh. I don't really see a good chance here for Schalke to steal point(s), especially now that they have to play without Sane, so I'd go with a bet on Leverkusen (@1.44).

How do you see the matches today? Does anyone know if Havertz will be able to play again today?

Fortuna Dusseldorf - Borussia Dortmund ( 0 - 1 )

this was the type of game that once again showed that having high level players make a big difference in the game, I’m already thinking that the game would end in a draw and I stopped following the game because I thought my bet was lost, but I was surprise that when I come back to follow the game I was ending with the victory of Borussia Dortmund.

BVB came so close to a draw which means they will officially lose the race with Bayern. Fortunately, Haaland kept 3 points for them and kept their hope lasting one more round.

The win for Bayern brings them closer to the title and it is only a matter of time to see Bayern officially gets the title. Maybe they will get it next match. Despite of the fact that BVB has their best season in the last 5 years, it does not enough to help them beating Bayern. Maybe the next season, if Sancho and Haaland will stay in Dortmund, they can fight better with Bayern, and if the performance of Lewandowski will be down a little bit as a consequence of ageing.

For me, Bundesliga has just become the worst league to make bets because after the corona break, all the games are unpredictable with teams who even have hunger for football or teams who forgot to play it. Per example, DOrtmund yesterday was one of the most shady games I ever watched in the last months followed by Mainz today.

Extremely important win for Augsburg, which almost 100% guarantees them stay in the Bundesliga next season given the very few remaining matches.

This is not the case with Mainz though, they will have a direct match with Werder next Saturday if we assume that both teams will lose in the midweek round against Bayern and Dortmund.

Out of the three teams fighting relegation (Werder, Düsseldorf, and Mainz), Mainz has the toughest schedule but they are up 3pts.

I hope Werder will make it at least to relegation play-off game, would hate to see them go down...

Havertz is playing today just because of this I am also sure Leverkusen is going to take full 3 points with score of 2 - 0 as Schalke is on very poor run after this break.

Also the 1st goal they scored was complete legit but the referee and VAR did not want to validate or even look at it...you cannot give handball for that as his arm was completely near his body but whatever... . Now I won't be surprised if Shalke wins ...with a 7odd pre.game as they need to cut off that negative record.

It doesn't matter if his arm was close to his body. As soon as the ball touches the hand of an attacking player in the process of scoring a goal, the referees are required to blow the whistle. But in this particular case I totallly agree with you. Imo the ball was deflected from his shoulder, so no reason not to give the goal.

yeah, and Schalke was in the lead, but Bayer scored and has 10 minutes till the end to actually try to win the match, as expected from the start, they are actually much better than Schalke today, but scoring was not their best today

That is a slap for my wallet as well Only needed Leverkusen to cash out a nice multi but Bundesliga managed to f... me once again. This was maybe the game I was most sure since the restart. Leverkusen in great form and needs the points, Schalke playing awful and with most of the first team players injured. They managed to have 5 outfield players and 2 goalkeepers on the bench today and didn't even fill the allowed quota.

Congrats to Schalke they have shown a spirit in this game and once again proved that they are actually much better side when playing with their home grown young players.
