I too was making an earning from faucets in the starting and later on realized the potential of the currency. When I started it was around $300 and now it has grown high than expected. I trusted in it and travelled along with it, though people around me put forth negative statements regarding bitcoin.

Yeah. Most of us who have been using Bitcoin for quite some time, have seen its price levels between the $250 - $300 USD range. It was a perfect opportunity to invest into Bitcoin, as nowadays it became a very popular cryptocurrency gaining more interest from the masses each day. If I knew by then, that Bitcoin's price would reach levels of $1000 and beyond (after the Mt. Gox event), then I would've placed most of my money into the pioneer cryptocurrency.

In my early days, I believed that I was earning a good amount of money via faucets, but as I matured in the crypto world, I've that I had to look out for other ways to make good money with Bitcoin.

Nevertheless, I'm hope to learn more about Bitcoin each day, and become an expert in it.  Grin
For everyone here and all who are new to bitcoin have started same like earning from faucets and just storing them, they went from earning 0.1$ to 1$ to 10$ to even more and we always went more that is our nature, we are just hoping to improve with each time we earn money, but people get too greedy and start trying to get it the easy fast way like gambling, so as long as you are patient keep on going.
Of course, only patience and our hopes will be rewarded. For example, I recently started working with Bitcoin and I manage to earn only with the signatures of companies. Of course I would like more, but I have no desire for gambling, and there are no skills and knowledge for trade.

Yes. It is the usual when we are new into Bitcoin. As we didn't have proper knowledge about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, we were driven by greed thinking that faucet earnings or even gambing could make us rich quick, when it is all the contrary.

While faucets are time consuming, and not designed to make a living out of them, they're the perfect tool to introduce other people into cryptocurrencies. Such method is perfect for kids, to help then earn a few satoshis and collect them for the long term when Bitcoin's price would've been much higher than what it is right now.

Nevertheless, when you're starting with Bitcoin, you'll experience lots of undesired events, but overall, it will help you become mature in it and other cryptocurrencies. Just my opinion.  Smiley

February/2015 was the month when I started to look at cryptocurrency world. I saw the Satoshi's white paper and, with some friends, we began to try to find a way to mine BTC. Home-made rigs were long gone, and we found some online pools. Several were just scams, and we just bought some coins (BTC was ~$300) these days.
After that, the next thing to do was to find ways to spend our BTC (prepaid credit cards, BTC ATM's) and to watch its value rise, new altcoins develop and the glimpse of a new financial system.
It's been a cool ride.  Cheesy

But am so happy because i earn 0.1 btc that time but i don't know what is used for.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy

I've always been scaled in many ways I'm so crazy . but still I've always wanted to earn what I have been loss ,and never be fooled again. I just need to be wise enough in many ways in order for me to earn.

Fun, when I started into Bitcoin a site I frequented started accepting Bitcoin very recently and made it their top post looking at the idea I became curious and read the whitepaper which got me into it because of how eloquently it was written and explained. It made sense and the beauty of the mechanism inspired me to look into it, Bitcoin was onto something and at the time I was rewarded for it because this was the 2013 rally and I saw my assets triple during the rise. Of course from then on I was in the green to today and decided to involve myself in the background in Bitcoin related fields which are starting to bloom.

The inverse was of course that the rally of 2013 was due to good old Gox running the first fractional Bitcoin reserve and was the scams of the day then there were the classics like inputs.io, mintpal or bitfunder which artificially bumped the price but as the infrastructure and networks grew legitimate investment appeared and Bitcoin far exceeded those depressions and crisis's and that brings us to the present.

I have seen the accidental fork resolve itself back in the day but the split that we are seeing today is one of the more complex issues of the times where we will move from here is fascinating as the debate moves between asset class vs transaction mechanism. Of course it provides an opportunity to really let the Alt-coins shine.

How Bitcoin will move from here will hopefully not let us but ideally makes us happy as a community and meets our expectations regardless of how rocky the road is to get there if it means we split the path then perhaps we will just begin a new chapter.

Bitcoin seems to be entirely new for all the users around, but the same will give loss at the beginning stage as it looks to be exactly different from our daily life. The bitcoin as a growing digital asset won't get recognised by users at the beginning but soon after this when days pass everyone starts realising it. But as quoted few tries hard to get the loss back but very few will be successful.

