the Verge Wallet on my imac isn't syncing anymore, 11 days behind. I left it powered on all night, 9 hours and it has synced any block. Any suggestions how to solve this?

I had the same problem with 2 different wallets. One was windows and one was linux.

at the same time, another wallet I have at work on a windows 7 pc was syncing along just fine.

I tried resyncing but it still got stuck around 284k.

Finally, I copied the blockchain from the windows pc that was syncing and and then just replaced my wallet.dat file and it worked.

Just remember, as long as you have redundant copies of your wallet.dat file you are fine.

Question though: Will a wallet still sync when the blockchain is stuck? Does it catch up and just sync up to the last block even though the blockchain isn't growing?

just delete the blockchain info you have in your appdata verge folder and sync from scratch and itll be fine

I still suggest backing up.  even if nothing is wrong now...  if your computer pw supply goes, it could fry your mb..and boom you lost your HD too?

i think the majority is at xvg.suprnova.cc, but it is spread out.. kinda hafta just open them all n check..

Actually I deleted all blockchain data before running -reindex
I deleted peers.dat, retried and it is on 319382.

Is it the right blockchain height?
https://www.blockexperts.com/xvg says it's 319382 currently but it's age is 18 hours.

Is it correct? or blockchain site is down?

Chains moving again.
