Is there a way to recover some coins that were sent to me before the first fork but never showed up in my wallet? Like, can I dl the old blockchain somewhere and add on from there as far as getting back to synced?
as long as you have the private key you should be fine. just import it into the new wallet. That's the thing, I used the same exact wallet.dat and the same address from that wallet.dat. In my tx list @ hash-to-coins.com I see that they went out to that one address but never "made it", only the most recent deposit shows in my wallet. You saying I should dump the key and then import it back in? or import it into a completely new wallet.dat file?

Hi guys 1st off, I really like this coins' look and feel. Community sounds really great and devs appear to be solid stayers. First timer here (please be gentle) I thought I'd try my hand at mining for fun and experience and so I set myself up with a Dell PowerEdge C1100 Intel 24 Thread 8 GB Fully Managed Dedicated Server. I tried to get up and running on my i5 laptop first by using pooler-cpuminer-2.4.4-win64 ... set workers (tried both suchpool and suprnova) then set up my bat file ... but all I get is a blink and then terminal disappears. I've been trying for couple days now and just getting me real frustrated. I'd really appreciate a hand to get me going as the tutorials and youtube vids I've found either give me the same outcome or just confuse me. Apologies in advance for being such a noob, but I really like what you guys have here and I'd like to climb aboard. Cheers First thing..goto the bat file, and after the last line.. add pause then save the bat file, then run. now u can see the errors its giving. Report back hrm ... doesn't pause, showed first time for about 3 seconds (I was able to make out the first word of a new line that appeared briefly "Try .... " When trying again it just blinks this is contents of bat file -> minerd -a --scrypt -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3387 -u xxxxxx -p xxxxxx pause EDIT: Oh, I put "pause: on new line, doh! Read out says "minerd: unknown algorythm -- '--scrypt'

OK this is the tx for the most recent deposit that does show in my wallet which posted on 5/1/16: dbd65683b2b846ee91720f48b877a9f54e8b66ffc094eb5c8aa7da624c10393d amount: 5320.90602958 XVG This one does not show in the block explorer and obviously not in my wallet which I debited on 4/1/16: e2806e78a6a8d979239b5eb2c737506c9aceb9362ca536d89bf9508d3d180285 amount:1285.63896316 XVG I'm going to wait to do the importing etc after the new win version of the wallet gets finished.

@giant - it's getting pretty warm here, pulled the plug on the X6's.....A2 still running (uses way less watts than the two X6's). I'm using the money for electric for miner rentals. MRR is pretty reasonable and I stay cool. Dev has a link on OP . mrr? i couldnt find that in the OP at all. actually shooting you a pm. nm g

why price going down?
because whales want to buy more $XVG before pump Maybe this was a reason.. but now the price is stable since few days. So I don't think this is the real reason, maybe some people lost their interest in this coin. By the way, XVG now is really cheap! I'm buying again, dev got my trust!
