I decided to just do a fresh resync but I have been stuck at block 19,500 for quite a while now.

I think you guys that are assuming a massive dump are missing a few things.
The people, myself included, with enough XVG to actually dump on the market, know what is going on.
The people that hold 1000 VERGE can dump all they want. They bought during the last surge and got spooked by the market freeze. They probably don't know what BitcoinTalk is.
If you REALLY expect a dump, then the smart move on your part is to dump right along with it and buy back.
Whether we want to admit it or not there is little to no organic growth in alts. Most of the time the markets move because someone with a lot of money has decided to move the market. Within, those big market movements, I expect support will grow because the dev is really good and this coin can do what no other can. That's why I'm here.

Compiled the latest git, cleared the blockchain, it hangs and only gets orphans or continuously reorganises the chain.
Stopping and restarting may help, still I can't reach the last block.
Any snapshot?

just so everyone is aware, the tipbot in irc, and the android wallet server will be resyncing, so if they are down, i can assure you its just temporary. most of the nodes were updated last night however.

Finally synced. I just installed wallet on a different rig and let it sync and then moved wallet.dat.
The block shows 338,198 in the debug command with 3 connections but the wallet says "out of sync" and in red but it looks like it is up to the correct block.

everyone go ahead n make sure your wallet version says
"v2.0.0.0-c7ef985-funky-beta"
if it has a different string after 2.0.0.0 you are on the wrong wallet, please download another from the main site. you will not have to resync though.
if you have a windows wallet, it may be cut off. as long as you downloaded the updated windows wallet last night, and not the first one, you're good to go.

if it has a different string after 2.0.0.0 you are on the wrong wallet, please download another from the main site. you will not have to resync though.
if you have a windows wallet, it may be cut off. as long as you downloaded the updated windows wallet last night, and not the first one, you're good to go.
I just downloaded OSX wallet from the website and installed it, version: v2.0.0.0-4ad1dd0-funky-beta is that OK? |
