Steph Curry being out means terrible news for Warriors without a doubt. They already lost Klay but they were hopeful that with Wiggins and Buddy Hield being there, they would do fine and not need Klay and could replace him. But now Curry is out too, he is their best player, and he is one of the greatest players in the world right now, even at his age.

So losing him means a lot, he is saying it's mild to moderate, which means he will not eb back for a week at least, but could be as high as a month. That would result in terrible regular season results for them, and then when he comes back he will have to push himself to get back into good position and when/if they reach playoffs, he will be tired and this will cause trouble for them. I believe this is going to be very tough for them and they need to reconsider their situation, don't think they are going to end up with easy solutions on this, definitely looks like it will become an issue for them.

You're somehow pessimistic about the Warriors' results while Curry is absent due to injury. As I understand it, Curry will only be out for a few games, and his status will be re-evaluated on Friday. Moreover, the Warriors still have Green, and now is the best time for him to prove himself and prove to everyone that he really deserves that $100 million contract.

With rumors that Bronny was going to get some minutes in today's game in Cleveland I had expected the plan to be to try and get out to a big lead so him and LeBron could get in the game together.  It looks like maybe they wanted to get him some garbage minutes instead because they're down by 23 in the second quarter.  This should let Bronny get in the game.  Seems to be no harm in letting LeBron get an assist to him if the game is already out of hand.  We'll see...

Well, he got 5 minutes and made hist first NBA bucket, plus 2 assists. Saw a report that we will join the G league team next week, I mean that's clearly the better option for him than just repeatedly having DNPs.
Let's see how he can perform on a lower setting, not gonna be much easier though as everybody in the G league is fighting for their spot in the league as well. Maybe they can get some more people in the stands that want to see Bronny and the South Bay Lakers.

I’m glad he got his first bucket and the steal and assists was a nice touch for only 5 minutes. I do wish they had manufactured a moment where LeBron passed him the ball for his first bucket, but he had his chance to make that happen last time he was on the floor and missed it. I wonder if we’ll see any more from Bronny this year.

Buddy Hield carrying the Warriors to a win over the Pelicans tonight with 28 points shooting 7-11 from three point range as Steph Curry cheers him on from the bench. He scored 19 points in the fourth to close out the game. Great seeing Zion back on the court getting buckets too. The Pelicans seem like they’re close to having a good team, they’re just missing something.

Some are saying that Buddy Hield is the new "Splash Brother" or should I say, "Splash Brothers 2.0", but for me, I would call their tandem "Splash Buddies".

I guess pointing out Buddy Hield alone is an understatement because all of them contributed on offense. 6 players are in double-digits and let's take note that the Pelicans' star played awful as well. Ingram and Willilamson are combined for only 26 points with 10/31 shooting. This isn't the type of scoring that you expect if you're the main guy on offense. As for the Pelicans as a team, they lost Murray temporarily due to an injury which they expect that he'll be out for the next 3-5 weeks. McCollum also didn't play on this one as well.
Anyway, the Celtics got their first loss of the regular season against the Pacers 135-132 courtesy of Siakam's dagger three to seal it. At the same time, the Sixers again also lost to the PISTONS. Yes, they lost to the Pistons by 10 points. I mean many have high expectations with this team, and yet they even lost to a below 500 team yet again, and currently has a 1-3 record. Too early though especially now that Embiid isn't playing as well. I wonder why.

The best part is, they are not winning in a close battle, the first game against the Pelicans they won by 18 points, and now a 14-point game.
It's not that they are better without him, they just work harder because they know they won't win if they don't give their all without their superstar playing. I like the Warriors better, the young guys are learning and winning.

Surprisingly, the Trail Blazers also won a game against the Clippers while on the road. I missed the game but they just won by one point. Something crucial must've happened.
Oh, and the Pacers also won against the strong Celtics. Wow, lots of underdogs won today.

About the whole Dwayne Wade and how his statue doesn't resemble his face; I agree that it doesn't resemble him at all, and if they hired someone better then they could have done something better.

However, I can't blame the artists when Wade himself loved it and defended it, that's the issue I have. If the player himself says it's okay, then who am I to say anything about it, it is not my statue, I am not the one display there, if he is ok then he is ok and I don't care.

I have enough trouble in my life to care about some statue that the player himself approved. If he hated it and thought it looked terrible, then I would say that could make sense and I would say then we could be mad, still not enough to make me mad to be fair, but I could at least understand the outrage online.

Right now, nobody should be mad about it, because Wade is okay with it so why are you mad when he is not?

This went too long and we should move on, regular season under way so we should focus on the games instead. For me, it was another night of not winning anything recently, and I am getting used to this, this season started terrible so far and I guess it will continue to be terrible because I feel like I am bad this year.

I think some of the players from their last year has matured already, like Podz and that's why Kerr has the luxury to have most of his players in the rotation or at least the second unit still playing solid. And as you have said, even with Curry and Wiggins, they have a back to back win against the Pels.

