Another rumor, Madrid is ready to get a GP in the near future.
The "city" is doing the paper and the work necessary to ask for the permit to be a site for the GP.
Please don't tell me that it would be another street circuit... I think there is already enough such kind of tracks. As I understand, Madrid would replace Barcelona GP because I doubt that Spain would have 2 GP's. Ok, it's not most exciting track, but I still would prefer it over street circuit.

It will be, nowadays they are doing this kind of track... I guess it is cheaper to close the city and do a layout than build a new track from zero for only a 5-10 years contract.

Rumors:
Carlo Saninz will leave Ferrari in 2025 and his spot will be taken by Lando Norris.
According to the rumor Norris already signed a deal with Ferrari.
Sainz will go to Audi.
Really good move made by Ferrari if this its true. Lando Norris its one of the better drivers on the entire F1, he never had the car he deserve, but he really have hands and also a good mentality. The main question its, for first driver or alongside Charles Leclerc? I think Leclerc its gonna say goodbye to Ferrari.

France also wants to have a Grand Prix soon. We had a Grand Prix on Paul Ricard Circuit last season and they must be wishing to have another one on the same track. When it comes to the rumour related to Sainz to Audi it seems like more than just a rumour. Ferrari can be even on the brink of losing both drivers in a couple of years. Because Leclerc's name is also called with Red Bull and Mercedes. I wouldn't expect Red Bull to take such step as long as they keep Verstappen. Because they wouldn't change their system to seeing both drivers equal. But for Mercedes it is quite possible if Leclerc would like to go there. On the other hand I'm hearing things such as Leclerc is decisive to be a part of Ferrari's resurrection and bringing back the competitive times.

I think the ideal team for him should be Mercedes and Hamilton by 2025 should be not out of F1 but should go and help some other team like Alonso is doing and Schumacher did at the age of 40 as in 2025 Hamilton will be 40.I know that Totto Wolff said that they owe Hamilton the 8th title and how skillful he is but if they are not able to bring a winning car to him I don't see much interest from Hamilton either staying here.

Imagining Norris at Ferrari could be really interesting. But it depends on whether Ferrari change themselves and become more competitive than this. Because currently they aren't in a title race and they are the 4th team in constructor standings. The car can be strengthened more than this but the important point is to deal with bad strategy issues the most.
If Leclerc and Sainz both leave at the same time then I wonder who Norris' teammate would be at Ferrari. Maybe the rumours about Albon would come true and we can see him there.

Also Mercedes will have to further improve their car before they can tempt Leclerc to join them thus I feel that these are pure speculations about him quitting Ferrari for Mercedes.

Apparently Ferrari rejected the rumor that Lando will be getting into Ferrari, which I assumed as much because that didn't made any sense anyway. Lando is a first driver, Charles too, never made sense to put them together in the same car, wouldn't really work that well.
Lando is greatly happy where he is at Mclaren, he may not have the best team but he is the best driver of that team and he is worked towards, Mclaren does whatever they can to get him a win and that's more than enough for him. I do not think that there is a need for them to be doing anything different, just think about how Lando is getting the team work towards him and realize Ferrari won't do that and you see why. Sainz could still leave though, we do not know what's going to happen there.

According to Google, we will have another weekend characterized by rain. We should have days with rain on Friday and Saturday, therefore during both qualifying sessions.
There will be two because the sprint race will be done.
On the other hand, the sun is expected on Sunday.

McLaren have made a really serious progress in the recent times. They are like the second fastest team now considering the latest race. But the most important point will be to keep this level against their main competitors currently. Because they won't be the only team bringing big updates to the coming races. But for now Norris has just the kind of a car he would like to show his skills more comfortably. This even helps Piastri do a good job also. He missed podium slighly due to safety car. I can't wait to watch his development on one hand also. But when it comes to climbing to top places in constructor standings McLaren's job won't be easy at all.

Lando Norris is literally having the time of his life with McLaren. Those guys at that team really know how to take care of their driver as evidenced by his moments of glory in the British GP. As for Ferrari, they have the means to win a lot, they have a powerful car and literally a huge funding for R&D, but they lack a lot in strategy and communications. I don’t think Norris will change teams any time soon. He’ll get the most in McLaren and it seems that the team is also shaping him to be the best as well. As for Sainz, well, he tried his best, but obviously Ferrari isn’t for him.

