It's huge loss for him if he still can't get a good contract since he will be the same with Oladipo where he decline the offer of Indiana. Maybe he's value will decrease if there's no team will agree to what he contract he likes. Maybe this issue is from his agent and they demand to much to lakers or any other team and this is lesson needed to learned by other players that they should settle on the current offers if they didn't prove anything yet.

That's really a loss for him as his agent thinks that he have that value but suddenly Lakers didn't see that value after giving
him a season to comes up and bring additional force for this team.

Lesson learn to all players as they might lost that opportunities to have a better contract and continue playing with a good deals behind.

Wrong decision, he thinks he could be like LBJ or KD, this kid has a lot to learn in life, he started with a small contract, wanting to get a high contract and he got it, but he got greedy, want more until the time has come that no more opportunity has open for him.

Yeah that is what I am probably most excited about, seeing what Zach Lavine can do with a legitimate roster around him.  If he can't get them to a decent playoff seed then it will show he is not the super star that some ( or he ) believes that he is or is becoming.  To actually win a championship we would still need another super star, but this is certainly a good start for him.  I have to imagine if he plays well this year he will be offered a max contract..but we shall see.

Their last playoffs appearance was 2017 and they were blocked by the Celtics in the first round with 4 win streak after Bulls win the first 2 games.
That was Butler and D. Wade's time. We could say that was a long time ago and Lavine came after that year. 3-4 years without a good team mate and now that he have some I bet he is also super excited about what will come out of their chemistry.

I do! This 5 superstars can do the damage both inside and outside and the good thing here, they are also good in playing defense, they can hit you both side, and it's a complete package where determination to win is all what they wanted to do.

Compared to the current team US where still having a hard time rotating, though in fairness they already adjust after that lose from France
but I mean this Lakers Starting 5 knows that LeBron will create the play all they have to do is to wait for him to start moving either one on one or rotate the ball to the best open man for a high percentage shot.

I remember Latrell Sprewell, he was playing very good with the Knicks but then declined a huge contract sighting "I have families to feed", unfortunately, no one wanted him because of the PJ Carlesimo incident and then he just lost himself in NBA. And when some team get him, he was already past his prime. I do hope that it won't happen to Dennis.

He is trying to play a risky game, if he wins, he can maximize his income but if he loses, he will have nothing,  I think his agent doesn't have a good analysis, they try to play the games of an elite superstar but Dennis is not yet in that level.

I am not saying that no team will ever pay him that kind of money and his chances are 100% gone, but lets be honest with each other, it is obvious that dude has lost his chance with many teams so far and it is not looking good. So, what we are seeing right now is him trying to oversell his talents and then it is not looking good for him because his talents do not worth that much for nearly 20 teams so far.

I personally believe that he was a 15 million a year type of guy, that extra was a bit of a oversell, 4 years 60 million would be perfect for him, and not like that is a small amount neither, that would be enough for him for all his life, we are talking about 60! million here. He earned some other money so far, and probably will earn more later, lets say ALL of that money is expenses during his career, even with that 60 million is more than 100 families will make in a life time.

Let's make this deal to be finalized yet before we make speculation, one thing is sure is that the 76ers will let go of Simon as he is not improving for a player that receives a good contract with them. Warriors is a championship team, Simmons playing with the unselfish team will make him better, with Curry's ability to shoot as one of the deadliest 3 pointers, I think the inside will be more open and that's where Simmons could penetrate.

His weakness is only the Free throw, or probably a little bit of a "low IQ" problem, but that can fix over time if he is willing to learn.

Wiggins proved himself in that play-in tournament. He is making progress with the GSW team so I agree with you.
This might become a bad trade in the long run. He is a good reserve whenever the splash brothers are taking their rest.
I don't know what GSW management is thinking but he had made some adjustments and averaged double-digit per game.

Iggy is just looking for another 5m this year.  Retire on your championship team is just an alibi to be signed.

Kemba's case though is different, Charlotte made a good decision in trading him because of his injury. And then when Boston acquired him, he wasn't the same Kemba when he was in Charlotte and I would say that he become more of a liability with the Celtics as he reinjured himself again and again that's why they didn't see any value of him and decided to trade him.

But Dennis case is not, he is still healthy, but who knows, declining to play with the Lakers with so much potential to win a ring, maybe he value more of the money that he could get, but the question is what team are going to get him, so yeah, it's a risk on his part.

No offense but I'd rather put Wayne Ellington as their starting shooting guard and will put Carmelo in the bench. The Lakers are lacking in offense especially in threes.
What is the career 3pt % of Anthony? 35.2% while Ellington is 38.2% and take note that he is 42.2% 3pt shooter last season. Defensively, Howard and Davis are good enough already to dominate the paint.

Iguodala to Warriors again? A reunion again . Its just unfortunate that Barnes didn't return to the Warriors but still Iggy can still be a big piece defensively and he knows the team already because he stayed there for a long time so he knows what he will do there.

In Simmons-Wiggins trade, I think that this might be a good trade. Wiggings + 1 draft pick for Simmons would be enough knowing that Simmons' value decreased by a lot. On the other hand though, Wiggins might be a good fit in the team. Curry, Green, Wiggins, Harris, Embiid and Drummond as their reserve big.

But they ask to much on every teams who show an interest on Simmons so provably they cannot seal the deal if the ask to much just to dispose him on Sixers but if they lower down there ask trade piece maybe they can make this trade happen as they for sure right now Sixers and Simmons doesn't have a good relation right now. If Warriors can successfully get Simmons on their team then a huge chance for this team to go to playoffs or even more.
