I don't understand why there has to be a champion this year, or why we have to start for sure, like what is worst that could happen if there is no more nba season this year and we start back up next year? Why is that so bad? I have watched over 20 seasons of NBA so far in my life, and if I can live at my life expectancy that means I will watch at least another 40 seasons as well, that is over 60 seasons of NBA in my lifetime, I think that is more than enough, why would I force players to gamble with their lives and play the remainder of this season as well?
It makes no sense. If the vaccine is 3-18 months to go, that means I am fine with missing next year as well, who cares about some stupid ring when we are talking about hundreds of lives at stake here.

We don't have any specific date for when the NBA season would resume because of the pandemic, and I'm sure the NBA could not start right away after we found the vaccine I guess we will need to disinfect everything first before getting back to the court that will take a month or two. If we are under normal circumstance, I'll really wanna go with the Milwaukee Bucks since they got top 1 on the standing board right now in the east conference however Raptors won't that be too comfortable with just an old ring right? Still LA Lakers in the west.

Everything will be determine once there's already a go signal from the government. You are right regarding to continuing the disinfection of the surroundings before the game resume. Regarding to your pick from both sides, Both LA's teams have the chance for the finals since both teams have strong lineups, it will going to be a battle between coaches and how the players are focus winning the title.

This year is different, both teams from the West and East are unpredictable in terms of who among these teams are going to the conference finals or the NBA finals. It's supposed to be a very fun betting experience in the playoffs this year, but sadly everything was ruined by this damn virus.

Ah man, the NBA playoffs were supposed to start today, 18th April. Anyway, something that may cheer you up, ESPN will air "The Last Dance", a documentary following Michael Jordan and Bulls 1997-98 season. Five consecutive Sundays and 10 total episodes starting off tomorrow April 19th at 9 p.m. Eastern. Director is Jason Hehir, "The Fab Five" and a few other memorable '30 for 30' documentaries. More on the story and full schedule here: https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/michael-jordan-last-dance-documentary-how-watch-online-tvWill definitely watch this. I only have "The Essentials" for now and I want all the volumes of Michael Jordan. (Airtime, Come Fly With Me, etc..) Something I want to pass on to my children when they grow up. Gotta have a DVD player too. Nowadays, they just use flash drives and Sata hard drives. They might say my DVD is made in the Jurassic era.

Ahh, actually I saw this recently on Pewdiepie's MyDay (on youtube). I get confused at first because he supposed to share about video games and stuff, right? . Anyway, I will try to watch it as well and relive their magical moments particularly how Steve Kerr pull off the winning shot .

Not sure what would be the resolution that time, hopefully we can see some HD like video of this match. Personally, I've not watch those games yet as I am not so active in watching NBA that time though I know Jordan and I also believe he was the greatest NBA player on his era, but as of now, it's Kobe Bryant which I think the best,.. disclaimer : it's my personal opinion only. Anyway, going to to watch this.

Not sure if I have seen this documentary but definitely I have seen the Fab Five already. Yes, probably love to watch those again, I still remember one of my very first time watching NBA games thru internet was around '97. And I vividly remember staying in office during weekends just to be able to watch NBA games and the Finals back then because I don't have internet that time at home.

I'll see if I can the highlights on YouTube after tge show, I sure wouldn't be chanced to follow this week's live. Probably not the worst idea, each episode is 1 hour long minus all the ads and breaks, you'll definitely save some time. Will definitely watch this. In 98 MJ scores the game-winner over Bryon Russell. Not sure if I have seen this documentary It's a premiere!

I haven't watched Fab Five before, I didn't even know those players were all at the same team neither, from even just the comments I just read about it, they basically changed the recruitment and rule processes in the NCAA world with how they were, I also really really love Webber so I will definitely be watching it for sure.
Plus, the last dance would be awesome as well, that is the last year they were all together and that was one hell of a great team, I know when you look at it at today's perspective and see them playing so slow you might think that game is changed and that team would be destroyed today but if they played a faster pace basketball with that talent, I believe they would be unstoppable, think of Jordan shooting 40+ times a game, that dude would average over 50 points a game.

