No one should blame only a manager for the defeat of its team... Put the best manager with a bunch of weak players and I can guarantee that they will be the last one in that league. Bremen has to enter diagnostic mode and fix errors in the team and get few new parts. After the restart they did a quite good work, they need to continue like that and enhance the team!

the dates for the next bundesliga season were published today! so the 1. bundesliga will start on september 18th and one week earlier the first round of the dfb-cup will be played. there will only be a 2 week winter break and for the first time the dfb-cup final will take place before the end of the 1. and 2. bundesliga https://www.kicker.de/778084/artikel/neue_bundesliga_saison_beginnt_am_18_september

So now that we know when the Bundesliga will start in its next season, it will be interesting to see how the whole Corona situation develops until then. Will we have a second wave in fall as some are afraid? Or will we even be able to see the fans back in the stadiums in September. Anyway, Union Berlin is already planing with a full stadium at the first matchday As long as you have a negative Covid-19 test, you're allowed to enter the stadium. At least that's their plan. I am just wondering who will pay for these 20.000 tests? The German health insurance companies won't be the ones, that's for sure. And that the fans are willing to pay the ~40 € for the test out of their own pockets in addition to the usual ticket fees and take the trouble to get tested can be highly doubted

That is dangerous. A test is just a snapshot. If you tested negative two days ago, you can suddenly be contagious today. A throat and nasal swab must be taken for detection. If it is done correctly, it is not fun. Very unpleasant. Some fans will only do it once.

Today the second game in the relegation match for the second german league will be played. 18:15 at German time Nürnberg has to play in Ingolstadt and can make all fix to stay in the second league. My bet goes for sure at Nürnberg and if they play again as they have in first match they can do it. Fingers crossed for the Win .

That is dangerous. A test is just a snapshot. If you tested negative two days ago, you can suddenly be contagious today. You can't get 100%, you can just minimize the risk and then each individual has to decide on their own, if it's worth the risk. If you wait until everything is 100% safe, you will probably have to wait for years, if not forever
For todays last game of the season, I can't spot any good bet. After watching the 1st leg, I don't see Ingolstadt turning things around, because Nürnberg just looked too strong and focused. Nürnberg should look to score a goal here, then they can relax a bit. A game to watch, wait for things to unfold and looking for opportunities inplay. If I was Ingolstadt, I wouldn't go all-in right from the start; you have 90 minutes to score two goals and it's enough to open up in 60th minute as well. Top priority should be to not concede first. Thus I am expecting boring and low-scoring game for quite some time and more action towards the end maybe. So late goals should be something to look for.

@bct_ail I’ll second that as this is indeed dangerous as medical reports can be faked, and even it those reports are true then those persons can yet be carriers, and they can spread the virus ahead. Also it seems that the government is on board with this plan, but I sincerely hope that they’ll understand the gravity of the situation, and then they’ll revoke their permissions. I realy guess that Ingolstadt will looking to score a goal til the first minutes , because they have to score 2 goals just to get in overtime and maybe penalty. And Nürnberg will be not only watching and i think that they also try to get a goal , it will be an intresting match to watch i guess. But Nürnberg will doing it today as you have written they played very well and strong in the first game.

First halftime is over now and no Goals are scored from both teams . Nürnberg is playing it very well and have got a few chances to score one goal. On the other side Ingolstadt got also a few good chances and the best was from a freekick. Both teams playing good and its a nice game to watch, intresting will be the second half for sure .

Ingolstadt played rather cautious as expected, but I placed a bet on over 1.5 now @2.20 and put another order in for higher odds. Ingolstadt has to open up in the second half and get more aggressive and this will result in more space for Nürnberg. Would be nice, if Ingolstadt scored the lead, then I easily see a second goal coming. Nürnberg taking the lead would take all tension out of the game at this point, but with Ingolstadt not caring any more then, we could still see more goals.

in 3 out of 4 halfs "the Club" had everything under control and Ingolstadt had no idea how to score even one goal. Now in the course of not even 15 minutes Nürnberg is on the brink of relegation and we have the well-known relegation-playoff-drama. It's hard to believe that a team that has the individually better players can't control a game and bring a 2-0 over the finish line. As a neutral football fan, it's now a great game to watch. One goal from Nürnberg and they are the ones who'll be celebrating.

Omfg what an crazy relegation match between Nürnberg and Ingolstadt. I realy thought that Nürnberg will going down into the 3rd League. And in the last minute the scored the Goal they needed , well played Nürnberg but also very good played from Ingolstadt. By the way my bet was wrong for the win , but fuck it Nürnberg is next year in the second league woooooot.

Well, that was indeed a crazy finish. Poorly defended by Ingolstadt in the end, but I am glad they didn't make it, since a) I can't stand their coach and b) Nürnberg makes 2. Bundesliga more attractive. Both games combined, Nürnberg somehow deserved to stay in the league, although in that second half we saw the "old" Nürnberg, who basically fell apart out of nowhere. Lets see, if Wiesinger will (be allowed to) continue, my bet goes on Dieter Hecking to coach the team for next season, lets see. Some fresh odds for next season already up: Source: https://sports.tipico.com/all/1101/30201/769510Surprised to see Düsseldorf at the top there, but probably correct, since Hamburg is struggling financially. However hard to judge until some transfers were made and we see the rosters shaping up. And as always there will be a team that surprises everyone (Bochum ? St. Pauli ?).

Yeah, after that 3 goals i already has lost the hope that they score the goal they needdd. At this time they played not very well in the defense and had some luck too. The german League has ended now but only 4 weeks for the New League will be starting. Champions League games are still coming soon.