We should also give credit to Draymond against the defense he put against Zion, and the rest against Brandon Ingram. Buddy Hield with 21 points and also hitting another great percentage from beyond the arc. What a game between the Clippers and the Portland Trailblazers, Portland though was able to get a win against the struggling Clippers this early.

I doubt it's chemistry. Maybe a real leader. A point guard, or a playmaker that will best fit Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. I doubt it's CJ and I doubt it's Jose Alvarado too. Maybe a veteran could help them out.
Truly, it's nice to see Zion playing a lot of minutes and scoring 31 points in that game but still, the Warriors played without Curry and I must say it's not a good game for the Pelicans.

I do agree, they needed someone that can really guide them, perhaps it could be in the form of a good point guard, sort of like CP3 or Dennis the Menace type of player. That can lead the team, make other players score so that they will feel good. Now they've lost back to back to the Warriors without Steph and Andrew Wiggins, both Ingram and Zion didn't score that much because of the good defense by the Warriors.

The Warriors rained 3 pointers although they outrebounded the small ball Warriors, those rebounds must result in offense because that's their only way to win. It's still early but this is not actually a good start for them if they will lose against a team without their star.

Buddy Hield still leads the team again with the absence of Wiggins and Curry. But the did get a lot of help as well from other Warriors who scored double digits. It's going to be scary if Curry and Wiggins will be back in the line up.

As I have said before, Warriors looks to be a scary team, or at least a dark horse in this season and they got another win tonight even without Curry in their lineup. So imagine if they are back fully healthy 100%, so regardless if they are in the road or travelling, for sure they will have a good chance to win.

And so we have the Cavs and the OKC as the only undefeated team. For OKC, I'm not surprised, for the Cavs, they are a complete them with Donovan Mitchell leading them with a big home win against the Los Angeles Lakers. Jarrett Allen with a huge 17 rebounds, perhaps this could be the best version of this Cavs that we will see for this season, so it's going to be a big test for them.

I just watched the highlight video from Magic @ Heat, since I am on the Magic bandwagon now, and what a terrible game this was from Orlando. They had such a great start and 50 points after 16 minutes and guess what, they didn't even crack the 100 point mark, what a shame. Also in the 2nd they lead by as many as 20 points and then just stopped scoring. In the 4th quarter they didn't score a field goal for the first almost 7 minutes.
Sometimes I really wonder how something like this can happen. Everything is going well, you lead by 20 or more, everybody is clicking, everybody is making their shots and then ...... total flip. Basketball is such a crazy sports as this happens so often.

I thought the Indiana Pacers were going to lose in their game against the Boston Celtics. The Pacers were up by 16 points with 5 minutes left, but the Celtics caught up and forced overtime. The Celtics hit a crazy streak of three pointers in those last 5 minutes, making about six threes (not sure) Lol . Luckily, the Pacers won in overtime, or else a meme of Reggie Miller's "choke" image would have surfaced about them. That was a real choke, losing a 15 point lead in the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter. It would've been more understandable if it happened from the first to the third quarter.

It’s great timing that they faced a tough team like the Celtics. Nowadays, no team can take a break, even with a big lead. A big run can happen at any time, especially against a team that shoots threes well, plus they’re the defending champs, so that's a big victory for the Pacers.

Maybe it's something special for LeBron emotionally to be on the court with his son at the same time. But I think he's well aware that Bronny doesn't have enough skills yet. I mean I'm not having a high expectation towards the Bucks this regular season, but is this what happens when you have Coach Doc Rivers and assistant coach Darvin Ham on your team? Ever since they fired Coach Bud, it has been a disaster for the whole team. They got AJ Griffin which coached them very well, but they fired him as well just to get Doc Rivers.

I will not speak about the Grizzlies because with lots of young and talented players, I expect them to be returning to the playoffs at best, but for the Bucks, I will not be surprised if they will just end up as a play-in team this regular season. Lillard and Giannis is not a good combination in my opinion plus they kicked out the coach who Giannis might've respected the most and gave them the championship. It's not the same energy in Milwaukee anymore.
The problem with Lillard is he will keep on shooting threes even though it's not sinking in at his first 3 tries, unlike other players who will attack the pain first if they cannot find their rhythm on outside shots. The Bucks played badly last year and I think it will be the same this year if they cannot find their weak point. They have less defense now and are only relying on Giannis' offensive power moves.

Tough news for Paolo Banchero who according to Shams suffered a torn right oblique. He’ll be out for six weeks. He was looking like a sure thing to win most improved player of the year so I hope this is just a temporary setback. I’ve been surprised how much success Orlando has had with him leading the team.

Same with your opinion, I think Lilard needs adjustments he can't keep throwing outside if he's not getting his rythm better to attack the basket  draw a foul or drop the ball closer either to Giannis or any big man inside, he can attract the defense which he can provide good space to his teammates, instead of pushing his outside shot without any assurance for a possible 2nd chance rebound, I was in the impression that while in off-season they will work on it seems that Coach Rivers are letting his stars to play whatever they want inside without binding with each other, though too early to judge their playing style or the sytem that they've got, let see if how they will adjust and be a good contender in the east side.