We are not early adopters of bitcoin.

Hmm. Dunno about that. Fresh arrivals now are either the final wave of mugs before it all flies down the toilet, or still early adopters. There are whole countries with a grand total of 1 Bitcoin ATM. That's rather a long way from saturation.

I would say we passed Early Adopters and moved to Early Majority, however the movement has adjusted the metric and the early adopter stage has moved to the Alt-Coins while the early majority is diversifying into them or getting into Bitcoin.

But your right using the present metric of Bitcoin ATM's it is far from mainstream or early majority in some countries and 7/tx per second is far from Visa at 56,000, Paypal is considered mainstream at 115 tx in 2014. Ebay has been around for a long time and online shopping as well and is considered mainstream but could be seen as Early Majority back five to seven years ago.

In other words it depends on the country at a macro scale but it is farther ahead in other locations.
Overall the interpretation is debatable.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Scalability
Of course the extreme case means pretty big blocks which makes Blockchain compression proposals all the more attractive.

Cheesy
That was really a much strange experience with me . Actually when at once I listen about this then I thought that it is only a written words "bitcoin" to make just fool but when I resister at blockchain then I understand well that how did the bitcoin is spreading in the whole world and it is the truth against the bank system .
That was really a experience to think about everything in logic way , if you want to do some more better thing then anyone . That was awesome time for me .
Even today when I told and teach about bitcoin to my friends , then they looked at me with strange face and saying that you are making fool us , there is nothing that is more powerful and perfect then bank money system .

Actually when I was new in bitcoin gambling industry I barely understand how to bet but I just simply follow the procedures and eventually I was able to successfully gamble. I proved then that things would be easier if we will apply it in real practice, it's not complicated actually if you simplify it.
Further, you are here for a reason and you have to believe that any doubts in your mind will be answered by the helpful members here and I'm of them, so please don't hesitate.

First answer to your question, gambling site has their own wallet and you can use your exchange site wallet as well where you can cash in and our your money, transactions will be vice versa.

That can be some kind of act of carelessness on the both of you. Entering or exploring gambling when you are still new to Bitcoin might result into many loss. It is like entering also in a HYIP program that has a high risk involve on losing your so called investment.  For new users I would suggest taking a slow learning with Bitcoin, understanding Bitcoin and what it is as a whole before testing gamblings sites for the first time.

I'll never forget my first try of bitcoin and that is a mistake made by me. Since no one is guiding me and I'm not here in forum, I thought that hyips are the only way to earn bitcoin. I invested my profit from faucets there, at first my .001 btc earned .005 btc but when my second attempt, it already turned to scam which taught me a lesson and it was late I joined the forum and suddenly many already knew about it that all of them are scam.

My first experiences with Bitcoin when I first started was the difficulty to used, lots of questions in my mind, the processed on how it works. Also, I got scam when I joined ponzie scheme just to received the return of investment fast. But the thing of this was Im thankful that Ive learned bitcoin since 2015 because this way I earn money.
That was the issue faced by may as i do find it difficult to understand everything in the beginning but now there are web wallets to help the newbies to settle down and learn all about bitcoin but in the beginning it was hard to learn the trade with less options we had.

Yeah almost all of bitcoin user is from this way. In the first try almost all are hard in trading almost loosing some bitcoin, in gambling don't know how to deposit or don't know how to bet, In sending bitcoin don't know what to do, until  years passed all this hard things in first day or first weeks become easy.

Yes, it will probably happen that way. The split may occur in any time, making 2 distinct Bitcoins on the markets. If that happens, then either Bitcoin Core would maintain its value, or Bitcoin Unlimited may take the lead in market cap. It will be an interesting time for Bitcoin, as once BU gets approved by the miners, it will become more scalable and put an end to the slow confirmation times.

Ever since I've started into Bitcoin, I've seen it change drastically. Before, it was the wild west, but now people see it as a serious investment to serve as a store of value.

I'm confident that the Bitcoin community would come up with a resolution to the scaling debate, to make it move forward towards mainstream adoption. I have not given my hopes yet on Bitcoin, and will continue to support it until the end. Just my opinion.  Smiley
