Can elaborate on how can I put a password or save my MAC OS X verge wallet. Because it did not ask me for password when I downloaded it. For example if I change device or My device gets damaged or stolen, then How can I redeem my wallet ?

The balance in my verge mac osx wallet is not showing.  I have transferred coins from Bittrex to the wallet which I downloaded from the official verge website: https://vergecurrency.com/.  I have followed the instructions on http://vergecurrency.de/.  The wallet shows that it is fully synced, but the balance is zero.  I have checked my address balance on http://vergecurrency.info/ and it is showing there.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?
Or alternatively, can I upload the wallet.dat file into another verge wallet, i.e. the web wallet, to access my balance?

try going into the debug console, and typing this:

dumpprivkey publicaddress

where publicaddress is the address of where you sent the coins that have not showed up. my guess is that you corrupted the wallet somehow.

IP to IP transactions, as in the original Bitcoin protocol, can be used for merchants as they, as I understand, do not need to wait for confirmation. Although this has not really been developed as a client friendly frontend in Bitcoin as of yet, I assume at some point someone will make it. Will Verge at some point, since it obfuscates these IP addresses, develop a solution to reduce the confirmation time to near zero?

the easier for you would be to have it in the OP.

lol yeah ill do that right now. also, ill post the btc transaction id when we start the ad campaign with coinmarketcap so everyone has transparency with that and sees all funds went to it.

we've raised ~1200usd so far, between the xvg and btc donations =]

Yobit is not a recommended exchange for Verge. It is not listed on the resources page and Dev does not work with them.

YoBit is, in may opinion and many others, NOT a recommended exchange for ANYTHING. Your other choices include Bittrex, Cryptopia, NovaExahange, Coingather, Bitsquare and C-Cex. I'm sure there are others by now as well. Any of these would be preferable to YoBit unless you have no choice but to use them.
