Please give detailed steps for installation of latest directory onto Verge wallet for MAC OS X. I have tried following instruction on http://vergecurrency.de/howto but I am unable to achieve the installation and Sync in wallet.

The confusion is following:-
1- The blockchain directory is created automatically in downloads folder on my MAC but where should I paste all the contents of this directory ?
2- Are the rest of steps same and universal e.g FIRST TIME OPEN WALLET, THEN CLOSE IT, THEN COPY AND PASTE FILES etc

I use verge wallet on mac os.
You need to allow access hidden user library file on your mac, here is how you do it:

Once you do that. Download the blockchain on the http://vergecurrency.de/

Unzip it, and copy it on verge folder (paste and replace)
Verge folder would be at :
 /Users/<USER>/Library/Application\ Support/VERGE/  (like the site says)

Once pasted launch verge wallet let it sit there for 15 mins minimum then you are done.

Can elaborate on how can I put a password or save my MAC OS X verge wallet. Because it did not ask me for password when I downloaded it. For example if I change device or My device gets damaged or stolen, then How can I redeem my wallet ?

The balance in my verge mac osx wallet is not showing.  I have transferred coins from Bittrex to the wallet which I downloaded from the official verge website: https://vergecurrency.com/.  I have followed the instructions on http://vergecurrency.de/.  The wallet shows that it is fully synced, but the balance is zero.  I have checked my address balance on http://vergecurrency.info/ and it is showing there.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?
Or alternatively, can I upload the wallet.dat file into another verge wallet, i.e. the web wallet, to access my balance?

try going into the debug console, and typing this:

dumpprivkey publicaddress

where publicaddress is the address of where you sent the coins that have not showed up. my guess is that you corrupted the wallet somehow.

IP to IP transactions, as in the original Bitcoin protocol, can be used for merchants as they, as I understand, do not need to wait for confirmation. Although this has not really been developed as a client friendly frontend in Bitcoin as of yet, I assume at some point someone will make it. Will Verge at some point, since it obfuscates these IP addresses, develop a solution to reduce the confirmation time to near zero?
