halving is in ~20 something days.. and no we arent going pos because mining is already producing enough coins, and our hashrate is plenty high =]

Even if we wanted to, there's been a lot of changes lately and things are running great right now. Do we really want to be the coin that was scrypt, then MA, then POS a month later?

Change is a good thing but too much change makes it look like we just can't decide who we are.

I only sold about 10% during the last surge and I've been patiently waiting. Now it looks like I'm gonna get it all back 3-4X. Kind of wish I'd sold a little more but I don't like putting downward pressure on it. More fun to let it soar.

Just wanted to chime in that I 100% agree with p75 on keeping things as they are.

Things are looking good:
We have a smooth blockchain, some additional redistribution and availability of currently low cost coins for any to acquire.
I am also looking forward to the new wallets and to see how things work out once there are two additional options to mine.
It seems like that may distribute coins even wider, and possibly help keep the blockchain consistent and even.

ive added the radio tab to the new version (still in its own branch, not merged with master yet)

the only issue im experiencing is, the radio player shows up, just doesn't play the audio. i've narrowed it down to being a qt version issue, and qt module..

ill figure it out shortly. if anyone wants to take a look, its in the branch called test. needs qt5.4 and webkits (possibly webview) modules/libs

just not functioning properly yet due to a module/version issue.. ill post a screenshot in a bit.

i play alot of games.   install game.   first goto option... turn off music.

turn down ambiant (if any)
turn UP x sounds.  (players/mobs/etc)

My hearing is..scary good.

i hear farther , better etc.

any ambiant noise,  anywhere... blocks out the sound i need to stay alive.

i know.  im a freak!

if i do listen to music...thats what im doing... listening to music.  and its RockNroll all the way!

im assuming u want to have the radio stuff there....

what about putting it in, but disabling it.  that way now 'hard' update is needed to get it running...
just that auto update...

Love the radio!.. It is one of the main reasons I started mining this coin.. Why? Its something different! The web site looks professional and the classic rock is awesome!
The coin is cheap! What would be really cool is get them to advertise verge coin maybe do request songs in exchange for verge donations to get less commercials! I can here it now the dj says "ok this next song was requested by a verge listener who bought 30 mins of Pink Floyd! Enjoy!
