I know I can’t wait to see Carmelo and LeBron play together as well as seeing Steph and Klay together again. It will be a big day for sure. I can’t wait. So long story short we have ourselves a role player money here, Marcus smart got money that he truly deserved, he was a 77 million in 4 years type of guy and he got that, every role player that is 6th or 7th man gets that kind of cash these days unless you are Nets and you are out of money after 3 stars .

He truly deserves it as one of the faces of the Celtics roster.
I think they will be going for long-term on Marcus Smart.
He is 27 now and will be 31 years old when he finishes this new 4-year contract. That's still a young age for an NBA player and that could even be the prime of his career if injury won't hit him. Having an experienced guy that is as wise as him will be an enormous kick for the young guns of the Green jersey team.

You're probably right. If the Suns had signed him in the previous season, he would have been very useful to them in the final series, especially in defense against Giannis. However, it's worth noting that signing the contract with McGee isn't still enough for the Suns to be a contender for the title next season.

Why? They are the contender last season. I think that's enough. If Ayton will improve his inside game it will be more worth it. Last series against the Bucks he was so exhausted trying to defend everyone inside the rim. That's why Pat Connaughton had been intercepting some rebounds because Ayton was too exhausted defending other guys and unable to take a good position afterwards.
I think they should also put some players with big bodies to help Ayton. Suns already have strong offensive players. Focus more on defense.

We also forgot that when the coming of European players, the NBA change too. Dirk was too lanky when he starts his NBA career, tall, but can dribble the ball and can shoot outside including three's.

Shaq was another one, tall, and damn, so powerful that no one can stop him during his prime with the Lakers, he can dribble the ball too.

I remember Vlade Divac and Anderson Verajao as well, there are a lot of floppers even in the 80's and 90's. Karl Malone used to flop against Dennis Rodman and exaggerate things.

October feels like a long time when you're excited to watch another NBA season with new different set of players in a notable team.
I'm kinda excited to watch Klay return to the game as well. That was quite a long time that he wasn't able to play. I don't see any notable addition to the GSW yet.
The Lakers are quite stacked when you look at the paper, but they're all veterans, I'm wondering how the Lakers manage this so many veteran talents.
What I am also expecting is a healthy Brooklyn Nets team.

No, Suns is intact last year, they have a good team chemistry, it's just that Saric went down on Game 1 against teh Bucks. And it even they have Javale that time, I don't think he can defend Giannis, maybe challenge him in the air, but for sure he will commit some fouls along the way.

Yeah they have good team chemistry but unfortunately they are lack of courage after Bucks keep winning on their game, Maybe they should adjust to that situations and their roosters should step up towards this situation and they need to handle the pressure so that they can win the finals. Maybe we can see a different Suns next season since they add a good center which can contribute on depensive ends as well as a little much scoring.

Well, I know that they will make a move like this already because they almost win the championship already if only they have a reliable 2nd center.
Now with the addition of McGee, the Suns Backcourt will be stronger now because of him. He improved already thanks for the Warriors and he isn't the McGee years ago where he is the star of Shaq-Tin A Fool .

I just hope that the Suns and Coach Williams will make use of him more often and give him some minutes .

Some say T'wolves decision is a bad one but I disagree again. (Pat didn't feed me anything, don't worry.) I just like Pat for whatever team he drops in, they will be a playoff contender and better WCF. His defensive style is contagious and some players need that to boost their morale even on a losing game.
We will see if they really made a bad trade here, or it could be proved wrong.

Lol, and pat bev tweeted "grit and grind!!!" on twitter just the other day lol, and now he is gone. Let's face it, dude is not wanted anywhere to be fair, if he was even a slightly bit of a decent player would anyone trade him for culver and hernangomez?