That DVD brings so many memories, and the ducktape on the side. Damn! I just want to preserve the box from being torn apart. I hope the kids in this time will also see this show. There might be another "Michael Jordan" kid out there which will be inspired of how great a basketball player could be and how fans are screaming for him. Someone who will love the game as much as Michael and Kobe. It's getting a lot of attention now. When people compare LeBron and Jordan, the different eras in which they play(ed) is always a focal point. The general old-school sentiment is that it was harder to score in Jordan's era because the defense was more physical and the game was slower, but a common counter to that is the athletes are better these days and Jordan, who shot just 32.7 percent from 3 for his career, wouldn't thrive quite as much in 3-point heavy league.
Kevin Durant says nonsense to that. Speaking with Jay Williams on the ESPN show "The Boardroom," Durant was asked where he thought Jordan would fit into today's NBA hierarchy.
"He can adapt his game to anything," Durant said. "He would fit in as the best player in the league. That's what he would be. He would have more possessions to do more things. More space for M.J. to go to work. We'll never know, but for sure he's a masterful basketball player, and like we've been saying his skill level is unmatched." https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kevin-durant-details-why-michael-jordan-would-be-the-best-player-in-the-league-in-todays-nba/

^ Coming from the guy who is a well-known killer beyond the arc, that's something. With today's rule, I don't think Jordan would need to improve on his three-point shooting. He can surely exploit the spaces in the perimeter given how the floor is spread in today's game. Anyway, we can just assume here since this isn't happening.
Reading comments on social media about the first episode and they say it's on fire. I think I'll just wait until all episodes have been aired and watch them in one sitting

Exactly, the game has really evolve, from a physical game to now a very soft game and that is evident by players trying to make more outside attempts than going inside the paint. Just like the big man, supposedly they will master the inside scoring, but some big man now, also try to improve their 3 point shooting, so I think as the NBA continues, we will see teams more reliant to 3 point shooting.

Reading comments on social media about the first episode and they say it's on fire. I think I'll just wait until all episodes have been aired and watch them in one sitting Have done it before. But, I just borrowed the copy from a friend and I immediately finished it in just 3 days if I remember correctly. Better to have a copy of this. There will be times when you just want to watch how great MJ is. Specially this quarantine times. Also, a good display in a furniture near your television.

I wish I have some source to download those, anyway, watching it all at once is good rather than waiting for another episode to come. just like my way of watching anime episodes, I let it all end the season before I start downloading. MJ prime is amazing, it'll be fun to watch with NBA fans like my dad.

Are you talking about the last dance which is a currently hot tv series all over the internet because it is recently released in this morning. It is the documentary about the legacy of the Jordan especially with the year 1996-1997. Probably that NBA starts like Lebron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden and many more are watching it. I really miss the NBA now and also I really miss to gamble some amount of money, I know that the things will go back to normal where we can see that the NBA will operate normally again. In that way we can bet again and make money online.

Better though, than streaming it live which might get lags for most of the time.

We can "assume" he would be good anyway but also the fact that dude basically played the best possible way he could play for his period and for his time.
People shot a lot of midranges during his era and he was the best at doing just that, he didn't grew up in an era where everyone shot threes, actually nobody really grew up that much during that period, we are talking about league moving from that to three pointers since 2013-2014 period and someone who got drafted last year would have been probably 13-14 years old by that time and players usually learn what to do by that time, sure there could be some people who jacked up their shooting numbers but it is still the newest strategy in the book so far.
If Michael Jordan was a 2000 born player and grew up with today's technology and today's practice methods and today's love for three pointers, he would have worked on that instead of his isolation midrage fadeaways, which he would have perfected since he is a very hard working person and was quite talented as well.
