I watched it as well and this statue is truly terrible. You can tell when looking ad Dwayne Wade's face that he wasn't too happy either. I mean come on, they have so much money and how many statues in the NBA do we actually have. And they come up with this ?? Dirk's statue in Dallas was also quite "special" I would say but the face is just horrendous. How could they green light this? He looks like straight out of a horror movie. 

Well, Wade had some word as well obviously but the best he said was : " Who is that guy? "

I see so, with all of the reuploads, the quality of the photo becomes poorer and then that's why many think that it's not him. It's no doubt that the effort that's done for his statue is tough but the end-result really looks not him. The recognition that's given to him is more than enough than of the statue and it's just a bonus. Well, he can't complain with the outcome of it if that's really the design and the perspective of the artist that has done that. He's not that rude at all or whatnot, he's got that personality and probably being influenced by the reaction of the people present at that press conference of the Heat.

That was supposed to be an epic moment for Dwayne Wade but it turns out to be bad for him since the status is unrecognizable if Wade's jersey will be out of that statue. Its like the artist fuck up that moment and many people made fun at that moment.

Maybe Miami want to save some cost and instead of creating a similar statue that represent Wade it turns out to be so bad.

As avp2306 said above, if this sculpture had not been wearing a jersey with Wade's number on it, it is unlikely that anyone would have guessed that this sculpture depicts Wade. There is no resemblance at all in the face and facial expressions.
In any case, it's nice that the Heat management decided to pay tribute to Wade, but I agree that they should have redone it.

Banchero had an impressive 50 points in the win against the Pacers, along with 13 rebounds and 9 assists - almost a triple-double! This guy is really special, and he keeps getting better each season. I find him quite underrated, especially since he doesn’t get the same level of recognition as other players with similar production. It’s probably because his team isn’t a consistent playoff contender yet.

On the other hand, the Nuggets almost faced a three-game losing streak. Fortunately, Murray managed to bring the game to overtime, and the Nuggets squeaked out a win by just 2 points, thanks in large part to Jokic’s 40 points and 10 rebounds. Honestly, though, I feel this team isn’t the same as before; they’re not as dominant anymore and almost lost to an undermanned team.

The criticisms is just enough, and I hope they will change it, but I doubt that it will happen. And they're facing against a below 500 team in Raptors and yet, they're having a hard time beating them.
TBH, I have low expectations towards the Nuggets this season just because of how bad the role players they have now. When they won a title, their bench is very deep (the deepest at that time), but now? Ever since they traded Jeff Green, and Bruce Brown, it's been a disaster for them. Westbrook on the other hand isn't contributing that much at all or at least he doesn't meet the expectations from his teammates. I will predict that they will be at end at the 5th-8th spot this season.
Anyway, let's give our prayers to Taylor Hendricks of the Utah Jazz for having that scary leg injury. I don't know, but it's almost the same as Gordon Hayward or Paul George's injury. I tried to watch it once, and I can't do it anymore. That's how awful that injury is. I wonder how will this one affects his career along the way. Hoping for a fast recovery still. The creators of memes already have taken interest in this insult of an honoring. I am sure there is more to come and this is just the start.
Hopefully for everyone involved they can somehow consider working on the face a bit more because if this stays as it is I don't think people will actually see it for what it should be but more for a joke.

That photo looks more like Udonis Haslem. I guess the sculptor is trying to combine them into one sculpture. Or maybe a confusion happened.

A 50-pointer for Paolo Banchero and winning at home against the Indiana Pacers. Damn, that kid can really be a big threat on the offensive end and that is why I put the Magic in the wild cards that might shake the playoffs. They cannot underestimate them.
I thought they would actually lose that game after the Pacers made a big swing in the 3rd quarter scoring 39 points against the 22 points of the Magic. It helped Indiana delete the lead made by the Magic and switched to be their lead.
But Paolo cannot be stopped and scored more and with the help of Jalen Suggs they still won the game. Good game.

Damn, instead of that statue will give an honor to Wade's name now it became a meme. Miami should do something with this since its like they made fun of Wade's statue. Other legends got decent figures but Wade just got like that for sure he would never be proud that he have that statue since it really doesn't look like him.

Lol, even Wade says that we don't know who that statue is, just too bad for Miami to let this one go un-noticed. I mean before unveiling, they could have check and consult with people if they are going to make it public or not because it really doesn't look like DWade and it's a disrespect for him. I'm sorry but the one they hired do a bad job on this one and hopefully this could be the last one that we will see such sculptor of supposedly a person but it doesn't resemble him or her. As for Steph, yes, hopefully it's not that bad and he can get back to play because the Warriors had a good start for this season.

How about the Suns vs Lakers game, it was really very close, but the Suns was able to beat the Lakers this time to stop the run by Los Angeles. But it was really a fun game, KD and Booker, combine for 63 big points, as they don't want to be 0-2 against the Lakers are early.

Lebron though has a quiet night as compare to when they beat the Suns the first time with just 11 points. And it was still AD who lead the team, with another double double.

For the Lakers, it was a breath of fresh air to see them having this kind of chemistry in the game. Of course all credit should be given to JJ Reddick as it seems he had that talent to really lead and coach the Lakers and most likely players believing in their new system.

That’s very evident from the last three games they’ve won. What I like about them now is that when they're down, they don’t give up easily. And when they're up and the opponent makes a big run, they don’t just crumble. This shows they have the composure to win and trust each other. Davis has been a significant factor, and their current play is really benefiting him. Not to mention, their defense has improved tremendously as well.

While JJ Reddick isn't a great "coach" in the sense that he may not be awesome when it comes to coaching exactly, like not drawing up plays type of amazingness, there are few things about him that makes him much better than Darvin Ham without a doubt. What are those? Well first of all he is younger, which means he has easier time relating to younger players, so he is going to end up having much better communication without a doubt.

Plus, he is Lebrons close friend, and Lebron has always been a pure leader, meaning that if Lebron is respecting and caring about what JJ says, then the entire team will shut up and listen, or you would be traded next day. Also, JJ likes a style of basketball that is more fluent and based on motion, which works for this team better than just giving the ball to Lebron and expect him to do something.

All these combined, he is getting better results but also lets remember this is VERY early into the season, they have 75+ more games to play, so anything could happen, maybe they started this good but will end up terrible, we can't possibly know that.

Changing subjects though, Anthony Edwards is facing off against Luka Doncic tonight. Should be a great game and a playoff matchup from last season. I thought Minnesota was the better team then, but Luka is something special.

I know right lol. I even don't understand why D Wade is happy about it when it's obviously ridiculously made. Not even a single resemblance I could see, except for the jersey and the number lol.
There should be somehow who's better at this craft and money ain't gonna be an issue for sure lol. Anyway, we've seen Kobe and AI's statue which were also not quite good, but this one for D Wade is the worst lol.
