Seth was highest % in the three point shooting one season I think, a better shooter when you consider efficiency because Seth is only taking shots when he feels like he is open and he can shoot. Steph is not like that because he is the main scorer of a 5 time finals team, so obviously Steph will shoot a lot more and that includes crazy shots that we all know Steph very well about. Dude shoots from almost the logo time to time and he makes them more than other players as well so that is why he can do it.
I compare seth with klay more, they are both shooters and purely that, a shooter. I still would want to see Seth at warriors though, think about putting Steph and point guard and Seth at shooting guard and Klay at small forward. That would basically be ideal for them and I do not know how two brothers would play together, it will be either awesome or would be very bad.

He is in good hands now with Dallas. If I am Mark Cuban I would keep this guy just like Doncic.
Unfortunately, Cuban is known for not retaining a role player. He is always focused on the main core. Kind of, rushing things while building up. A famous one is when he destroyed their championship lineup, the season after they get their first NBA title. I never forget his bad move about that as a long Mavericks enthusiast lol. And he always does that kind of moves every season although I like the last one which is transferring DSJ to Knicks as I noticed, this guy's chemistry with Doncic is not that good. Seth is also inconsistent in every game. He can be fired up today but the other day, poor performance. The reason that Cuban might look into the future. But in fairness, Cuban maybe see something to Seth that's why they consider having him back to the team. No way they will just offer a 4-year contract to this guy without a good reason.

They have a very young line up, and I think they are ready for the championship if they keep improving. The best in the NBA like Lebron, Kawhi, Durant, and Curry will soon age and retire, so they might take the throne in the East, Doncic being able to show an MVP caliber at a very young age, I wonder, he will just continue to improve as long as he is healthy. Hopefully when Dallas achieve that success again, Cuban will not make the same mistakes he did before.

Time flies and those top players of this era will surely be replaced by younger ones and i dont have any doubts with Doncic into that place. He already prove out that he's capable for such recognition. For now its still early to say about retirements or whatsoever but we already have in mind and do able to witness which players are in next in line. Cuban will surely not commit the same mistake and as harizen said about Seth, getting him again does really have a significant reason.

Totally agree with you. They defeated a strong Miami back then, he should've keep them for another year. It is like the story of the Bulls when they changed their GM at The Last Dance film. Also on the brink of breaking the team. Seth is also inconsistent in every game. He can be fired up today but the other day, poor performance. The reason that Cuban might look into the future.
I think that inconsistency came from not having much minutes in his teams before. Now, he could remain hot if they will put him on the main core. But in fairness, Cuban maybe see something to Seth that's why they consider having him back to the team. No way they will just offer a 4-year contract to this guy without a good reason.
It might be because of what he did during the WCF against GSW. He really shine there with his defense. Cuban may knew he already had an offensive guy in the name of Doncic and now he is just looking for role players for their weaknesses which is defense.

As we can see. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/curryse01.htmlHis points has improve in Dallas compared with Portland, so we can say that he is really effective with the Dallas Mavericks. Curry will be a big help especially during playoff times as he loves to show what he can do, both offense and defense he is good and as expected, when Doncic can't score because the defense is focus on him, a role player will have to step up.

He also had a similar average this season in his previous season with the Mavericks, the 2016-17 season. They let him go and then they take it back, so I think Curry will stay with the Mavericks for awhile since his role is not really a starter and he provide good minutes.

I think that is because he proved something to the Dallas Mavericks management. Some management tend to make errors like this. IMO, it is not the stats of Seth for me. It is how he moves on that floor whenever there is a call for defense. That cannot be seen on records but scouts do take note of that. Keep him, that is all I wish. Make them the new generation of splash brothers.

The way he shows he's competitiveness bring him back to Dallas, Seth giving quality minutes for the Mavs he's helping Luka in terms of providing points creating space and additional options for their offensive attacks. He's very effective whenever he's inside the court. The management is building good chemistry, we can all see that with how Luka appreciates everyone and enjoy playing alongside with his teammates.

