Hedge funds are buying because they know the price of ETH will skyrocket when Augur quickly becomes the world's biggest sportsbetting platform.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Actually this is not the time to convert bitcoin into eth because its over price sooner or later the price will decrease after they saw some traders is dumping and price will be back again for the price of 0.01..

We all wish for that, but this uptrend will likely continue for many days and weeks so the chance of it go back to 0.01 is getting remote. And even if it does, I would've still made a huge profit...

...and price will be back again for the price of 0.01..

In your dream...

The Satoshi Roundtable, an invite-only BTC industry retreat held between 26th to 28th February did not bring a positive outcome to the unresolved dispute between Core developers and most bitcoin companies who want growth.

One of the guest speaker stated his concerns about the BTC Core team. Some of them "show very poor communication skills" or "lack maturity”, which he argued has kept other developers away from bitcoin.

Besides, we could see a reduction of hashing power on the network at the July halving date. Perhaps in the range of 10–50%. BTC is doomed and everyone turns it's attention to the next evolving step: Ethereum

Do you mine the Ethereum? If you mine and when the price drops and the difficulty also drops, you might still make money.

How do you know the hedge funds are buying? They have to restriction on what they can buy. A private fund may buy Ethereum.

Well, there's the retrace! 27% drop. Now it's the wait and see game - do we survive or do we go down further. I'm open to both possibilities, but I know which way I'm betting personally Wink

Although we both have been following this for some weeks now and so far I can say my predictions were correct, I must agree with you that right now I'm feeling scared since we are entering the "paradigm" shift of every bubble if this is what it is. The recent spike is just too sharp to be sustainable even by crypo standards. I mean for me it's all good and extremely profitable but we are entering unknown territories.

I have like 75% of my portfolio in Ethereum and the rest in BTC but I will be willing to buy more ETH as soon as I see a drop, it just doesn't seem to stop, I think I've missed the under 10 USD window...

Credit where it's due - you were right about it going above $10. I thought 0.0178 was the top and I was wrong.

I think we can agree that that's a very healthy shakeout since the rise in the last couple of days was just too much too soon. However nothing changed, BTC is still in trouble and Ethereum is still above $10 with plenty of interest in it (There's almost 14k BTC buy support at Poloniex). These dips happened all the way up and people called the end of the bubble each time.

No.

Dropped down a few percentages, and now it's slowly climbing back up. Relax.

There is no upper limit in a bubble, it can go up until a tulip is worth a big house.
That being said, I have no clue whether or not this will bubble and pop or get high and stay. I do know it came up very fast, so common sense says it can also disappear very fast.

ETH going much higher.  Its not some shitty alt.  It's only beginning to unfold, there are lots of dapps being developed that are coming out this year.

Remember bitcoin's early days?  When it was dicey and hard to find a safe walltet, that was when the bitcoin millionaires bought in!!!!

Ethereum is being developed actively. So I think the price will not just stop at 0.03. If bitcoin does not improve its situatioin, it could be 1.o bitcoin.

The block chain grows too fast. Is there a way to reduce the growth. People cannot mine it solo with a small SSD any more.