Because Norris is not a suitable candidate at this time for Ferrari, even if the performance is quite good, but that is not what Ferrari is looking for, they are looking for drivers who can work with the team and other drivers and Norris is not suitable for these criteria. We don't know what Vasseur is thinking at the moment, but it seems that Vasseur is still confident about Sainz for now, because even though Sainz had several problems with Ferrari, until now he is still trusted to be the second driver.

And didn't Norris sign a somewhat long term contract with McLaren that would last until 2028 or something? I think that should be put into consideration. Lol. F1 isn't really like football in that a team buys and sells players everytime they feel like it... I could be wrong and there could be some seasons that it happened but it doesn't happen all the time. Teams and drivers usually wait for their contracts to run out. Here's the time table for the race this weekend! I'm thinking it's not gonna be boring as the other teams are picking on car development. 2023 F1 Hungarian GP ScheduleFriday 21 July: Practice 1 13:30 - 14:30 Friday 21 July: Practice 2 17:00 - 18:00 Saturday 22 July: Practice 3 12:30 - 13:30 Saturday 22 July: Qualifying 16:00 - 17:00 Sunday 23 July: Race 15:00

Leclerc Contract will expire at the end of 2024, so Ferrari can do a double change for 2025 with 2 new drives if Sainz is confirmed to going out to Audi.
Both drivers are far behind the expectations at Ferrari (also Ferrari itself), it would not surprise me if both drivers have to go? Sainz will definitely have to go, but why should Audi take him?
News from MotoGP, according to Motorsport.com KTM wants to bring Marc Marquez into the KTM family. I can't imagine both, that firstly KTM wants and can pay Marquez so much and secondly the LCR team would switch to KTM after 18 years of Honda? But here is the article in German. I feel like that would be the best case for Norris, but only if he was the first driver. Why? Because he is so good at telling what should be improved on a car and how it could be better and all that, he actually made Mclaren do a car that fits him perfectly. No person that drives with him ended up getting used to it, that's why they got Piastri, a new kid that would be better for them on the long run because a new one wouldn't know how other cars feel. Sure they know how other formula cars like f2 feels, but they think it is feeling like this when you race f1, even Ricciardio didn't race that well with Mclaren, and nobody else would. So when Piastri moves to another team, if he does, then he will be even better.

Apparently Ferrari rejected the rumor that Lando will be getting into Ferrari, which I assumed as much because that didn't made any sense anyway. Lando is a first driver, Charles too, never made sense to put them together in the same car, wouldn't really work that well.
-snip-
Because Norris is not a suitable candidate at this time for Ferrari, even if the performance is quite good, but that is not what Ferrari is looking for, they are looking for drivers who can work with the team and other drivers and Norris is not suitable for these criteria. We don't know what Vasseur is thinking at the moment, but it seems that Vasseur is still confident about Sainz for now, because even though Sainz had several problems with Ferrari, until now he is still trusted to be the second driver. Even Leclerc is having issues with the team actually. They make him really angry with their unbelievable actions. Leclerc is trying not to reflect it to the media as much as possible but it is easy to understand his frustration even through team radio. These simple mistakes Ferrari make just make things more difficult for their drivers to work with them coherently. When it comes to the race weekend I see some probability of rain for only Friday. For Saturday and Sunday I see it sunny. A little rain wouldn't be bad for the race especially but it looks like we won't have it. This must be another race with Verstappen's domination. I'm just curious about the other members on podium. Maybe Norris can be a part of podium again and we can see Hamilton also. Hamilton finished in 2nd place on Hungaroring track last season.

From this list only Lewis Hamilton is an important driver, all others are relative average drivers and no one would care if they don't race anymore next year and are replaced by other rookies.I personally don't feel any empathy for any of them except for Ricciardo who I sympathize a bit,all other drivers do not spark in me and I believe in many other F1 fans that follow it from years any kind of sympathy toward them except their co nationals. I am much more interested to see what happens in the end of 2024 where many other talented drivers except Hamilton expire their contracts and we would see lots of moves even in top running cars.

I agree, the only one of these drivers with increased ability is Hamilton, but with Hamilton I see some problems now, his salary demands will be very high (which only Ferrari will want to pay apart from Mercedes) and secondly why would Hamilton and Ferrari do the partnership? Hamilton is too old to clean out the dung heap at Ferrari for years and Ferrari is too weak for Hamilton to become world champion for the next two years, I rather assume Hamilton will extend his contract with Mercedes or retired?