Although I really don't know Luka but I can judge on his face that he is having fun playing with his teammates, he is a star and he is not like other superstars that likes to take all the credit themselves, the reason why the Mavericks is very successful now is because of their chemistry, players on the floor are confident with what they will do, even the big mans now are providing quality minutes, so I can expect that once they will be in the playoffs, they will always have a shot even if they will be the dog.

Yeah and that is cool. Luka must really play like that so that whenever he is out with an injury he could still expect a good fight from his team mates due to the chemistry that he made. They might not be the strongest in the West but who knows. They really do have a chance if they will fight hard even with those LA teams. Just difficult to think on who will defend Kawhi or Lebron if ever they will face this monsters. Luka can't do that since he will need to save all that energy for his offensive attack. But, if it is Dallas against Denver, we might see a great game.

Keep him, that is all I wish. Make them the new generation of splash brothers. Yeah, man I agree. It is not about the stats that define the entirety of the player, well, stats really are a huge factor but sometimes the effectivity can be seen and judge by your own eyes on how you see someone play the game. However, Mavs doesn't need a new generation of splash brothers the way I see how Luka play, he seemed like LeBron, not literally as solid as Bron but he got somehow the picture of it, the way he pass and how he drives, and the IQ. Seth on the other hand is reliable downtown, and in defense as well but the right side kick for Luka is Porzingis. But whatever these 3 man can shoot anyway. It is just that they have to discover their own chemistry, and on how they can maximize each other capabilities without bothering themselves to be as alike as splash brothers.

If compared to players, it would be like Jason Kidd for me. Add a little extra on the offense with his three point shots since Kidd is not that good behind that line unless free. Lebron is like a dunker on the early stage of his career. Good looking Luka Doncic is already a playmaker at his young age. With more experience he will make more highlights just like Kidd did using unbelievable assists.

Seth curry was literally the second highest 3%pt before the season was ended short, the only player who shot better than him was George Hill and he shot half as much as Seth, while Seth has 300 shots, George had 150, give him another 150 shots and I see him going under Seth for sure. Seth was also third in 3%pt last season, he was only behind Danny Green who somehow had a career year with Raptors when he joined them, and Joe Harris who we all know is a laser sharpshooter. So long story short Seth is an unbelievable three point shooter, so is Steph, I don't know whats up with that family but they know how to shoot.
Obviously we would all prefer Steph if presented with the choice, but if I can get Seth on my team, any team, I would, dude just makes a big big big threat on three point line that not many people can, so he has this auro to him that draws defenders to him, that is always super important.

Hi @Reid, i have watched episode 6 of The Last Dance where Michael Jordan was brought to controversy because of his gambling and i have read somewhere that his retirement from the NBA on the 1993-95 season was not truly a retirement. It was some sort of punishment/suspension by the late Commissioner Stern of his gambling activities.
Being an NBA enthusiast for a long time now, what's your opinion above?

They know because his father is a good shooter, it's in the blood man and these guys are trained early in basketball with the guidance of an NBA player who are sharp shooter as well. Obviously we would all prefer Steph if presented with the choice, but if I can get Seth on my team, any team, I would, dude just makes a big big big threat on three point line that not many people can, so he has this auro to him that draws defenders to him, that is always super important.
I would prefer Steph too, Seth hasn't proven anything yet, he needs to bring his team to the Championship and win, unfortunately, being a fan of this sport, I haven't seen a brother who both made a success in the NBA like winning a championship with their respective teams.

You damn spoiler! I haven't watched it yet bisdak40! Well if that is true then there are a lot of reason for him to do it. First is the death of his Dad. That was all a "big question" to all of us. It is really done by the Mafia or Michael is already having problems financially due to his gambling addiction and his Dad was just dragged by it. But all of this are still conspiracy as I read thru some articles. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/michael-jordan-gambling-conspiracy-theory/1y9xdyy6nknb1wmv5rqlwvmjnIs it said in the 6th episode that it is the truth?

After all the gamblings he did, and media/talks about it. "Stern: No penalties for Jordan; case closed"
