The effect of Bogdanovic out for the Jazz is not that big compared to LA out for spurs, so I would still bet on the Jazz here as they are very well playing as a team. Since there is no home court advantage in this series, I'll always consider betting the Jazz on whichever team they will play, without Bogdanovic which is a big contributor, I think they will be an underdog and I like that.
That is true, with Mitchell, Gobert, Conley and Clarkson Utah has much deeper roster than Spurs, but they might face some tough teams in the first round of playoff. Currenty they are 4th seeded, with 1 win advantage over Oklahoma, Rockets and Dallas. If they manage somehow to keep spots 4 and 5, I would say that their chances in first round are still pretty solid, but in case they slip to 6th or 7th place, that means they would face Nuggets/Clippers/Lakers in the first round, and we all know that means end for them. Without Bogdanovic they could easily slip to those spots. At least they have pretty good schedule for those 8 games that gives them chances to finish top 4: Thunder, Pelicans, Grizzlies, Lakers, Lakers, Spurs, Spurs, Mavericks. With Nuggets, the chances are higher if Gobert will be the same as how he defends tall guys like Jokic. It is true though it will be better to stay in the middle. I agree with that, Nuggets is a well matched team for the Jazz, they both love to rotate the ball. For Nuggets, Jokics could be their best scorer in the game, which I think he will really be tired when Gobert will defend him very well. Gobert's job is very simple for the Jazz, just protect the paint and let his teammates scores as they have a lot of scorers ready to contribute. This is the time that we can see Conley, Clarkson, and Mitchell to showcase their talent, and I trust them to succeed. Clarkson had been scoring good numbers in his season and I think they will need him more at the playoffs without Bogdanovic.
There is no doubt that Clarkson will get some minutes here, and it's his time to shine so teams will be going after him when his contract expires. So I am still rooting for the Jazz as long as they will not face the 2 LA teams in the first round.

It's just funny that it was JR Smith which was focused here.
Probably because he has gotten many times of suspension in anti-drugs. Probably. I do remember though one part in Last Dance when Michael found something when he entered the room of his teammates back when he was still young. Looks like this is normal for them when no test for recreational drugs will happen.
Let us not jump to conclusions about the Spurs. Difficulty: Hardcore/Nightmare But, a chance is still there for them. If other teams lose their game and Spurs is still at their best then a snatch for the 8th seed could come true.

Good luck to them anyway, I always wish them luck as I like them as a team, but I'm just being honest here.

Thanks for this. So the number 3 format was the chosen one. Great! Pelicans still have chance to make in the playoffs. Probably because he has gotten many times of suspension in anti-drugs. Probably. Yeah, seems like it's a powerful potion for them though.

I'm really concerned if this season will continue this year or not, because what if the whole team has been infected and didn't recover until the appointed time of when they resume the game back. I think it's so hard to think about that right now because to resume the game we need to see the 30 teams be complete or else the NBA games as we know will never be the same this season.

Yeah, seems like it's a powerful potion for them though. Mega potion or Elixir. Whatever they call it, I am sure they can fly afterward. Maybe they still want to be like Mike. I am sure they are always updated by team management. If not, then resuming the game will be non-sense. I'm more concerned about the authorized personnel who will keep on getting in out the court. And of course, the media. I bet they are all handpicked and undergo a covid test.

They just need to continue playing as a team since the blending is already there for them. Getting that spot still possible, Clarkson addition really working as he contribute good numbers for the team. But like what you have said they need to have strong run to stay in this position. Still unclear with how this league will proceed as there's still no vaccine for this virus. Chances to endanger the team still high.

Like Mike Jackson? Fly like superman?. If my memory serves me right, JR Smith had one game that missed all shots, scoreless, because of that powerful potion.

