Q 1: You should be able to send it as usual, I would not be too concerned about the name Doged vs Verge. Be sure you have an updated wallet though. @ Zied RF Welcome to Verge/XVG......originally the coin was started as doge-dark or doged back in Oct 2014. The name change came earlier this year. As you see different different pools and exchanges you will see some that have not done all their name changes in parts of their site. The name is pretty much interchangable. Just be SURE that they have migrated to the latest wallet, as the old wallets don't work anymore. Keep on minin'  |

They mined and traded from other coins on the pool fine but the problem was when the pool tried to pay me out in Verge.. I think it was a problem on there end. I think it has been fixed. I wrote the owner to make sure. But when a fork happens does the pool owner need to be notified?
yes, that is why pool owners contact the devs of coins or the community, so that they can be alerted if a change occurs. what pool is it? I see Ok thanks the pool is https://prohashing.com I just went back and found the email response I got from my pool owner on my withdraw issue over at Prohash.com. Turn off the auto and confirm with pool operator they're on new wallet. THEN test with a thousand or so to confirm works. That's what I would do.....don't be a slave to an auto setting.  |

it's official i send earlier 10000,0 xvg from suprnova pool to my wallet in http://verge-wallet.xyz , and the transaction is confirmed withn 5 min javascript:void(0); thnx for all the advises Great!....Now get back in there and mine some more XVG! There's a halving coming up at block 378,000 (coin is currently about block 346,775) and the blocks are coming fast and steady.  |

I'm mining mostly to support the network, but the new algos are pretty dang efficient, you'd be surprised, but yeah buying is probably the way to go. ---- Im wondering how well a Tesla home battery and solar setup would play out for crypto, anyone running that? (not sure if theyre even available yet) |
