you can either use the seed phrase to privkey tool, or just wait til the server goes back online shortly.

With all the hard and quality work the loyal dev is putting in this coin, it's way undervalued and i don't think 100 sat a coin is an unrealistic target for this year.

I'm having an absurdly difficult time syncing the blockchain.

Default installation, seems to get stuck on a block and hangs for hours. I've already deleted the blockchain and started from scratch once, resulting in 16 hours lost.

I prefer not to do that again. Any other ideas?

Really appreciate it. Seemed to have gotten me 90% there. Thanks again. For anyone else doing the same thing, all I did was throw these files into the \APPDATA\ folder and started the VERGE-qt client up.

an i2p mixer is better, which is in the works. the main reason i say mixing doesn't work is because forensics can trace transactions. that's the point of what Sandia is doing right now, they're building a blockchain forensics tool, that will ultimately find origins of mixed coins, as well as locate users that werent on tor/i2p.

well, i2p/tor help prevent the main issue with mixing, which is, ip obfuscation. on blockchains, all ip addresses that are not on tor or i2p, are kept in logs (not the blockchain itself) so it's pretty simple to match timestamps with transactions. sandia is aiming (and will) have a way to follow transactions on blockchains, regardless of them being mixed, which will ultimately lead to the users ip addresses. i2p and tor prevent the users ip address from being on the network completely, which is much better for privacy. im not a fan of mixing, but im a huge fan of i2p, so adding mixing to it can only help in my opinion.

yeah the issue is with getting the same ip back for it, so the current android wallet goes back online, just waiting on my host to write me back.. then ill pop up the i2P and TOR electrum servers.