Klay Thompson and Michael Beasly as well when we are talking about people being high. I think it is in the eyes, that relaxed semi-closed eye thingy make you think about them using weed, at least that is what actors look like when they smoke weed in Hollywood movies, so we saw so many people with those eyes that whenever someone has that type of look we assume they smoke weed. Plus some of them actually got suspended for weed . So, that is direct evidence. I don't really know what weed has to do with basketball though, I get that you shouldn't take steroids, sure that looks like it is risky and it could actually even kill you if you are not careful, but how does weed make you a better player? I believe if you smoked weed you could actually be worse, so why is it banned? Whats the actual reason behind it? Is it legality? Because, it is legal in many states now.

No reason at all, not even in basketball. It is just their hobby(probably). I had heard once you try drugs just for once, the addiction will really hit you so hard(just like cigarettes that hard to stop using it). Maybe because it is legally, I guess.

So the number 3 format was the chosen one. Great! Pelicans still have chance to make in the playoffs. Yes, they have a chance to make it on the playoffs. Zion should stay healthy. Like I said a few pages back, Pelicans is almost out of the playoffs discussion before then suddenly they able to join the closed competition at the bottom when Zion comes back from his injury. Because of that, JJ Reddick's playoffs streak has a chance not to break. He never missed playoffs on his entire career. I'm really concerned if this season will continue this year or not, because what if the whole team has been infected and didn't recover until the appointed time of when they resume the game back. For now, there is a 100% chance that the season will continue this year - as long as everything is properly set up and all teams are ready. Obviously, that "what if" scenario is part of the discussion on their table. Surely, there is a plan just in case that "what if" happened and teams should always be up-to-date about the health status of the whole organization. We should have just to stay positive, not with the virus, but to hope that no more virus-related cases will happen within the NBA.

Let's jump on the conclusion so fans won't expect. We have to accept the fact that Spurs is now done for this season. Even I don't want that to happen but I don't want to expect anymore. Even the legendary Phil Jackson coaches them this season, only their morale will be a boost but it's not enough when they are competing against the monster of the West. Memphis Grizzlies will hold the 8th spot, that's for sure. It's now a matter if upset will happened once when they faced the 9th spot for the last playoffs spot. Because of that, JJ Reddick's playoffs streak has a chance not to break. He never missed playoffs on his entire career.
Possible, might not be. I remember that presscon. Zion response, why me I'm just a rookie.

This will be a good start for the young Pels if they can chase the 8th spot. Making to the playoffs would be their first step to become a dominant team in the future, I mean these team are young and talented, all hungry to win a championship. I hope they'll keep intact for the next 5 years. Maybe they could look for a dominant big man, and this team would be invincible in the coming years. 4 games behind the 8th seed, still got a lot of chances there, as long they won't lose a game.

Will this not be a problem with his shooting practices? https://www.foxsports.com.au/basketball/nba/a-ripped-ben-simmons-looks-ready-to-tear-the-nba-apart/news-story/cb8c64f1912a5ac565441b04800697b6I know the feeling of shooting the ball after creating more muscle. It's like the ball is the size of a tennis and the weight is so light. On other news. LeBron James ready to rescue the NBA - and vice versaThe sport's box office king is healthy, hyper and, last we saw, still serving up quality basketball. Therefore, this is the tonic for a league and its network partners looking to recoup staggering losses from a four-month delay, and for legions of fans starved for live basketball drama instead of a documentary from a foregone era. And it is a tonic for a 35-year-old legend who knows this could be his best or only chance to win a title with his third team. https://www.skysports.com/nba/news/36244/12003447/lebron-james-ready-to-rescue-the-nba-and-vice-versaI put a short part of it on bold asking if it's really necessary.

Now almost every star players have their problems to resume playing this season. I guess he won't gonna play again this season, they are better to rest him off until next season to fully condition him like Curry and Thompson. Lilliard and the others who don't want to play again should take some intense practice to further improve their skills to give us the best of their version next year.

Too early to say Zion won't play once NBA resumed. If you read the shared news, I don't see how's that case will able to suspend Zion from coming back to play. And for Lillard and the Blazers, they should play. NBA is a professional league and a player or team can't just say, "we don't want to play". Who's the other star players that have a problem playing this season? Aldrige? Yes, injured. But the majority of other stars will play.
